Previously..."I never learn lessons.I never will." Myrdin yelled back.

"Yeah we'll see about that!"The man threatened as he grabbed the royal brander out of the fire from crossed the ,s/he did it now,he was going to burn her.S/he could feel the magic wanting to react to this new treat but s/he kept it at bay knowing no good would come from using magic in Camelot.

"Arthur~" Merlin whispered as she gets burned for the twentieth time.S/he continued to whisper the spell that would hopefully wake the prat of a king,prince whatever! "Vigilaveris atque adepto custodes.~"*

"Are you praying?Or cursing me to a horrible demise?" Asked the corrupt man smiling wickedly.

"Neither,I am simply wishing for my brother's friend to get here quickly so I don't have to deal with the smell of your breath any longer!"

"You still want to burn I could always go to the king saying you were using sourcery,then you'd really burn."

"Go ahead ya bastard!"

"Oh, I will but not till I had my fun first!" The man said chuckling evilly.

"What type of fun would that be?" Asks a new voice from the can't see who it is but would know that voice anywhere.

"Nothing you old man!None that concerns you anyway!" The man spat as he pushed the old man to the ground and walking back to Merlin.

"And how would you know that it does not concern me?After all this girl is my ward and is ..."

He was interrupted by Merlin screaming of pain as another burn was added to not her back this time but the side of her collar bone.

"Stop it!Stop that this instinct!" Yelled Gaius as he jumps up to grab the man.

"No Gaius!Stop he'll only hurt you!" Merlin yells but it's too late the man struck Gaius with the branding iron and Gaius crumpled to the ground like a sack of flour.

"Gaius!" Merlin screams but no use he didn't wake up.

"Oh,look at that I must have killed him." The man said with a shrug.

"YOU BASTARD!YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" Merlin screams with rage as her bindings broke.

"What!? How the hell?! You have magic!?" The man stuttered shocked.

"You could have hurt me all you wanted,You could have killed me for all I cared,but you do not hurt my friends or my family." Merlin said deathly calm. "I will kill you for that." He added as the man started gasping for when the warning bells went off telling him that the severing girl had gotten the King.

Arthur entered the stables came in to see a broken Merlin standing over a half dead man gasping for breath and Gaius crumpled on the ground.

"Merlin!" Arthur screamed as he noticed that s/he was the one causing the man to slowly die.

"Merlin stop!"

"Why?! He Killed him!He killed Gaius!" S/he reported tears streaming down her face.

"Okay, but what happens when he dies you'll be the same as him."

"I-I,I need to lay down." Merlin says as s/he crupals to the ground exhausted.

"Garuds bring him to a cell and I will deal with him later." He says pointing at the looking at Merlin and Gaius he says "I will bring the girl to the infirmary. Someone grab Gaius and bring him there as well."

Everyone unaware that Merlin's eyes lit up gold making sure Gaius stayed alive.

*Literally translates to Wake up and get the guards.
