Ally's POV
It's been a week since the whole Erika incident happened. Austin did end up calling the cops. Erika is now living with her aunt in Virginia. Lauren and Shane had no idea that Erika did all of this. They were sad that Erika had to go but, they understood. They are still really good friends with us.
That incident with Erika messed Austin up. He is a little less open and it's just complicated. He can trust me though. And he knows that.
"Austin?" I ask.
"What is it?" Austin said.
"Are you scared that Erika will get revenge?" I say.
"A few nights ago, I had a dream that she broke me and you up. She told you that you weren't worth living. That you were a mistake worth dying. So you did die. I was so update and lost my mind. I lost a girl that I care about. I eventually ended my own life to join you. I couldn't live my life without you. And now, not in dream world, I can't live my life without you. I love you, Ally." Austin said.
"I love you too." I say. We kiss. This is what love feels like. True love.
The Next Day Monday Ally's POV
I hate Monday's so much. At least Austin said that during lunch he had a surprise for me. Can't wait.
"Alexis, what is the capital of Nevada?" Mr. Jason said.
"Carson City." I say.
"Correct. Victoria what-" I just tune him out. That dream that Austin had. It's just too weird. I know that it wouldn't predict the future. Could it? ALEXIS! You wouldn't kill yourself over a girl. That's not like you. Erika is gone forever. Hopefully.
Next class is science. Austin is sitting next to me. He tries to talk to me. I just ignore him. He know that something is wrong. Wanna hear what's wrong? I had a similar dream.
I am sitting in this room. It has vandalized pictures of me and Austin in it. There is a large sign that says, "Erika". It's Erika's room. She suddenly appears. Erika tells me that I'm worthless. That I mean nothing. That if I disappeared, the world wouldn't care. That if I were to die, Austin would just die with me. That we were never met to meet. Not even 6 years ago. I don't even know how she found that out. I notice that her hand is behind her back. Erika pulls out a big silver knife. And that's when I woke up.
I am breathing heavily. Why the hell did I let myself remember that?
"Ally, are you okay?" Miss Harrison said.
"Yeah. Perfectly fine." I lie.
Lunch Ally's POV
Austin isn't in the lunch line. He never packs so this is weird. What could he be planning? I sit at my normal lunch table. I just got hot lunch which was mozzarella sticks. Nothing special. Shortly, Dez and Trish arrive. All of a sudden, I hear a guitar play. I know it's Austin.

Austin finally makes it to our table. He stands on the abandon table that's in front of us. And sings that last line.

"I love you, Alexis. Enough to do this." I join him on the table for a kiss. The whole cafeteria is looking at us. I don't care. I feel safe and out of harm. When I'm with Austin. He's my protector. From anything.
