Chapter 2:

Finally Uncle Roland finished his account of what happened.

"And that's why Hans is in the Brig and under guard. The sealed document is addressed specifically to you, Lukens, so it is up to you to open it whenever you wish."

"The Southern Isle Council is scheduled to meet tomorrow. I will break the seal and read it there. But I want you to also come to the meeting Uncle Roland, and provide your account of the events," stated Lukens.

"As you wish, Lukens. What about Hans?"

"For now he'll be under House Arrest in my castle, not in the dungeon. The Council will determine his fate tomorrow."

After dealing with the duplicitous Duke of Weselton and Prince Hans, Elsa and Anna could move on in their lives.

Elsa was finally enjoying life like she once had, when she was oh so young, and so was Anna. Now that Elsa knew how to control her power, she moved around her kingdom freely. She was a very hands-on Monarch. Elsa was helping Anna prepare for her impending wedding to Kristoff, and the two sisters worked together to make the wedding ceremony and reception a success.

During the day, Elsa held court daily from one o'clock to whenever the last person who requested an audience had been seen. Except on Friday's and the weekend. On Fridays, Elsa loved to walk Arendelle, with Captain Smith as her escort and security and talk directly to the people. Many times Anna and Kristoff would join her. They both especially loved visiting the schools. Today they would visit the school for children up to seven years old.

"Class, we have very special guests today! Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Captain Smith and Master Kristoff!" stated the teacher with delight. The children stood in silent awe as the four visitors entered. But Elsa, Anna, James and Kristoff quickly got down to the children's level to talk to them.

"How are you all doing?" Elsa asked.

The children got excited, and proceed to show the foursome their works of art, how well they could spell and how they were progressing in other subjects. All four showed great interest to all the children, something that made the kids feel very special. Kristoff let the kids pet Sven, and feed him a few carrots. The kids squealed with joy, and Sven loved the attention.

With today being Friday, Elsa asked, "Is today story day?"

The teacher mentioned that it was. She was going to read Snow White and the Seven Dwarves today to them.

"May we read it to them instead?" asked Anna. The teacher readily agreed, and Elsa, Anna, James and Kristoff read the story together, providing different voices for each character in the story, with Sven providing animal sounds. The children were delighted!

Before they left, the foursome received a hug from each student. A few little boys commented on how beautiful Elsa and Anna were, and some little girls commented on how handsome James and Kristoff were. Many commented on how they really liked the way they all told the story! The foursome smiled happily as well, as they took leave of the school.

"I dearly love visiting the schools!" exclaimed Elsa. "The children seem to enjoy our visit and their unbridled happiness is something that does my heart good."

"Mine as well, Elsa!" stated Anna. "The little ones can easily turn a bad day into a good one."

"The people appreciate that you take such an interest in them and their children, Elsa," commented Captain Smith. "Your visits to the Guilds are also well received."

"The only way to know what my people want and need, is for me to talk to them and find out," stated Elsa. "The people know they can discuss any problems or concerns with me, and I'll give them my full attention, and see what I can do."

"Even when you can't fulfill a request, you explain to the people why, and they greatly admire you for that honesty!" exclaimed Kristoff.

"With the people having such a great relationship with me, and the wedding coming up, life can't be much better!" said Elsa with a big smile. Anna, Kristoff and James agreed.

Little did they know, Uncle Ludwig, Elsa and Anna's uncle, was planning something and planned to spring it on Anna's wedding day (Frozen Treachery fan fiction), a few short months from now.
