Chapter 2: Mystery Guest

Author's Note: I don't own any of the animes, mangas or stories used or referanced in this story. Other than that I hope you enjoy. Also favorote and follow. Now on with the story. Now where were we... Oh yeah...

Ivan's Journal: I think I have found a solution to my problem. Maybe I'm just to old and set in my ways to save them. Maybe if I send another that will work. But I can't send one person alone. No, that would be suicide. I must send another as backup. As sort of a team. But who?... Oh I know exactly who I want to go. I'll call the guild master to see if she would allow it and to have her call them both right now and see if they will do it.

-Carpe Dium-

In a house near a very familiar looking guild. In a town that used to be Magnolia. Is one of the people who will be taking this journey. The guild master has just called him to ask him to do a favor for her. He doesn't know the whole situation though. He was just asked by the guild master to go meet the guild's old ally and his old friend, Doctor Ivan Darkmaster, at his lab for a favor he needs done.

Ryu Aki's journel:

The guild master has just called me and asked if I could do her a favor but she couldn't explain. Just said I have to be at Doctor Ivan Darkmaster's lab by 12:00 pm if I am willing to help... Aw shit! It's almost 11:55 now. Got to run. She will skin me this time for sure. Bye for now.
-Peace and strength-

Now running through the streets of the former city of Magnolia (now called Site Zero). Ryu Aki notices a strange felling. The felling of being followed.

Ryu: 'I don't like this. I think I am being follow. Hope it's not one of "The Game Master's" hentchmen or one of their cronies.'

Turning down the final corner when he notices a lone figure standing in the allyway right in front of him. After skidding to a stop. His thoughts are confirmed.

Ryu: 'This is a new one if it is a hentchman of "The Game Master" or one of his henchmen's cronies.'
"Ok buddy! Who are you and what do you want from me?"

Mystery man (Weaky): "Help... Me..."

The mystery man proceeds to fall forward and passout. Out cold, Ryu starts to look him over from head to toe while he calls his master to send help to his location. He tells her that he is going to get the doc to help then proceeds to hang up the phone.

Narrorator: Who is the mystery man? Will Ryu make it to Doctor Ivan in time? More next time on The Reoccurring Story.
