The greasy haired man in all black sat down quietly across from his mentor, "She doesn't remember Miss Scrimgeour, she does not have any memory of the curse."

Professor Dumbledore gave Professor Snape a curt nod, showing that he heard him. Then silence fell over the two men as they sat in the Headmaster's office.

Finally, Snape exasperated, "What's to stop her from finding out again, this is madness, Parkinson should be expelled."

Dumbledore could only nod in agreement, but he was helpless to do much else. He was given mysterious orders to make sure Pansy Parkinson continued to attend Hogwarts... no matter what. The ancient scroll was legitimate, so he did as he was told.

"Honestly Albus," Snape urged, "So Prudence is the Wandweilder... she's still a child and we cannot sit back and deliberately put her in harm's way just because a curious scroll told us to. Parkinson loves Draco, mentally so. She will see them together and she will find a way to stop it-"

"...Her curse is lifted now though Severus..." The old man finally looked into his old friend's eyes.

"That's hardly my point Albus!" Snape was not at all happy about the Headmaster's small inkling of hope. Pansy has proven herself to be dangerous, her darkness is apparent. The fact that she is tragically in love with his only godson makes him boil. Draco was sitting between a psychopathic fool and a powerful goddess... and it made Snape very nervous.

"She will protect him..."

Snape set his jaw firmly, he didn't have any words to reply. He has witnessed what Prudence is capable of and he couldn't deny she would gladly give her life to protect Draco... That still didn't answer why they had to just let it all happen to begin with...

Pansy's eyes flickered open restlessly. Today was the day she was allowed to go back to school. Her body shot upright in bed as her mind raced over and remembered her current life situation.

Professor Snape told her that two weeks have passed since she had a terrible accident in his classroom that erased almost a complete year of her memory. He had visited her every day to talk to her about what she remembers and also to give her some of his own fragmented memories so she had a better understanding of herself and who she was before. It was all very frustrating...

All she knew was that it was finally her seventh year at Hogwarts and she had to have Draco. Except...she had a terrible suspicion that something was off when it came to Draco. Nobody would answer her questions when she asked about him and she had to know why.

Prudence has now attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for an entire month. It couldn't have turned out better for her there. She loved her friends, her powers were under control and she had Draco of course. The students had all become accustomed to her and she actually felt like a normal girl. She was happy.

She smiled at Draco who was sitting beside her in history class. This particular class had become the only time they get to spend together lately. Since her powers have grown so strong she has begun to be called away to assist with sensitive situations.

It was all highly classified the things that Prudence was summoned to handle. The first time the rare black owl perched on her bed with a ominous scroll she was highly skeptical. Her Headmaster encouraged her to answer the plea for help that the scroll called for. So she followed her heart and the advice of a very wise man that started a very unique trend for her. Not even her grandfather was aware of the secret missions she went on. Draco was the only person who suffered from her new helpful excursions.

Draco gave her hand that rested in his under the table a squeeze as he bit his cheek. His amazing girlfriend has become like one of those girls with huge boobs and tight spandex in the colorful muggle picture books, a super hero. Although he found it incredibly hot that she was so powerful and good he also wished the missions never happened. The two of them hadn't been able to be alone together in weeks. Last Friday night he managed to get her alone and comfortable in a hidden place for all of twenty minutes before that damn midnight owl showed up and summoned her to London to heal a sick child with some glorious prophecy. Those were the kinds of things he had to compete with...

Pru knew what it meant when he bit the inside of his cheek... not like she couldn't hear his thunderous thoughts about her anyway... He was thinking about her in naughty ways that made her blush. She gave him an apologetic smile, she supposed it must be quite difficult to date her...

Draco gave her smile and puppy eyes a hard smirk, "Don't give me sorry eyes," he told her pompously.

She could only giggle at his hard bravado and whisper, "Believe me, I'm dying to be alone with you too."

He didn't expect that so he bit down on his lip and flared his nostrils. She can't say things like that to him! It made his already over active imagination go just a bit more wild. "Prove it," he heard himself tell her unexpectedly.

Pru's jaw went slack but she still managed to grin like a fool, "Fine, I will,"

Draco's blood boiled with anticipation at the unexpected turn in his boring history class. She was actually going to prove it, right then! He watched her very carefully as she inhaled a deep breath and placed both her palms down on the table, her wand snugly beneath, and closed her eyes.

He was on his feet without realizing as he stared at her with awe. Every other student in the classroom had turned stone still, completely caught mid motion. And not only that, Draco quickly deduced the clocks had stopped ticking, the dust mites in the air were motionless in the negative space around them... she stopped time... again.

Her heard her faint giggle as she placed herself in his arms, pushing him against the table.

His rigid face of astonishment was adorable, she had to do something to let him know she disliked being away from him so much as well.

Draco looked down into her lurid eyes, instantly turning his slack jaw into a cocky smirk. He planted a kiss on her temple and held her tightly to his chest, "You're incredible."

Pru bit her lip, she wished she could do more. The time they've spent together so far has been fantastic. Her body has begun to ache for him when she's away. She could never say it out loud, but she wanted him to run his hands all over her and kiss her until she turned blue... she has never felt that way before.

She suddenly thought about the way his eyes sometimes turned dark when she had to disappoint him by leaving. She loathed doing it to him so she pulled away to look into his eyes.

Draco could see something was on her mind. He didn't want to be rude to his smoking hot girlfriend, but he really hoped whatever she wanted to talk about would be quick because he really wanted to snog her. "What's wrong?"

"It's hard work to date me isn't it?"

He was taken aback by the abruptness of her sad tone. He'd never really thought about being with her as hard work... well not in the terms her tone of voice was suggesting... His brow furrowed as he told her, "Well...yes."

For a moment Pru's heart bottomed out and she thought he was saying he didn't want to be with her anymore, that is until she felt his large hands cupping her face, gently forcing her to look back into his stormy and passionate pupils. He looked fierce with intensity, almost as if her were angry with her, which of course he wasn't.

Draco wanted to scream and laugh at her all at once for thinking his 'yes' was in any way a bad thing. Was she kidding? He would work his arse off every day for the rest of his life to have these moments with her. "Prudence," he told her avidly, "Don't you dare think that just because I agree it's hard work it means anything... Pru..." his eyes finally softened up, "I don't care how long I have to wait to be with you, I always will."

Pru replayed his words over and over again in her head so she would never forget.

He liked the way her face blushed crimson and her eyes glossed over with unshed tears. He caused that reaction in her. He wanted to be the only man to ever cause her to react that sort of way. Her eyes sparkled and his smirk broadened at the way she fought her smile.

"Yeah...?" she whispered back to him.

"Yes," he confirmed as he finally leaned in to capture her lips.

He felt her smile against his kiss. She parted her lips to let his cool tongue gently enter and swirl around her own. A low moan escaped her throat and he knew it was absolutely involuntary.

Pru felt her heart racing, her body temperature rising... he was such a good kisser. Pru happily let him seize her mouth as she unraveled in his arms. Sometimes he made her feel like she wasn't even in her own body, just floating outside of it... she suddenly wanted nothing more than to feel his skin.

Draco's muscles jerked suddenly when he felt her tiny hands burrowing under his shirt to roam over his stomach. He couldn't help the way his abs contracted as she drug her nails across them... she was driving him insane. He tried to focus on her moist, eager mouth, but it got harder the lower her hands traveled.

She liked his hard muscles. The rock hard feeling beneath her fingertips caused a tingling deep in her gut, a glorious tingling. She was sure she would have asked him to just take her right there on their desk had she not noticed all the students still around them, motionless and blankly staring off. She was glad that she focused hard enough to completely freeze her classmates and not just render them still so they could still look at them. She pulled away, if only they were actually alone.

He heard her sigh, the realization hitting him as well. He closed his eyes and cherished the small kiss he felt her place on his jaw then told her, "For that? of course I would work for that."

Pansy was confused... but they told her she probably would be. She didn't quite think it would be this weird. Apparently a lot has happened in a year. People in her house were utterly shocked to see her. Merlin she couldn't wait for her brain to stop being so fuzzy. The hardest part was remembering the person she was on the inside. They could feed her a million memories, but none of them could explain who she really was...

Draco's body stiffened suddenly and Pru felt it beneath her palm. The two were walking into the Great Hall for lunch.

Pru had to actually stop and walk around him to look at him head on to see why he had stopped in his tracks. His brow was angry and his jaw was set, "Draco?" She was about to follow his line of sight, but before she could his raging thoughts interrupted her...

An alarm rang loudly inside her skull, the news overwhelming her... Pansy is back.

She took a deep breath and ran her hand along his jaw, "Hey," she said softly, "you ok?"

Draco felt his body relax with her touch. He was ok, just thrown off guard. He never expected to see her back in the school, why weren't they told?! Why wasn't Prudence given a warning?! Merlin's balls! The last time he saw her he had to be stunned just to pry his hands from her throat...

Then the fury returned. The memories washed over him rapidly... the way she screamed out the cursed word causing Pru terrible pain... he whole heartedly hated her and always would.

"I'm fine," he said rigidly.

.

It took Pansy a full ten seconds to realize that Draco was walking with a girl. She was so transfixed on finally seeing the guy that haunted her every waking and sleeping moment that she could only see him... His sculpted cheeks, pouty lips, silvery hair... he was more gorgeous than her mind gave him credit for. ...Then she found his hand loosely tucked with another that belonged to a girl she had never seen before.

The girls tremendous beauty and all around glow instantly struck a nerve with Pansy. Immediately, green eyed jealousy flooded her.

Millie had been dreading and trying very hard to avoid this moment all day. It was inevitable though. She couldn't be happier to finally have her friend back, she had been a lost stooge without her. But now, Pansy was about to see Draco with another girl. She watched Pansy's face slowly fade to horror and then turn to look at her.

"Who is she?"

Millie was hesitant, "Her name is Prudence Scrimgeour, she's new this year."

Like the rest of the Slytherin house that had been there that day to witness Pansy lose it, Millie had been short term obliviated, only enough to forget about the curse.

Pansy was outraged... how could he? Who was she?! Why did they look so comfortable with each other?!

"Scrimgeour...? As in...?"

"Yep."

Pansy tried to keep the roar concealed in her chest, she never expected this. "...And they're..."

Millie knew the answer right away, but was reluctant to answer.

Pansy's eyes glowed with terror as the happy couple sat at the far end of the table, talking to each other close. "How... how could he do this to me?"

"Pansy?" The larger girl asked a bit scared. Pansy seemed a bit unstable, "What do remember about that last time you saw Draco...?" Because Millie knew that the volatile couple broke up before the end of year party. And even before that he was so emotionally distant from her that people who didn't know them had to question if they were still together.

Pansy felt her stomach drop, she couldn't place an exact memory... Something bad happened between her and Draco, something she couldn't remember, maybe lots of bad things... That's why nobody wanted to talk to her about him. She went on the entire time thinking that they were ok...

.

"She's looking at me really creepy," Pru grumbled as she tried to eat her lunch.

Daphne laughed at her, "Well of course, it must be confusing to come back after a freak potions accident to find Draco dating you..."

Prudence frowned, "That must be awful."

Draco scoffed out loud, "Seriously, are you forgetting what she did to you? She fucking tried to kill you, and you feel bad that she lost her ex boyfriend?"

Prudence nodded calmly. She understood her soft heart tended to forgive easily, yes she did feel bad still...

Draco felt bad for snapping. He could always tell when she thought he did so when she became overly serene toward him. He let the tension leave him so he could speak to her rationally, "I'm sorry, but I will never forget or forgive her."

She nodded and gave him a small smile. She knew that his anger stemmed from how much he cared about her so she gave his hand a squeeze, "I know..."

Blaise watched on in envy, like he had been for weeks. It seemed the closer his two friends became the more Daphne treated him cold. He didn't think he would ever give up trying though.

"First match is this Saturday, are you coming?"

Daphne pursed her lips. It was always hard to look at Blaise without going soft so she looked away, "Of course."

"Wait! What?!" Pru asked loudly, "It is?!" She felt Draco's hand on her thigh and his voice tease her softly.

"Did you forget about my first match?"

"No!" she gushed. He was smiling at her though, "Ok, I did... kind of, but now there's nothing that would stop me from seeing you in your quidditch uniform..."

Draco's body ignited when she said things like that to him. Maybe Saturday would be the night they finally get to be alone together.

.

Pansy felt sick.

Her mind gnarled up as it tried to comprehend what was happening. She hated this... her own brain was deceiving her. She just couldn't properly put the last year together...

.

It was hard for anyone in the room not to notice Pansy's loud and angry exit from the hall.

Pru looked at Draco seriously. She was able to hear Pansy's raging and confused mind as the poor girl ran past her. It was terrible, she was so sad... angry, and clouded...

Draco bit the inside of his cheek when he saw the look in Pru's eyes. As much as he wanted to scream that now was not the time for her to practice compassion... he didn't. He would talk to her in private. But there was no way in all Hell that he would let her forget that Pansy is poisonous.

After Pru's last class she hurried out to the quidditch pitch where she knew Draco would be practicing fervently. She loved to catch Draco playing when he thought she wasn't watching. A devilish smiled flourished on her lips as she caught him zooming lightening fast around the pitch. At moments she could see his determined face... he was unfairly attractive while riding his broom...

She did not hurry to catch him after class as soon as possible so she could ogle him, although a perk... she came down so she could talk to him about Pansy. The bludgeoning blackness that swirled through Pansy's twisted and scared mind was really frightening. She knew that Draco was avoiding talking about it. That's why he suddenly left lunch, that's why he was at the pitch now... he was trying to escape for a moment.

.

Draco felt the cool metal of the beating snitch in his hand and he felt satisfied to finally have it there again. He heaved a deep breath trying to calm is thumping heart. Then as his adrenaline began to ween, he felt the pull of his ultimate desire. The quick bolt of lightning that runs his spine and tugs his heart... She was there.

It only took a second to spot her on the north end of the field by a Slytherin tower. He couldn't stop his smile when he saw that she was smiling at him.

"You're starting to look like a bloody fool!"

Draco snapped his head to the left to see Theo hovering a few feet away.

"What's that Knot?" Draco clipped, not at all happy Theo was calling him a fool.

"You're smiling too much, people are starting to talk."

Draco rolled his eyes, "That's enough Knot I don't need you speaking your opinions."

Theo scowled, he was just trying to let him know.

As if Draco even cared about what anybody thought about him and Pru.

Theo watched Draco's face split into a shitting grin right in front of his eyes. "That's the face!" Theo exclaimed.

Draco could barely hear, he had been too busy watching Pru walk farther into the pitch, toward the rings. She was watching him and it gave him a pleasant feeling to know that she was waiting just for him. He punched Theo's arm immediately and said, "Look at her Theo, look at that beautiful creature down there waiting for me."

Theo grimaced and squinted to look at the lovely girl by the left ring, Prudence Scrimgeour. Yes, she was gorgeous. So much so that he tried not to think about it. It was practically unfair how hot she was. If and when he did think about her it was usually in a wanking fantasy while he took a shower... "Ow!"

"I said look at her, not mentally fuck her!"

Theo scowled as Draco punched his arm again before flying away to see Prudence. Damnit, the blonde jerk was right, he would smile like a fool too.

.

Draco had a hungry look in his eye when he landed on the ground and began walking toward Pru. He looked like he was on a mission and she had to smile as she guessed as to what for.

Draco was determined. He needed to forget Theo's glazed face of stupidity. And to do so he needed to feel his girlfriend in his arms. So once she was within his grasp he scooped her up. He was thoroughly delighted to have her body wrap around him as she instantly melded to him.

He reveled in the low vibrations of her moan that tingled his own tongue. He surprised her, but she was always so quick to roll with his every move. So he continued to possess her tongue and memorize her mouth as he held her up by her thighs against him. The first few moments with her when they're finally alone are kind of like being on a drug. He loses control of himself and doesn't even care.

When they begrudgingly departed he asked softly, his eyes still closed as he pressed his forehead to hers, "And to what do I owe the pleasure?"

Prudence had to mentally smack herself in order to not get sidetracked, he was so good at making her lose concentration, "Um, I just came to wait for you to finish..."

He could sense immediately that she had an ulterior motive. He should have known he wouldn't escape talking about that cunt Pansy...

Pru almost wanted to giggle. It was adorable how he saw right through her and gave her a stern look of disbelief.

"And?" He asked with a cocked eyebrow.

"And nothing," She shrugged as he let her feet touch back on the ground. He continued to look at her awaitingly. Her jaw dropped in mock offense at his accusatory stance. He was smirking at her and she realized she can't keep a ruse with him, if she had something to say to him it would always just come out.

Draco shrugged his shoulders then, took her hand casually and began walking toward the castle, "Ok, well then thank you, it was a beautiful sight to see after staring at Theo's ugly mug."

Pru bit her lip and let him escort her away. Shoot, he got her. She huffed stubbornly and pulled on his hand to put them both at a halt. She tried not to laugh at his raised eyebrows as he obviously awaited for her outburst, "Ok fine!"

Draco smiled, relishing his tiny victory, and then asked, "How do you want to convince me that Pansy at the absolute most deserves your bitter pity?"

As expected, he was one step ahead of her. She sighed and looked at him pleadingly, "I just can't stop worrying about her..."

He hated that those were the words that came out of her mouth. Damn her planet of a heart. He took a deep breath as the anger that unexpectedly rushed though him began to subside. It's just... how could Pru possibly care at all for a crazy bitch that tried to take her life out of blind hatred? "You can't... you can't care about her..."

Pru understood completely where he was coming from, out of concern for her, but still... "Draco I have seen her head, I've heard her thoughts... it's terrible Draco..."

Draco then heard the fear that was in her voice. He was only slightly relieved to know that it was actually terror that Pru was feeling, and not compassion. But why would Pru fear Pansy? He looked into Pru's eyes, his complete concern now was to make sure she was never scared. "She can't hurt you Prudence, why do you sound scared?"

Yes, it was impossible for Pansy to physically hurt Prudence, but the dangerous black thoughts in Pansy's head may try to hurt her in other ways.

"Prudence?" Draco was now feeling a bit eerie himself, how could his all powerful amazing girlfriend fear Pansy?

"Draco... we are... killing her..." Pru's eyes welled up with emotion, but she knew shedding a tear for Pansy would cause him to be livid, so she held it in. Still, her choice of words may have been enough to steam him back up. "I know Draco! I know she tried to kill me, but I sense something seriously disturbed in her and it's all directed at me! She'll only try again! And I get this feeling that she was kept at Hogwarts for a reason..."

Draco's brow knit together, "What? What do you mean, why would they do that? Pansy hating you is understandable, she's a retarded jealous twat, but keeping her in school after what she did? What possible reason is there?! If Sev wasn't my Godfather and I didn't already try to kill Dumbledore then I would go kill the lot of them right now!" During his rant of frustration he had begun pacing and running his hands through his hair. "Honestly! Are you sure? Of course you're sure!" Her senses were always spot on!

Pru wrapped her arms around his middle from behind and hugged him to her closely. She didn't know the answers either, they had to just be careful.

Draco calmed down once he felt her arms not only hugging him, but squeezing him tight. Her calmness mellowed him out and he let out his deep frustrated breathes for a few moments before his lungs evened out into a slow rhythm. Finally he asked her, "So what do we do about this?"

Pru still didn't have an answer, so their walk back into the castle was quiet as they both contemplated.
