Against his sister's wishes, Bellamy did not talk to Clarke that night of the victory. He understood why she made the decisions she made but was still upset over her risking the life of his beloved little sister. A week had passed and Bellamy and Clarke had not exchanged two words since that night.

After dinner, Bellamy went to find Clarke. It was time they talked and fixed this because whether they liked it or not, they needed one another.

Bellamy found her in her tent. When he entered, Clarke stood from where she sat, shocked by the person she saw before her. "Bellamy? What are you doing here?" she asked, a worried look present on her face.

"I had to come and talk to you. I have calmed down, spoken to Octavia and had time to think about what you told me that night by the fire," Bellamy started. Clarke waited in anticipation of what he was going to say next. 'What is he going to say? What could he possibly want to say to me? That he wants nothing to do with me after today?' she thought to herself, panicking on the inside, her heart racing with wonder.

Bellamy gestured towards the bed, implying for them to sit down. Clarke obliged without a word. Bellamy sat down next to her and turned to her.

"First off, I forgive you. I forgive you for not warning the others. Not warning Octavia," Bellamy continued. "It is only fair. When I had my monstrous moments, you forgave me. You comforted me. You were there for me." She stared at him, trying to comprehend where he was going with this. "I cannot pretend that I don't need you, Clarke. I do need you. You are the only one who can stop me from doing horrendous things, you are the only one who can always make me smile, you are the only one who can always comfort me. You are my co-leader. You are strong and you make me strong. You make me better." He paused, waiting for her to process what he was saying.

Clarke opened her mouth as if to respond but no words came out. She couldn't believe he was actually sitting here, forgiving her. It was all she wanted, his forgiveness. She opened her mouth again, hoping the words would pass over her lips. "I need you too, Bell. More than you know. I couldn't jeopardize you. Not for anything," she said quietly as she stared at her hands.

Bellamy reached over and took one of her hands in his. Her eyes shot up and looked at him in shock. She quickly recovered, realizing just how much she was enjoying the feel of his touch. He stared deeply into her crystal blue eyes and could see that she was holding back. "I know there is more on your mind, princess. Out with it," Bellamy quietly demanded with his trademark smirk plastered on his face.

Clarke swallowed hard and hesitated to explain herself further. She gave in, though she was terrified of how he would react. "Bellamy," she said, holding his gaze, "I couldn't risk you because I did not want to lose you. I cannot lose you, I refuse to." She paused and took a deep breath before continuing.

"I love you, Bellamy," she finally confessed. "I love you and I can't even get over the thought of having to go one moment without you. Like I told you before, I was starting to believe that love was a weakness and that is why I let you go. But love is not weakness. And the mission, no matter the outcome, was not worth the risk. It was not worth risking your life. It was not worth the…"

Before she could finish, Bellamy's lips had crashed into hers in an unexpected, but passionate, kiss. She didn't hold back and neither did he. Their tongues soon found each other and the kiss deepened. Bellamy laid them down of the bed and then broke the kiss that had been full of longing and desire. He pulled one hand up and caressed the side of her face, staring into her deep blue eyes. "I love you too," he whispered and he felt her breathing a quiet sigh of relief before pulling him into another desire-filled kiss.

Clarke intertwined her fingers in his dark brown curls and pulled him even closer. Bellamy didn't resist. Instead, he deepened the kiss and started to caress the length of her body. He wasn't going to stop this. He wanted this and so did she.

He flipped them over and Clarke was now on top and taking off her top and assisting him with his shirt. She kissed him again, and then trailed kisses down his neck, across his muscular chest, down his trained abs and down to the edge of his pants. He pulled her up and kissed her as he locked his fingers in her golden blonde locks.

He pulled away and looked at the blonde beauty on top of him. He admired her beauty and took in the scene. They never broke eye contact. Bellamy tucked a wild strand of her golden locks behind her ear and caressed her cheek. Her breath hitched at the soft touch and Bellamy smiled, knowing the effect his touch had on her. She smiled and before kissing him again, she breathed "You have no idea how long I have waited to do this."

The famous smirk returned to Bellamy's face and he responded by kissing her fiercely. Against her lips, he responded, "I have a pretty good idea, princess." He could feel her smile against his lips and he pulled her closer.

They quickly got undressed and the feel of each other's naked body almost drove them both over the edge. The two made passionate love that night and for the first time, slept in the arms of the person they loved the most in the world.

The next morning, Clarke awoke first. She blinked a few times, taking in the sight of a naked Bellamy in her bed. He looked so peaceful and she thanked whatever god was out there that he was alive and well and in her arms. She admired the torso of the muscular man that lay beside her. She almost felt drunk with a mixture of love and lust. She pinched herself, making sure that this was in fact reality. She kissed his forehead and Bellamy stirred. He blinked at the brightness of the morning and smiled when he saw his love lying next to him, smiling.

"Good morning, princess," Bellamy said with a smirk. Clarke playfully slapped his ripped chest and laughed as she replied, "good morning, my king." Bellamy laughed and pulled her in closer. He kissed her forehead and took a deep breath, while trying to figure out how he could possibly love this girl more than he did at that moment.
