OKay, this one feels a bit rushed. And it was suppose to be bloodier, but you have to understand that it's hard to do that when you're listening to, "Aint no Mountain High Enough.", "Hooked On a Feeling." and, "Come and get Your Love." on repeat. Damn music.

REVIEW TIME!

A Writer With Mixed Interests: Oh! You're here too! Yay! Thank you! There arte a few things I would change looking back, but it's good to see that people like it :) Thank you for reading!

PeanutFangirl: Yeah, don't do it again.

z0mb3xor: Carful what you say.

midnightviolet0: Clementine hasn't had her innocence since she shot Lee. Innocence is something that non of these people have.

Lady Mac 13: Yes, everyone come join the Nick and Sarah prayer circle.

Fan fact: I had such a hard time deciding on who should lose the eye and who should kill Carver.

ONTO THE STORY!

"Nick?" I questioned as he handed me off to Luke, who took my hand and tried to lead me away but my feet stuck to the ground like glue, "What're you doing?"

"Go with Luke," Nick said, taking his eye off me and sending it to Carver, "Kenny and I will be out in a moment."

"Nick, man," Luke said, concern in his voice, "Come with us."

"Luke," Rebecca cut in, a warning hidden in her voice, "We'll all be out in a minute."

I noticed Omid looked between the crowbar and Carver, a sick, twisted smile planted right on him face. Not another word was spoken as Luke began to lead me out the hardware store and those who weren't staying to watch were following after.

"What, Clementine," I heard Carver's raspy voice, "You're just going to-"

He was cut off, but I couldn't exactly say what by, seeing as I was facing away by this point. But it sounded like a punch or a kick. I tried to turn, just to see what was going on, but Luke didn't allow it. He practically pushed me out of that store. Jane whistled, gaining the attention of a nearby walker. Sending a quick stab to it's head, it fell limp to the ground.

"Here," Luke handed me a small hatchet, "You'll need something to protect yourself with." I flinched when I heard another hitting sound.

I looked back from where I came, not being able to see anybody inside because it was rather dark. Luke placed a hand on my shoulder, and offered me a sad smile. I shook my head, sending myself back into reality. I did the same thing Jane did moments ago and approached a nearby walking corpse. A quick whistle and it started to stumble towards me. Due to my shorter height, I couldn't just reach up and chop it. I sent the sharp end of my hatchet to it's knee and it stumbled downward, then I was able to get the back of it's head.

I flipped it over so I could slice it's belly open. Hearing yet another hit echo from inside, I accidentally put to much pressure on the rotten flesh and the blade seeped deeper into the walker, more blood pouring out and covering my hands. I cringed slightly before opening the dead man up and smothering his insides all over me.

Sarah was near and stuttered, "You're going put that all over yourself?"

"We have to Sarah," I whispered, sharper then I had intended, "Turn around I'll get your back."

"This is so gross!" She exclaimed but obeyed the order anyway.

Carlos came over, already covered and started to smother the blood all over her arms and torso, "It's ok sweetie. Everything will be fine if you just remain calm."

Just then I saw Nick, Kenny, Omid, and Rebecca come out of the hardware store. Nick and Kenny had splatters of blood here and there and there was even a bit on Omid, who oddly had a happy face on. Rebecca was clean though, although the satisfied smirk wasn't gone unnoticed. She had avenged Alvin. The four of them started covering themselves as Carlos and I had finished on Sarah. Walter and Mathew were behind us.

"Be carful," Walter said while cupping his lovers cheek and caressing his blood covered flesh.

Mathew rolled his eyes, "Walter, don't worry so much! We're both gonna get out of this alive. And after this is over, I'll find you."

"I love you, Mathew," Walter smiled at him.

He smiled back, "I love you too."

I slightly smiled at the scene, despite all the walker insides on me.

"Hey Clem," My head snapped in the voices direction and there was Nick, just as covered as I was, "You ready?"

I looked up at him. He had been carful to avoid his eye, not wanting to risk infection. I gave a simple nod, "Are you?"

"Well," He chuckled, as if nothing had happened moments ago, but he did look a bit freaked out, "I'd rather not be walking into a herd, but it seems we have no choice."

"We often never do," I agreed.

He sighed before crouching to my height and whispering, "Listen, I don't want you walking out there alone. You stay close to someone. And one of our own. Whether it's Luke, Carlos, Rebecca, fuck, maybe even Sarita. I don't want you out there alone with Kenny or Jane or even Mike. I'd rather you stay close to me, but it'll be hard to stick together and go unnoticed."

"I'll be careful," I promised, "Don't worry about me."

"It's my job to worry about you," He smirked, "but you make it easier not to."

I offered him a small smile before we all started walking out to the herd. I looked at the walkers, at their rotted faces while we passed. Their milky white eyes just blankly looking around. I wonder if they can see through them. Can they smell? If so, what do they look for and what do they sniff? I wonder if they have any other thought then eating or looking for something to eat. What if the person that they were is just trapped inside, wandering around without control of their legs. Eating without control of their mouths. Watching helplessly as their corpse kills and feasts. Not that it matters. They're still a threat, and threats need to be taken care of.

I found myself behind Sarah, who was behind her dad. She was starting to breathe heavily, probably on the verge of a panic attack.

"Shh," Carlos soothed, "Quiet honey, everything will be fine if you remain calm." This did nothing to calm her down. Her arms wrapped round her waist and she looked ready to collapse. Carlos whispered, "Clem, can you try to calm her down? Please, you're her friend."

I looked over at the slightly older girl, "Sarah, hush. Everything's going to be-"

My sentence was cut off when a bullet whizzed past me and hit Carlos's ear. He could help but let out a small yelp, but a small one was still enough to draw the walkers attention. The first one pounced his back and took a bite of him and another grabbed his arm and gnawed on that as well. Sarah's breathing turned into shouts and screams.

"DAD!" She yelled, helplessly watching as the dead ate her father. She squeezed her eyes close and held her hands to her head, "DADDY!"

I heard another shout, this one sounded like Jane, "Get that girl to shut up! She' gonna get us all killed!"

"Sarah," I heard Bonnie, who was shooting a walker that was about to attack her, "Run!"

"Sarah run!" I agreed while looking around, making sure that none of them were coming towards up. I looked back, "Sarah, did you-" I didn't get the chance. The girl had dashed straight forward, with no destination she ran without looking back.

Walkers were starting to surround me, but I dodged their attempts to grab me. I moved, running slightly. That's when I saw Sarita. She was desperately trying to get away from a walker that had it's teeth clung to her wrist. Time seemed to slow. I lifted the hatchet up and sent the sharp end down on her arm. That got a decent amount of her flesh. I sent another swing there. This time taking the arms of completely. She looked at her stump (Which was spurting blood) and screamed.

The scream attracted more. My attempt to save her was for nothing because another walker grabbed her and bit her on the shoulder. A gunshot killed the walker and I turned to see Kenny and Mike. Sarita collapse to the ground, dead no doubt.

"Sarita!" He screamed and rushed to the Indian woman, "Sarita?"

"Kenny," I whimpered, suddenly feeling guilty, "Kenny, I'm sorry. I had-"

"HOW FUCKING DARE YOU, CLEMENTINE?!" He bellowed.

"Kenny," I said again. I heard growls come from the woman. Kenny seemed to ignore this. Damn it, he's going to be pissed. Out of fear that she would jump up and kill one of us, I sent the hatchet back down to her head. Some of the blood splattered on Kenny.

"CLEMENTINE!" He shouted.

"Kenny, I had to!" I insisted, "She was going to come back."

Mike looked around, "Kenny man we gotta go!"

"THIS IS ON YOU, CLEMENTINE!" Kenny shouted at me as Mike practically dragged him away.

I shook my head, trying to make sense of everything. Remembering where I was, I dashed past walkers and looked around. I was trying to find someone. Good thing I know my way to the civil war museum. I slowed to a walk when I felt it was safe. Pushing past growling walkers, I thought about calling for Luke or Nick. But calling for anyone at the moment would be stupid. My focus has to be getting out of the herd.

I turned and pushed past more walkers. I could feel my heart hammer with every move I made. I was a bit paranoid, thinking that maybe my bloody disguise wouldn't work at any moment. I stayed that way, barley able to move my legs until I reached the edge of the forest. I don't know how they didn't notice me, but thank god they didn't. When I entered the forest, I started to run again, just to be sure that I had gotten away. after a bit, I tripped and fell to my knees.

Landing with a thump, I sat up to that I was on my knees. The fall that made my stomach hurt again. I folded my arms and held them close to my midsection. That's when the truth dawned on me.

I was alone out here.

I don't know why, but I felt the sudden urge to cry. And since no one was here to see them, I allowed tears to stream down my face. My body racked once as a sob took over. I would've wiped my eyes if my hands hadn't been covered in blood. I stopped when I heard the bushed rattle. I picked my hatchet beck up and automatically went into defense mode. I held the weapon close. When the source of the noise came out, I blew a breath of relief.

"Clementine? Thank god! You're okay!"

So, who do you think that was?

Keep praying!
