Chapter 48

That Pxnkie Girl: OMMIGOSH! You are just to sweet! and to answer your questions...

For the new characters like Helena and so forth, how did you based off their personalities? : I'm one of those people who just picks up on every little thing. Pete once stated that Nicks mom was stubborn, so I put that in. I also thought that since Nick didn't have much of a father, he would be more like his mom. So I just made assumptions. I thought that Carry should've been like Rebecca considering be's and carvers affair.

And would you add yourself to this story? But disguised as someone else? Like you being Bonnie, or making up your own character.: I try to keep people in character. Bonnie's still Bonnie. Nick is a bit nicer this time around. Luke is still Luke. Clementine is the only one that I can imagine that people express themselves through, considering that she's the payable character.

Why the feels? ;-;: Because they're needed.

leafs nation: I cant just kill Kenny XD I actually like Kenny

chapter 49:

April: OMMIGOSH I LOVE YOU! You're so nice ! You read all of that? That's dedication right there! Thank you so much!

vanmiller767: DAwww thanks! But im afraid this story is far from perfect. Hope you got some sleep! Thank you again! And sure, I'll write forever.

Kristal-Dynamite: I was actually joking when I said that XD. You know, sarcasm. But, you're right. I do leave to many cliff hanger's I'll try not to do it again.

ONTO THE STORY

"Do you think they're alright?" I asked, referring to Luke, Sarah, and Walter.

Jane and Bonnie had left not long ago to go look for them. I would've gone instead, but Nick insisted that I needed rest. Kenny practically locked himself inside one of the tents. Mathew was still freaking out without his partner by his side. Mike was watching out for walkers. Omid and Rebecca were talking. Like actually talking! I saw them and everything! I swear that's the first time I sw the both of them smile since we left for howe's. They even laughed! Omid laughed! Sounds crazy, doesn't it?!

"Don't worry so much," Nick rolled his eye.

I nudged him, "I have to worry about them."

Nick rubbed where he was nudged, "You're just worried about Sarah."

"Shut up!" I blushed, he had been making fun of me ever since he found out.

"So," Nick said, holding me a bit closer, "Sarah huh?"

"Nick," I laughed and looked up at him before repeating, "Shut up!"

"No, really," Nick defended with a chuckle, "That really was something I didn't expect from you."

"Well," I lightly blushed, "I didn't really expect it either. Having a crush is weird!"

"No not having a crush. That's normal," He looked at me, "Just... Sarah. You know?"

I crossed my arms and pressed the back of my head into his chest, "What's weird about it?"

I noticed his heart pump a little faster and a small blush cluster his cheeks. He let out a cheesy nervous laugh and his fingers played with my hair a little bit more. He hummed an awkward tone, "Jesus, I just forgot that you were eleven!"

I rose an eyebrow, "That doesn't answer my question."

"Just," He straightened his hat, "God, this is the talk I want to avoid for as long as possible."

"Avoid what?" I was rather confused, "I thought you just said this is normal."

"Clem," He shushed me, "we'll talk about it later... as in a few years from now."

"But why cant we just-"

"Hey!" He interrupted me and pointed, "What do you think of that?"

"Nick," I rolled my eyes, "You're pointing at snow."

"I wonder If Christmas has past yet," He mumbles.

I shrugged, "Doesn't really matter."

Nick put his hand in the cold, "I remember when Luke and I had snowball fights. Son of a bitch always won. It was fun when we were kids. But when we were teenagers it annoyed the shit out of me. He even threw snowballs at me when we were adults. Other kids would join in." He shivered, "God I hate kids."

"Love you too," I mumbled.

He chuckled, "I do love you. You're different from other kids."

I looked up at him once again, "What makes me so different?"

His happy expression changed, as if he were remembering something he didn't want to remember. He turned me a bit so that he could see my face. He cupped my cheek and ran his thumb across my cold flesh. He shrugged, keeping his single blue eye on me, "You remind me of her."

I turned my head to the side, "Her?"

"My mom," He explained, "So, independent and clever. Sassy as hell, but you make up for it with humor."

I didn't know what to say. Nick had avoided talking about his mom since she had died. Luke would mention it once in a great while and Nick would get pissed. When Pete tried to talk to him about it, they both yelled at each other for who knows how long. I'll admit, Nick has seemed to have an easier time talking to me then anyone else. Maybe it's because I seem like Helena. Honestly, I'm starting to forget bit's and pieces about her. I remember her black hair along with those shining eyes and the way she would treat me. But that was a long time ago. I was, what? Eight when she died?

"Oh," I said, simply feeling like an idiot.

Nick seemed to be having a moment. He squeezed me into a big hug and whispered, "I miss her, you know?"

I nodded, "Wanna talk?"

"Just like her," Nick chuckled, "She would've loved you. Just simply adore you. You would've been mini her."

I smiled, "I'm glad."

Nick pressed a kiss to my forehead and gave me another squeeze. I simply smiled, happy that he was there. The moment was ruined when I heard a certain short haired woman.

"We're back," Jane announced. I looked in their direction and spotted Luke and Sarah. Both Nick and I sprinted toward our friends. Nick and Luke embraced each other in a hug and mumbled, 'thank god' to each other. I tried to place my hand on Sarah's shoulder, but she flinched away from me. I was a little hurt my the action but I just smiled at her.

"Where's Walter?" Mathew asked, a worried expression on his face.

Bonnie looked at him with sympathy, "Mathew... come. Let's talk for a moment."

That was all the man needed to hear. Mathew hid his face behind his hands as his eyes began to water. Bonnie noticed and wrapped her arms around his body. Mathew burst into sobs as Bonnie shushed him and cooed sweet words into his ears.

I looked over at Omid and Rebecca, "hey, Im going to go check on her."

"Alright," nick nodded, "Be careful."

I walked over to the two, "Hey. Bec?"

The pregnant woman looked up at me, "Hey Clem. how you doing honey?"

"Im fine," I promised, "I just wanted to know how you're doing."

"Oh I'm alright." She said, "Just tired. Omid's been keeping me company."

I gave the man a nod in acknowledgement, one he returned. I heard a sudden, sharp gasp leave Rebecca's mouth. Both mine and Omid's head snapped in her direction. Her eyes were wide and she looked surprised. Looks like that usually got me nervous.

"Rebecca?" Omid asked, concerned.

She looked at the man, "My water just broke."

As I said, lazy chapter. I is sowwy. I'll try and post again today.

BATMAN OUT ;)
