ONTI TFR STURY!

"Hey," I softly spoke and sat by her near the stone wall. Sarah kept her position, hugging her leg's close to her chest and her chin rested on her knee's. I put my back flat against the wall and moved my head to look over at her, "How are you feeling?"

She didn't really answer. Maybe she shrugged or blinked, but I couldn't see it.

I tried again, "You know, everything's going to be alright. Rebecca's in-"

"Clem..." She interrupted me. Her voice sounded small and uncertain.

A little surprised that she spoke, I scooted a bit closer, "Yes? What is it?"

"We..." She hesitated, "We're friends, right?"

I nodded, "Of course we are! We're best friends."

"Then tell me the truth," She said, she turned her head to look at me, the brown orb's behind her rose colored glassed were filled with tears. She took a breath before saying, "My dads going to come back... right? He'll come back and take us back to the cabin where it was safe and we wont have to worry about Carver anymore."

I was at a loss for words at the moment. I didn't know what to say. I felt horrible, but she did ask for the truth, "Sarah, you know that's not going to happen."

That's when the first tear slipped out of her eye.

"Clem," Rebecca looked over at us, "I think she should be left alone right now, honey."

I looked at my friend before sadly leaving. That's when I remembered the medicine I snagged from the bag. I looked over at Nick. He need's some antibiotics. I walked over to him, listening to the pills move around in their bottle with every step I took. he was messing around with the bandage, probably itchy from all the dried blood. I smacked his hand away from his eye, preventing him from irritating it. I gave him a stern look as he gave me one of amusement.

"Here," I said, touching his bandages, "Let me clean that."

"No," He rejected, "No clem, we don't have any stuff."

I rose an eyebrow at him. I disappeared into Bonnie's spot and took out the bottle of peroxide, one of the cotton balls, as well was one of the water bottles that I saw her snag out while we were at Carver's. Returning to my guardian, I set them down. He groaned, knowing that he was in for a horrible amount of pain. I gave him an apologetic look. I took out the antibiotics that Jane gave me and handed him two.

"Here," I gave him the capsules that were pink on one end and red on the other, "These should help stop the infection."

His eyebrows knitted together, "Where'd you get these?"

"Jane had them," I said, biting my lower lip. It wasn't a total lie, "Just take em,"

He shrugged and popped them into his mouth while taking a sip of his water, "Thanks."

"Don't thank me yet," I chuckled, motioning to the bottle of peroxide. He groaned again, but allowed me to remove the bandage and look at his eye. My own widened as I looked at the bloody socket. A small shiver ran down my back, "God, Nick! it looks awful!"

He chuckled, "So I wont still be pretty when this heals?"

I ignored the sarcastic question and kept looking at his bloody eye, "I'm glad Carver's dead."

"Well," He said, "We made sure of that."

I would've asked him what exactly happened in there, but I didn't want to know. Instead, I just opened the Peroxide bottle and dabbed some of the liquid onto the cotton ball. I hesitantly put it on the area, and Nick jerks back. He let out a pained yelp, but I managed to stop him from touching it.

"Hold still," I demanded, "The less you move, the less time it's going to take to do this."

He gave a slight nod and painfully said, "Yeah... right."

I looked at the small, little ball. There was a small red outline from the blood it touched. I looked back at him as I put a bit more peroxide on it. He eyed it, an annoyed look etched into his features. I rolled my eyes.

"You know," I said, placing it back on, "We need to practice your aim now that you're missing an eye."

"Yeah," Nick quietly agreed, baring the pain and hissing from the sting.

"Do you think it will be hard?" I asked, not paying much attention to what I was doing, "I don't think it will be. We'll have another bandage over you're eye, so it's not like you're going to see two ways. Not that you would if we didn't have a bandage over your eye. Maybe you should start aiming a bit more to the right. What do you think Ni-"

"SHIT!" He yelled and I realized I put to much pressure on it. He jerked back from the pain and hissed. I backed away from the surprise and my golden eyes widened.

"Nick!" I half shouted, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry dad! I'm sorry!"

I noticed his fist clench, then release when I had finished speaking. His only eye slowly looked up at me. Surprised himself, he muttered, "Did you just call me..."

My own face went a bit white when I realized what I had said. An awkward silence was filled between us. Dammit! Why do I always have to make shit awkward! The whiteness was soon replaced with red as what I had said set itself into my head. My heart began to pump hard in my chest to the point to where I could feel it. I was about to apologize, or to al least say something, but then Bonnie and Mike came running into the camp like fools.

"WE GOT WALKERS!" Bonnie declared, running towards Sarah.

Mikes arms were full with a jug of water and he looked to me, "Clem! What's the chances of us using the observation deck?!"

"Jane and Luke were clearing it out!" I said back, going into defense mode, "They should be done about now!"

"The that's where we're going!" Kenny said as he and Omid helped Rebecca walk. Bonnie gave Sarah to Mathew and tried to keep the dead off us. Nick and I walked alongside our fellow survivor and tried to make our way to the observation deck. Rebecca was letting out pained noises as Omid kept saying comforting words to her. I'm sure he had to do the same for Christa. Bonnie caught up just in time. We all walked up the steps.

"That's the most human I've felt in a long," A familiar southern voice said. Upon hearing footsteps, Luke's head snapped in my direction, "CLEMENTINE!"

I rose an eyebrow when I noticed his face go cherry red, "Luke?"

Kenny barged in, "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TWO DOING UP HERE?!"

Jane faced palmed herself and Luke muttered, "now Kenny, don't-"

"No!" Kenny interrupted, "We don't have time for this!"

"Time?" Luke question ,"What do you mean time?"

Kenny groaned, "Oh you fucking idiot!"

"Hey!" the other man snapped defensively, "I am not-"

"The baby's coming!" I interrupted to shut him up.

Luke kept saying stuff while Omid helped Rebecac inside as Kenny made room. I heard Bonnie declare that walkers were on our tails. Luke came out and helped Bonnie kill the undead that were to close for comfort. Eventually, walkers kept banging on the fats and we wouldn't be able to hold them.

Luke and I wordlessly moved one of the nearby cannons in front of the gate. It was to much weight and the deck under us began to break.

"LOOK OUT!" Luke yelled.

Everyone swiftly moved out of the way. Everyone except Sarah, who I spotted below is and trapped between two of the fallen deck planks.

As I said, I have no Uea when I'll be able to update. COuld days could be weeks
