OH MY GODS IM SO SORRY. I meant to update I really did, I swear. But then school started and tuition started and CCA started and-and I really wanted to do a good job writing this as I had to rewrite most of it and-and suddenly I'm up to my eyeballs deep in homework and-and this year I'm Sec 3 (MY MAJOR EXAMS ARE NEXT YEAR!) and-and now I only have Sundays free and-and IM HAVING A MAJOR MELTDOWN PEOPLE! I'm so sorry but I've really been so stressed, I have a CCA open house this Saturday (I'm a student councilor AND I'm in band so that means I'll be dividing my time between practicing, performing and ushering for the whole of Saturday) I have a Literature test this Friday and I have a science test next week and SCHOOL HAS JUST FREAKING STARTED. So please, forgive me if I don't update as frequently, I swear it's not because I'm lazy. I'm really just that busy. Again I'm sorry and I hope you enjoy this chapter and please leave a review, but before that a little summary to jog your memory...

So, Ikuto, Kukai, Nagihiko and Kairi were warned by Hikaru that something big is about to happen to them and in the last chapter the four couples finally meet, some had pleasant 'first' meetings, others didn't. Ikuto is puzzle by who the mysterious pink haired girl in and why she seems to know him when he doesn't recall ever meeting her and now he finds out she is in his class. All in all it's been a hectic day and it only 8 in the morning.

Chapter 4: Do I Know You?

Ikuto's POV

I watched as four girls sauntered into the room one after another, they walked with obvious confidence, like they knew they had the undivided attention of the room, they were all pretty, I guess, but the one I couldn't take my eyes off was the girl with pink hair. She was so familiar, I know I've seen her at one point in time, but nothing came to mind, it was so annoying, like having a word at the tip of your tongue and yet not knowing what it was. And what was with her reaction just now? She knew who I was and yet I don't have a single clue who the hell she is.

I growled in frustration and after a few more minutes of racking my brain I decided to try a different approach. Carefully summoning up my powers I began gently probing her aura, trying to get a feel of it. However, as soon as my aura touched hers, her golden eyes snapped towards me, her gaze became ice cold and just like that, her aura vanished. She gave me one last hard look as her sharp gold eyes pierced my shocked blue ones before turning to the front again, a blank expression plastered on her face, like the last few seconds didn't happen.

My head spun, how on earth was she able to do that? There was no way a mortal could hide their aura, unless, she was an Angel? But only the most powerful Angels could hide their aura so unless she was one of the Divine Angels she couldn't have hid it from me.

I pondered on that thought for a moment before brushing it off. No way one of the Divine Angels would be here in Seiyo High, I was probably just tired from the chase and my powers weren't working properly and she probably one of those humans with that weird sixth sense thing and thus she knew I was probing her aura.

Just then, the girl with brown hair introduced herself, breaking me from my thoughts, "Good morning everyone! My name is Yuiki Yaya. I'm 16 years old and I love anything that is sweet or cute! I hope you like the candy I gave!" she was smiling happily at the class and just before she retreated to her position she gave a toothy grin in Kairi's direction.

I smirked to myself, well this could be interesting.

Then, the petite girl stepped forward and said monotonously, "Mashiro Rima, 16 years old. I like people who can make me laugh and I hate people who think I'm younger than I actually am," she was glaring full force at Nagihiko's direction and I choked back a laughter. It was her first day here and she had already blacklisted him, well, this was new.

Next, purple eyed girl stepped forward and said her voice clear and almost sing song, "Hoshina Utau, 16 years old. I like ramen and challenges," she smiled challengingly at Kukai who grinned back just as fearfully and I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

Finally, the elusive pink haired girl stepped out and spoke in a very bored manner, "Hinamori Amu, 16 years old," she turned at glared at me hatefully one last time before sauntering back into her position with the rest.

By then, rumors of the four girls were already flying around the classroom at rocket speed and I swear, they were the most ridiculous rumors I've ever heard.

"Ne, ne, I heard Yuiki-chama's parents own a worldwide renowned plush and candy store!" one said.

"I heard Mashiro-sama mother and father are a well known business man and women!" another supplied.

"I heard that Hoshina Utau's mother and father were singers and actors and that she is going to become like them plus be a model!" yet another one added fuel to the ever growing fire.

"Did you know? Hinamori-san's mother is a famous magazine writer and her father is a gifted photographer (A/N: yeah I'm just copying from the original here! Ran out of ideas...)." the final one said, and the rumors spread on and on, snowballing as they went.

I sighed, not really paying attention to the fuss anymore, trying to recall where on earth I'd seen the pink haired girl. But, just as I thought I was getting close to something the teacher said a sentence that would either make or break my day.

Amu's POV

I sighed, there go the rumors again. Most of them weren't true, to start off, we don't even have ANY parents, so how can they be famous journalists and god knows what? Plus I heard rumors going on about me having a boyfriend and whatnot, so not true at all.

This day wasn't looking very bright and to top it off with a nice cherry, why the hell was that guy here? I don't check up on the school that I am attending ONCE and I already bumped into trouble on the first day!

I was in an extremely bad mood right now and the girls must have noticed it cause they tried their best to not disturb me.

"Un, Yuiki-san you will sit in front of Tsukishiro-san over there. Tsukishiro-san can you please raise your hand?" the teacher instructed.

A girl with black hair and sky blue eyes raised her hand and smiled at her new partner.

"And Hoshina-san and Mashiro-san will you'll please sit at either side of Kirishima-kun? Kirishima-kun please raise your hand," she said.

A boy with maroon hair and brown eyes blushed and raised his hand up, his gaze not one leaving Rima.

Poor guy, he's crushing on Rima. He better be prepared for the worst because Rima is infamous for breaking people's hearts. It's not like she wants to be so blunt but rather it's just that she doesn't know how to put it nicely.

"Finally Hinamori-san you will be sitting next to Tsukiyomi-san," the teacher's clear voice rang, jerking me out of my thoughts and into reality with a hard landing.

Sit next to HIM? Of all people in this entire freaking class you choose him?! I just met this teacher and I already don't like her.

I strolled to my seat trying to act as casual as possible. I sat down crossed my legs and folded my arms lightly. I could practically feel Ikuto's stares burning a hole in my skull.

Finally, I couldn't take it any longer, "Would you stop staring at me?" I hissed to him, making sure not to yell and attract more unwanted attention from my new classmates. My voice was low and fearful but a smile was plastered in my face so nobody would think anything of our conversation.

"Why? A little self-conscious now are we?" he asked mockingly.

A vein pulsed on my forehead and my fist clenched into balls, ready to whack his face.

He smirked at the reaction he was getting from me and chuckled. I fumed silently, trying not to cause a scene, this jerk hasn't changed even after a few millenniums of not seeing him! I forced my smile wider and pretended I was really enjoying the conversation when in fact I felt like slapping that grin right of his face.

"Shut the hell up Tsukiyomi-san," I said through gritted teeth.

He just chuckled again, "Whatever you say Amu~"

"Don't call me that," I growled, but really inside my stupid traitor of a heart was doing gymnastic routines at the sound of my name coming from his lips.

It's been too long, way too long.

Then, his face turned dead serious and he asked the question I'd been dreading to hear, "Amu," I unconsciously stiffened up when he said my name name, "Do I know you?"

I sighed inwardly; I knew this question was going to come up sooner or later. I wanted to tell him the truth so badly, but I couldn't.

Putting on my best poker face, I replied, "No. You don't."

Then, I dropped the subject and refused to talk to him for the rest of the day and directed my attention to the teacher.

Ikuto's POV

When we started talking it seemed so natural to tease her and rile her up and watch as something sparked in her eyes. Also, I don't think she noticed, but when I said her name her face turned as red as a tomato, a very amusing sight really.

But, I didn't really think about it because as soon as her name rolled off my tongue, something clicked inside of me. I had done this before, I had said her name so many times, I don't know how I knew but I just did, she had been someone very important to me, but who?

I immediately stopped laughing and looked at her carefully, "Amu," I said feasting her name on my tongue again and was shocked by the sheer familiarity of it, "Do I know you?" I demanded.

As soon as I said those words her face became blank again, the blush disappeared and the fire in her eyes died, "No," she said curtly, "You don't," and with that she turned to face the board again, ignoring all my tries to get her attention.

Finally I frowned and gave up. Pestering obviously wasn't going to help but I knew something was going on and I was going to figure out what it was if it killed me.
