Since all the reviews were NOOOOOOOOO," I'll skip this time :)

Enjoy!

"HELP ME!" Sarah shouted from her spot.

My looked around, my eyes wide from fear and my adrenaline pumping up and down, along with my heart, which was pounding against my ribcage and the increase of my breaths. Jane was nearby, holding onto a peice of the deck and dangling, her legs carelessly kicking around in the air, thankfully out of the walkers reach. Luke had a firm hold of her hand, preventing her from falling completely off the deck. I rushed to the both of them.

"Clem!" Jane called to me, "Help me up!"

"PLEASE!" Sarah's screams sent my attention to her.

I looked back to the short haired woman, "Jane, get Sarah!"

"Are you crazy?!" her dark eyes widened, "She's not getting out of that! Pull me up!"

Sarah kept filling the air with plea's for help. The sound of it broke something in me. I looked at Jane again, who was still trying to convince me to help her up.

"Jane," I repeated, "You cant just not even try to save her! Help her!"

Another scream escaped from Sarah, casing Jane to have an unreadable expression on her face before she let go of Luke's hand. I heard her feet hit the ground before she jogged over to Sarah and used all of her strength to lift the deck up enough for Sarah to shift out. But Sarah was panicking, unable to connect what was going on in her head or able to do what she needs to. I saw the dead inch closer and closer to my two friends.

"Sarah, get out from under there!" Jane ordered, sounding a bit afraid when she herself saw how close the walkers were to them, "We don't have much time!"

"I CANT! I CANT!" Sarah shouted, breaths coming out in quick puffs as she looked for a way to explain herself. But the only word that escaped her mouth was, "DADDY!"

"SARAH!" I yelled down to them, "SARAH, YOU HAVE TO TRUST JANE!"

"Sarah!" Jane desperately said while she eyed the stumbling dead once more, "Sarah, please! I'm trying to help you out he-"

She never got to finish that sentence. One of the loose deck pieces fell and hit her head. Jane let out a groan of pain as she clenched her head. Sarah kept screaming, and screamed still when the first of the walkers landed on her, sinking it's teeth into her arm. Jane left Sarah and climbed up the deck, ignoring the pain in her head.

"SARAH!" I yelled, aiming at my gun at the walker on top of her, intending to kill it. When the shot was made, I made one more, killing the other one crawling toward her limp body. I don't know what I was planning on doing when I walked to the edge of the deck, but I didn't get to find out. I felt arms wrap around my small figure. With my only worry and concern being Sarah at the moment, I didn't even look to see who it was. But I struggled anyway, trying to get out of the grasp of whoever was holding me. My attempts were for nothing, considering the person just lifted up so that my feet couldn't touch the ground and they carried me inside.

I could hear Rebecca screaming in the back round from the pain of giving birth and Kenny saying reassuring words, trying to comfort her. I was taken a bit away from them, further into the place.

"Let me go!" I demanded, kicking around. Tears behind my closed eyes, my head filled with images of my best friend being eaten in front of me. The picture was clear as day, even with eye's shut. When my feet finally touched the ground, my wrist were held together, stopping me from escaping. Keeping my eyelids down, I struggled even more, trying to free my hands and refusing to listen to reason, "let me go!"

"Clementine!" Nick's rough voiced echoed through my ears, "Clementine, stop fighting!"

The first of my tears strolled down my cheeks, "Let me go!"

He moved his fingers around so that only one of his hands held onto mine while his other on cupped my cheek (Which I tried to jerk away from), wiping away one of my tears and moved my head toward him.I did everything I could to try and moved away. I jerked, pushed, shoved, screamed, kicked, just about anything I could. But he kept me there, wiping the tears of my flesh. His voice came out soft when he said, "Clem, look at me."

I wanted to refuse. I wanted to go backout and after Sarah, even if the only thing there to greet me would be her bloody remains. But something in his voice made me open my golden orbs, tear filled and all. I looked into his only eye, seeing something I didn't recognize in them. I whimpered, voice cracking as I choked out, "Sarah..."

"I know," Nick whispered, embracing me into his arms and allowing me to hide my face into the crook of his neck and my tears soak his shirt.

"There are too many coming up!" I heard Luke say from outside.

"Shit! What do we do?!"

There was a brief pause before I heard Jane declare, "We have to drop the rest of the deck!"

"Drop the..." Mike trailed off before realizing what she said, "Are you fucking crazy?!"

"She's right!" Luke agreed, "Mike, cover me while I get the other side!"

It wasn't long before I heard a big crashing sound, suggesting they had done what Jane said and dropped the deck. I didn't care. I was to busy focusing on the moment I was having. Sadness and anger started to tear at me in opposite directions and I let Nick sit there and keep me held together. Eventually, I heard our group members enter back in. But I still didn't care. The only time I moved myself away from Nick to see what was going on was when I heard a baby cry.

My red tinted eyes landed on the infant, who was covered in gross stuff and wailing. Kenny quickly covered the baby, wrapping him in what we were using for a blanket. Omid actually looked happy when he looked at the kid. He was probably thinking about Christa, thinking that he could've had one of those things of his own right now had some things been different. Kenny handed the baby off to Rebecca, who took her new son gladly.

I sat on the edge of what remained of the deck. The gun felt heavier in my hands knowing the task that was ahead of me. I rested my elbows on my legs as my legs dangled in the air. The slight wind caused my curly hair brushed up against my neck, making it to tickle a bit and sending a chill down my spine. Nick eventually came out, realizing I wasn't in bed like I was suppose to be. He sat by me, not saying anything. Just letting the silence fill the air.

But of course, nick can only be silent for so long, "What're you doing?"

I shrugged, looking at the gun once more. I looked up at him, eyes still glassy, "Keeping an old promise."

"Clem," she stopped in her tracks and looked at me, "Can you promise me something?"

"What is it?" I asked, curious about what it could be.

"Promise me," She started and her eyes dashed to the closest thing to her left, "That I wont become one of those things."

I felt my mouth open in shock, "What?"

"And if I do, make sure I don't stay that way?" She nervously played with her hands.

"What makes you think-"

"I don't want to be one of those things, Clementine," She looked sad, "Those things hurt people. I don't want to hurt anyone."

I felt my stomach turn and a lump form in my throat. I didn't want to lie to Sarah, but she needed this, "I promise."

I recall the event well. Remembering the shock I felt in the moment. Of course I had promised. I didn't want her to turn into one of those things either. Sadly, I had to. When the deck fell, some of it covered her head so I have to wait for her to reanimate, wait till she moves.

Nick said nothing more, just sat there, offering comfort should it be needed. Which I appreciated. I waited, the chirp of the crickets feeling louder then they really were, the distant sound of a howl from an owl filling my ears as well. I heard these tings with full force. this stopped only when I saw her arm move.

Sarah... Sarah's corpse shifted around a bit. Trying to get up. It took a minute, but she eventually stood up and her now white colored eyes looked around. Mouth opening and closing, as if already feeling hunger stab at her. Tears filled my eyes once again at the sight. All I could think of at the moment was the stupid moments we had. All those times we talked about the world getting better or spent goofing around when her father allowed it. All these things that seemed forever ago. Back when her hair was darker then midnight and her eyes the same color as chocolate.

My shaky hand lifted the gun. I aimed the barrel at her head, ready to do what needed to be done.

I pulled the trigger.
