(Chapter 8, A cool night.)
I thought Rin would have known by now that I had a hard time dealing with that kind of sad crap. Man, he got me crying now. Anyway, I decided to pick him up and bring him back inside. I do admit, it was a beautiful night, nice and warm with a cool sea breeze blowing up from the shore. I looked back while carrying Rin inside, maybe staying outside would be a good thing. I sighed then poked my head into the mansion. "Rone, turn on the indoor pool lights please." My electric house assistant that was built into the building while it was in construction, (which may I tell you, cost ALOT of money!) She was very helpful. I would always tell her things ahead of time so she could plan for it. I really didn't want to push her too hard, even though she was a computer/robot thing.
I walked down the smooth, glass stone steps that led down to the pool, which was inside a glass dome to keep the unwanted insects out. I felt Rin squirming in my arms. Perhaps he knew what I had planned.
