Set After I Do
"Did they... Do you know if they slept together?" Jeremy asked. Sasha sighed on the other line and bit his lip. Did he really want to let his brother know the truth? Jeremy had told him all about the kiss and Kurt ignoring him after and it just wasn't right. Still, if Jeremy asked, then he owed it to him to tell the truth, right? On the other side, Jeremy closed his eyes. That was all he needed to know. Sasha's silence had said it all.
"Jere, you two never were official, right?" Sasha asked.
"No. We weren't," Jeremy muttered.
"Then it'll be okay. They just slept together. That could be a good sign. Kurt might not even want to take Blaine back," Sasha insisted, trying to make everything better. He knew that no matter what he said, Jeremy was going to be upset. It just wasn't fair for Kurt to play with his brother that way.
"I'll be okay, Sasha. I have to go," Jeremy stated and then hung up. He laid down and groaned. What was he thinking, believing that the kiss between him and Kurt actually meant something. It was just one, stupid, in the moment kiss. You should know better than to think someone could actually like you. Jeremy groaned again at the voice and heard the door to his apartment open. He stayed laying down and there was a soft knock on his door.
"Jeremy? Am I allowed to come in?" Elliott asked. Jeremy gave him a grunt in reply and his best friend walked inside. "Don't do this to yourself. That guy was a jerk for leading you on like that."
"It was one kiss, El. It's not like it really meant anything to begin with," Jeremy said. Elliott sat down beside him and Jeremy automatically laid his head in his lap.
"He still kissed you and then without any sort of word, he leaves you and has sex with someone else. You can look at it any way you want, but it's a huge jerk move," Elliott told him. Jeremy smiled a little.
"It came back," he mumbled after a moment of silence. Elliott nodded and ran his fingers through Jeremy's hair.
"Do you need me to stay?" he asked. Jeremy gave him a very slight nod, but he understood. Elliott was the one person that Jeremy knew he could count on and he was happy to find someone who understood him.

"Are you sure it's okay for you to go back to work? I mean, if you had another attack, then you really shouldn't be going," Elliott said as he tugged on his clothes. Jeremy rolled his eyes and laid his head on the table. He sighed and sat down next to him. "You know I worry about you, Jeremy."
"Don't. I don't need you to worry about me," Jeremy stated, sitting up.
"You need someone to worry about you," Elliott said and then left. Jeremy hung around his apartment for a little while and then went to work. When he walked in, his assistant came up to him with a worried expression.
"I was told by Elliott I needed to watch you. What happened?" Angel asked. Jeremy smiled.
"Nothing. Elliott is over reacting. The guy that I've been telling you about went back home and hooked up with his ex. It's really nothing serious," he replied. Angel gave him a weird look, but didn't continue on with the topic.
"Should we work on inventory before it gets busy? That's usually something we get really behind on," he said. Jeremy smiled and nodded. They worked for awhile before they heard the door open.
"I'll go tell them we're not open. You make sure this gets done, okay?" Jeremy said and then walked out to the front. "We're still clo-" He stopped as soon as he saw who had walked into his store and tried not to go back to the office.
"Jeremy, I know Sasha told you. Can we talk please?" Jeremy set his jaw and tried to come up with an excuse to get out of talking to Kurt Hummel.
So I had to finish watching season 5 before I decided where I wanted to go with this story. I know exactly where I want to go now and you guys will love and hate me. I've decided on what I'm going to do about the Finn situation and I'll be introducing two more characters to tie into this story. There is Angel, who was introduced here, and the other won't appear until much, much later in the story. Without giving too much away, just know this story will follow most of season 5 and you're going to hate Kurt, Jeremy, and Sasha at times. Jeremy and Sasha more so if you're a Klaine/Blaine fan. I've said this before, but I'm going to say it again as a warning, I do NOT ship Klaine nor do I really care much for Blaine. I won't bash him, but I won't write him out of canon to make him look better.
