Let me know what you think. I saw a prompt on Facebook that had this on it, seemed interesting enough. I know the grammar is horrible right now, but I'm just trying to get an idea on if anyone finds it interesting. :)
DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the Supernatural characters. I do not have contact with the show. This is for pure enjoyment.
"Ava…" Dean whispered into her ear. "Stop this, listen to me. You aren't living your life. " he paused and took a deep breath. This was all new for him. Caring about someone other than family. "Ava, Cas believes he finally figured out a way to get through to you. Remember me. Remember Sam and baby. Remember fighting for the family business. We need you. I need you. I'm sorry this happened, I'm sorry I wasn't there to stop this. Just remember okay?" He squeezed her hand tightly.
"Anything?" Sam asked handing Dean a cup of coffee.
"No. Is this a good idea?"
"You love her don't you?"
Dean sat there silently. Love her? Of course he did. How could he not? She fought with them, helped them, and even found someone for Sam to fall for and not end up in heartache.
Sam took his silence as a yes. "Yes Dean, it's a good idea. Cas won't do anything that would hurt or jeopardize you or Ava."
Dean nodded and stood up, he paced the room a bit, before stopping at the window. "It's been months. How do we know she's even still alive?" he asked getting frustrated.
"Because I know." Cas said entering the room with a young woman behind him.
She immediately walked over and kissed Sam.
Dean turned to face Cas. He always felt a connection to Cas.
"And you are sure, she will remember me?"
"Nothing is a sure thing, Dean." Cas answered.
"Alright, well how does this work?" He questioned.
"Stand next to her and hold her hand. I'm going to transport you into her coma, just like I do when I transport you through time."
Dean nodded and walked over to Ava, taking a hold of her hand. He quickly pulled out the Impala key and tossed them to Sam.
"No Ipod Taylor Swift crap."
Sammy smiled.
That was the last thing he remembered.
Dean woke up on the ground. It was cold, January perhaps? He glanced around and got up slowly. "Where the hell…" Then he saw her. Ava was standing by a vendor in the park arguing with someone else. He didn't want to spook her, so he walked closer trying to hear what she was saying.
"I'm telling you Lynn, it's real! It's all true!" Ava exclaimed.
"Ava, you're being crazy. It's a show. A stupid, made up t.v. show. Stop obsessing over it."
Ava groaned throwing her hands up frustrated. "No, you are wrong, and I will prove it to you."
"I'll see you later." Lynn walked away from her.
Ava stood there staring after her.
Dean quickly took advantage of her being alone. "Ava…" he questioned walking up behind her.
Ava spun around and gasped.
