Natalia, Steve said

Natasha Prov

I don't know how it's possible that this man who has been frozen for 70 years knows my real name. No one knows my real name except Fury, Stark, and Clint so how could this person I've never met know my real name. Quickly she realizes that Fury and the Captain are staring at her waiting for her response so she think quickly before showing her famous Black Widow smirk.

"It's nice to meet you captain, but this is our first encounter and I'm curious as to how you know my name?" she asked

She watched as he looked at her for moment curious to know what he was thinking about. She waited for him to respond but Fury interrupted before he could respond

"Maybe you remind him of someone Natasha", Fury said looking at her then turning to the Captain

"Natasha? "He said with a confused look

"Yes captain that is her name", Fury said

Natasha watch him take in what Fury had said, but still she needed an answer from him on how he knew her real name. She kept all her secrets hidden for a reason and it amazed her that he knew at least one of her secrets. She needed and answer and she needed it now.

"She did reminded me of someone from my past", she watch him hesitate "I know it can't be her because i was told that she died long ago during the war", Steve said

She looked at him and saw the sadness in his eyes as he spoke of the women she resembled from his past. For some reason she felt bad for him, but just like that she closed up her emotions. Shocked with herself for feeling something for someone she knew nothing about scared her a little. The Black Widow doesn't care for anyone except a few people and at least she knew them, but for the Captain she knows nothing about him. She had to get away and fast so gathering her thoughts before looking to at both men to speak "I hope there is no issue with us working together", she said before walking away as if she had a purpose.

Steve's Prov

I watched her walk away from Fury and me, but again I had another flashback. I know it can't be Natalia especially my Natalia because I got a letter that she had died on a flight headed to Russia for her family export business. I know it can't be her because I lost her the same time I lost Bucky the two most important people in my life are both gone.

"Captain are you alright", Fury said waiting for him to follow after Natasha

He quickly recovered himself and responded with a simple nod to fury that he was alright. While he followed Fury into the main area of the Hellicarrier his mind went back to Natasha walking away from him like she had a purpose. Steve remembered when Natalia would walk away from him as if she had a purpose. It was all too similar for to him and he couldn't help from remembering the first time Natalia walked away from him.

FLASHBACK

"Oh come on Nat just tell me", Steve said pleadingly

"Rogers if you ask me one more time I sw—", she said before being interrupted

"Or you'll what", Steve smiled at her knowing she wouldn't do much to hurt him

She smirked "Well I don't have to kiss you goodbye or tel-," before she could finish she felt his lips on hers. She wanted to resist the kiss, but then again she couldn't help herself because well she did help him become a good kisser.

After about a good minute she pushed away from him "Well Rogers you're definitely getting better, but that still no way to kiss a dame out in public, she watched him turn red from embarrassment by her comment and that only made her smirk.

"You're right Nat", he said taking her hand in his before looking at her "But your no dame and you never were even when we were kids." She smiled and let him continue "Even when I was the little guy you were able to protect yourself and I know you still can, but I want to be there for you Nat" She saw that he was nervous so she squeezed his hand for encouragement before he spoke again "I know I'm going to war soon, but I want a chance to be there for you to be your Steven Grant Rogers again even if that means I'm a bit taller and bigger" he smiled

"A bit" she smirked at him "Steve I know we had feeling for each other, but I don't know who I want or what I want right now in my life", she saw the sadness in his eyes when she said that "But I would like to figure that out with you by my side for as long as you can be here" she said before placing a peck on his lips and pushing him away from her.

"Hey what was that for?" he asked while she started to walk away

She turned to him with a smirk "Why don't you find out what that purpose is" she said starting to sway her hips knowing he'd be watching

END OF FLASHBACK

Natasha Prov

She saw that both men had finally come into the room being the last to arrive. She couldn't help noticing that Steve seemed to be lost in a trance as if he was reliving a memory. Quickly she was become annoyed with him because she could see that he was lost especially in a time he didn't belong in. Finally she was thrown out of her thought when Fury spoke

"I'm glad your all here right now", he paused for a moment "Because we have a major World Wide crisis on our hands thanks to Loki a god from Asgard", Fury said before someone interrupted

"What does this have to do with us "The Avengers"? "Tony stated using air quotes around the word avengers.

"The what?" Clint asked looking at Fury

"Agent Romanoff and Stark are the only ones who know about The Avengers Initiative", he said

"So you think bringing the worlds "Super Hero's" together can stop Loki?" Clint asked Fury

"Yes I do" he paused "I believe that you Six can get the job done", he said

She watched as the men all stared at Fury in disbelief, but she knew he was right about them being the only ones qualified to get the job done. After everything was explained to them about becoming the Avengers and what each of their missions were they all parted ways only to be called in when there was a trace on Loki whereabouts.
