Ahri's eyes felt so heavy. When she finally got them open she immediately shot up. The air was a thick fog. The last think she remembered was those terrifying red eyes.
" Oh god... Am I dead?" Her words rung out to nothing. The air seemed so heavy as well.
"No, child you are not dead." Ahri's ears perked at the sound of the man's low voice.
"Where am I?"
"You are in my world. Where I dwell. Now enough of your questions. It is time for mine. How did you get here?"
"I don't know. Who are you?"
" I said no more of your questions!" The man's voice deepened and was filled with rage. "If you are here then you are special to me somehow. Rise."
Ahri stood up right as the man finished. As if though her body knew his command before she had heard it. A black shaped appeared in the dense fog.
"Young one. I must ask. Have you a soul of a human or a fox?"
Ahri's skin went cold at his last word. How did he know she was part fox?
" Child please I said no more questions. I can smell the fox on you. I know for a fact there are no foxes here."
"I never said anything..." Is he reading my mind? Her head swirled , how could someone read her mind she thought.
"I am the oldest being in existence child. I could kill you with the wave of my hand. Now come closer."
Ahri started to walk forward against her will. The black shape started to gain features. When she was close enough she saw everything. It was a man. A old man. His hair was like slat and pepper. His beard white as snow. He was sitting up on the ground. A sword sticking out of his back. The hilt was ornately decorated. The blade had runes in the middle. The runes looked like ones scribed onto her arm before a match. Except she could only read partial words. On such word was death. It stood out to her because it was glowing.
"Ah, as I thought. Hello Ahri. You look quite lovely today. Did you brush your tail this morning like usual?"
Ahri stopped in her tracks. The man had a smile on his face. Blood was running down his face from a gash over his eyebrow. Blood slowly dripped from his chin. She could see a little line of it coming from his mouth as well. She shook away her shock and rushed to his side. Her fingers lightly brushed the skin of his cheek. Cold as ice.
"Oh my god. Are you okay? Do you know if the sword hit anything vital?"
"Ha ha ha." The mans soft laugh startled her. "Oh how I missed your voice. I am dying. I must admit its not the way I wanted to go, I thought that maybe another 50 years would be no big deal but you know what. It was a long 40,000 years. I think its is finally my time."
His blue eyes softened. Making her heart weep for the old man.
"Your joking right? 40,000? That's old as dirt. Not a single being has lasted that long. I would know too. The League is pretty big history buffs you know."
"Oh child, you know nothing. I have a favor to ask of you." As he spoke a low grow came from the dense fog. Ahri's heart dropped. The same golden eyes of the wolf appeared again.
"No. No. No!" She stood up and put herself between the man and the wolf. This time she could make out everything about it. What she didn't expect is how big it was. The thing was huge. Gargantuan to be exact. It was easily bigger then a horse. It's fur was pure black. It's paws were as big as her head. The fangs got as big as Rengar's knife. She had no hope to fending this thing off. Then she notice it. Its paws left a black flame on the ground. The flame looked as if though is absorbed all the light around it. She felt the air grow denser at every step it took. This creature of death was truly terrifying. The wolf stopped. It begun to snarl.
"Ah, so he has come for me." The old man coughed out behind her.
Ahri turned to see the mans blue eyes begin to glow. They were like a summers sky. Bright blue and truly awe inspiring.
"What are you talking about old man? This thing won't be having anyone today. I will make sure of that."
"Ha! I see you even have some spunk in you still. Well little fox. I must say it is awfully brave of you to say that but I am afraid I am going with that wolf there."
" What! No you can't. I have too many questions for you to die on me."
The old man smiled and raised his hand to her. She keeled down and as his hand touched her face his body started to fade away.
"No!" Ahri begun to cry as his smile grew larger as she started scrambling to get a hold of him. She tried to anchor him. Then the last of his face vanished. Leaving only the image of his bright blue eyes and smiling face burned into her mind. Then the wolf behind her growled. She turned frozen in place. It slowly walked to her. A snarl growing on its face.
Right as the wolf was four steps away her eyes shot open.
