Chapter 7

A/N: Sorry for mistakes.

Santana had to wait until Monday to find out if her life was truly ruin.

After her talk with Quinn and Miss Del Monico on Friday during the Car Wash fundraiser, she went to the clinic by herself only to find out that it was already closed and would be for the rest weekend.

That meant she had to wait two more excruciating days.

In the beginning she was anxious to find out but those treacherous long two days gave her time to think, which was, in this case not a very good idea.

Not only was the wait making her go insane but she had to walk the halls of school another day on Monday, acting like nothing was wrong.

Which was hard to do.

Especially around Brittany.

But she had manage to get through the day.

Santana had ask Quinn to meet her at the clinic for support, and also to stop her if she decided to bail, an hour after school because she had to drop off Brittany at home before she could head that way.

Quinn had showed up at the clinic before Santana and had no other choice but to wait for her friend.

After waiting awkwardly outside the building for an hour and getting sympathetic looks from everyone that walked past her, the blonde had called her missing friend.

Santana told her she would have reschedule because something came up but Quinn knew that the Latina was just scared to find out the truth and chicken out on her.

She decided to confront her the next day at school.

"What the hell, Santana?" Quinn said still annoy with her stunt yesterday when she spotted the Latina the next day at her locker.

"Calm down, Barbie." Santana said nonchalantly as she gathers her books from her locker.

"You stood me up. I looked like a fool waiting for you at the clinic." Quinn said agitated. "I was getting these weird looks from everyone."

"Wow, I'm sorry you felt like an idiot for an hour while I'm here scared to death." Santana glared.

Quinn sighed and mentally berating herself.

That was an moronic and insensitive thing to say.

"You could have called me." Quinn said a little calmer.

"I was planning to go. And then I couldn't find the courage. The next thing I know 20 minutes past and couldn't even get out of the driveway. I just sat there. Horrible thoughts just running through my head, non-stop. You don't know how hard this is for me Q." Santana ranted.

"Look, the point was to know exactly whats going on first and then freak out about it. You're freaking out now and you don't even know for sure." Quinn whispered harshly.

"You don't think I know that?!" Santana screamed at her.

Everyone in the crowded hallway jumped at her voice.

Quinn and Santana turned away from the row of lockers to find that everyone was now staring at them in shock.

Some are probably thinking the two girls were about to start with another one of their infamous fights.

It wouldn't be a normal week without one.

The two girls ignore them not before shooting them all death glares and went back to whispering again and everyone around them seem to lose interest or was scared to look their way again.

Except one.

Brown eyes were subtly searching for hazel ones while she listens to Finn's incessant ramble about football.

"Azimo and Karofsky are proposal..."

"Purposely." Rachel corrected automatically like she has done it a million times.

"Right...Purposely letting me get sacked. I don't know if I can handle another one..."

"Ah uh." Rachel nodded her head not really knowing what he was going on about.

"I don't want to be known as the quarterback who gets at least 10 sacks in a game. I'm also at risk in being injured then the scouts really won't even look at me, blowing any chances of scholarships."

Quinn had felt the brunette's eyes on her.

She realized recently that she was alway conscious of the girl's presence, it was almost as if she can feel Rachel. Quinn decided not she looked up from her conversation with Santana to meet Rachel's eye because she knew she would send a lovestruck smile and she didn't want to risk someone catching her.

"You understand? Right?" Finn asked finally looking down at Rachel.

Rachel broke out her dazed and looked up at her boyfriend.

"What?" Rachel asked not hearing anything he had said.

"I said I won't get any scholarships for college if i'm injured."

"Oh yeah." Rachel smiled reassured.

"So I can't really stand up to them anymore if they starts throwing slushies at you again." Finn said caressing her face gently.

He hasn't really stood up for her.

Rachel feign a small smile, forcing herself not to start an argument. Honestly, she was tired of putting an effort and their past quarrel never really got them anywhere. They were going in circles, apologizing for their bad actions only to repeat again later.

Rachel has also notice that his hands weren't soft like Quinn's.

They were always rough and slightly sweaty.

She fought herself not to cringed.

"I'm sorry." He apologized lamely.

"I'm not naive, Finn." Rachel said. "I know you can't stop them every single time. And you can't control how they behave..."

"I knew you would understand." He cut her off, knowing how easy she could get into a rant.

Rachel forced a smile on her face to mask her disappointment in her boyfriend.

"I'll see you later babe." Finn gave a kiss on the cheek.

Rachel grimaced inside and tried not to immediately wipe off the excess slobber he usually leaves behind.

"Wait...we go to the same class." Rachel went unheard as Finn was already down the hall.

Rachel looked back at the two friend who still look like they were in a heated debate.

She furrowed her brow.

What is going on between those two. She made a mental note to ask Quinn about it later.

Rachel shook her head and sighed before making her way the same direction Finn went.

Rachel and Quinn were on their shared free period and had made the auditorium their regular meet up place since no one usually comes here beside Rachel.

Quinn initially would have like to share their time making out but surprisingly she also enjoys hanging out with the tiny diva just as much.

Both girls were seated side by side, sharing the piano bench that always sat on stage, playing around with a bunch of songs.

It's strange how fast and comfortable they were with each other.

"There something I wanted to ask you." Rachel said turning her body slightly to face the blonde.

"Mmmm..." Quinn lighting letting her finger dance on the keys.

"What was going on between you and Santana this morning?"

Rachel felt the blonde stop her movements and all her muscle had tighten.

Rachel has noticed the sudden change in Santana and how the two girls were always off whispering to each other.

She had original thought that starting a friendship with Quinn might be a huge ploy that Santana had set up to embarrass her. She felt slightly guilty having doubts about Quinn but the blonde was also best friend with the girl who tormented and hated her more than anything.

Quinn gulped slightly.

She couldn't tell Rachel about Santana being pregnant with out the small diva questioning who the father is.

Guilt was settling inside her pretty quickly.

Quinn took a sip of water she had left on top of the piano.

"I mean I know you guys have a unique friendship and it's no secret you guys get into physical altercation but today you both seem tense. Probably the reason you wanted to meet me today to relief some of that tension. Which I don't mind at all. I really enjoy spending time with you and I'm rambling. I apologized. I sometimes don't realized how annoying it could be to others. And you should probably stop me." Rachel said nervously.

Quinn frowned.

Rachel looked like she has been berated before hand for her ramblings that's she is know for. Probably by Finn and she didn't like it.

She didn't mind Rachel's rambling.

She actually found it very endearing.

"It was nothing. She stood me up yesterday and I was upset about it." Quinn explained vaguely.

Rachel nodded slowly.

She knew that the blonde was not telling her the truth and she couldn't help but feel hurt that Quinn didn't feel comfortable to confide in her.

"You know despite you being HBIC of the whole school, you're a terrible liar." Rachel raised a challenging eyebrow.

Quinn paused for a second.

"You still don't think of me like that do you?" Quinn looked at her worriedly.

When she didn't get immediately respond she continued to try to convince her otherwise.

"Rachel I'm sorry for everything. And I know it's not an excuse but it was difficult for me when I realized I started having feelings for you. Well I didn't realize it at first, I just thought it was some phase where I was having inappropriate fantasy about you..and..." Quinn rambled.

Rachel face formed a small smile and softly interlaced their fingers.

"Way to channel me. If you keep that up people are going to realize you've been spending a lot of time with me." Rachel said.

It warmed her heart to see some of her personality was rubbing off of Quinn.

"I find your rambling incredibly adorable." Quinn said honestly.

Rachel blushed.

"That aside and the revelation that you have feeling for me is comforting and we will get back to that, but you Quinn Fabray are deflecting." Rachel smiled.

"I am not." Quinn defended.

"You are." Rachel said confidently. "You start playing with your fingers, you don't make eye contact, and you bite your lip. I know you're lying."

"How is that?" Quinn asked amused that Rachel has taken the time to learn her habits.

Rachel blushed as she realized she admitted to the blonde that she has been observing her actions.

"Have you been stalking me?" Quinn teased her with a glint in her eye.

"Just observing. Stalking makes me sound crazy and pervertive like Jacob Ben Israel." Rachel scrunched up her face in distaste.

Quinn mirrored her actions.

"Let's not talk about how much of a freak Jacob is." Quinn said.

Her time with Rachel was limited, so she didn't wanted waste her breathe talking about somebody else.

"Right. So back to the topic at hand. What were you and Santana discussing?" Rachel asked nervously.

"I told you." Quinn said firmly, hoping Rachel would drop it.

"Come on, Quinn. I thought you can trust me?" Rachel knew she shouldn't push the blonde, but she wanted the blonde to trust her.

Quinn sighed.

"Rachel..." Quinn knew the next thing she was going to say was going to be a lie. She didn't want to start their relationship with lies but it seem inevitable.

She had to kept Santana secret.

Rachel saw the blonde hesitation.

"Don't lie to me, please." Rachel begged.

Quinn didn't know how she got in this situation.

Santana and Finn were the ones who cheated and lied to their significant others.

Not her.

"Look, I can't tell you." Quinn finally said.

"Right." Rachel looked at her with disappointment. "I don't know why I thought we can ever be friends when you can't even trust me."

"That's not it all." Quinn argued.

She was getting upset that Rachel was questioning their friendship when she is the one with boyfriend. "And you want talk about trust. How about you're still with your boyfriend while hiding and kissing me."

"That's unfair." Rachel got up from the bench.

Quinn stood up as well.

"Unfair to who?"

"I'm sorry." Rachel looked down ashamed. "But I can't break up with Finn. He was the first person that pay any attention to me."

"He's a douche bag. He treats you like shit. And you just take it." Quinn argued.

"That is completely inaccurate and I don't expect you to understand my relationship with Finn. And let's not forget it that you have treated me horribly in the past." Rachel snapped.

"You're right. And I'm trying to apologize and change my ways. But you're not my girlfriend. What's his excuse." Quinn argued.

Rachel scoffed.

"I love Finn." Rachel said almost trying to convince herself.

"Now who's lying?" Quinn challenged.

Rachel huffed angrily and crossed her arms tightly.

Quinn sighed and rubbed a hand across her face.

"I don't want to argue with you. You know I have feelings for you and anytime we get to spend even a second with each other I am the happiest I have ever been. You make me forget about all the crappy things going on in my life." Quinn walks closer to Rachel reaching for her hand. "And then when our times ends and I have to see you with him. It kills me and it hurts twice as much as the last time."

Rachel looked in to blonde's eye and was overwhelmed how honest and beautiful Quinn is.

Rachel reached forward and her hand slipping behind the cheerleader's neck and her finger weaving through soft blonde hair. She gently capture her lips in a passionate kiss. Quinn wrapped her arms around the brunette's waist, pulling her body closer if possible. Quinn felt Rachel smile in the kiss and took the opportunity to brush her tongue and Rachel doesn't hesitate in parting her lips to eagerly meeting the blondes tongue with her own.

"Hey Finn," Kurt jogged towards the quarterback who was hanging by his locker, cleared from his team mates.

"Yeah?" Finn didn't recognize the boy.

"We are Glee together. I'm Kurt." Kurt introduces offering his hand.

"Oh yeah." Finn said remember seeing him at Glee rehearsals.

"So I know you having some trouble with some of the dance moves and I wouldn't mind helping you with that."

Finn frowned.

"I don't want to be mean but what does that matter? We won't win Sectional. I'm just doing this to play the good boyfriend to Rachel while hoping Glee goes down soon."

Kurt looked at him shocked. He wasn't expecting that.

The attractiveness that he found in Finn was all dissipating before his very own eyes. Maybe it was better that he admire the quarterback from a far and never have a conversation with him.

No. Kurt shook his head.

This was better.

"I agree with you that Rachel is very annoying and I understand your doubts but what we are doing is a good thing." Kurt argued.

"Tell that to my teammates. I've been their punching bag in the locker rooms ever since I joined that stupid club." Finn said tiredly.

Kurt felt sympathy for the boy.

"I don't want to sound like a jerk but everything is kind of getting to much lately. Football, Rachel, Glee, and at Puck's party I..." Finn stopped himself.

"What happen at the party?" Kurt interested piped up. He wanted him to piece together what Santana and Quinn were talking about at the Car Wash. He honestly had no clue what was going on but he knows something happened.

Finn closed his locker at looked at Kurt hesitantly before speaking.

"I haven't told anybody but..."

The bell rang interrupting the tall boy.

"Sorry. I got to go. We didn't have this conversation." Finn said before walking away.

Kurt sighed as he watched his crush disappear from the hallway. That was the longest conversation he had with Finn and it was overall awesome.

"I'm can't believe they didn't have any tots today." Mercedes angrily complained as she took the seat across from Kurt who was day dreaming.

Kurt was staring at the football team table at one particular person.

"Kurt?" Mercedes waving her hand in her best friend's face.

Waking up from his stupor, he caught Mercedes hands stopping it's motion.

"What?" Kurt said slightly annoyed.

"What's a matter with you?" Mercedes asked.

Kurt wanted to reveal to his best friend what he find out about Santana to Mercedes but he didn't know the whole story. Only that the Latina cheerleader might be pregnant. Might was the keyword. With whom he doesn't know. But he can bet it was one of the jocks. Probably Puck.

"Nothing." Kurt lied.

There's no evidence before he can start gossiping.

Mercedes sighed as she looked at her plate in disgust.

"It's probably Sue and the Cheerios that banned tater tots from lunch. It's almost like we live in North Korea."

"What!?" Mercedes said unbelievably.

Kurt shrugged.

"It's Santana. She's like the Satan's spawn. Maybe she's getting me back because she found out I did a youtube video of a tour of Satan's room. But I only got like 10 views from that."

"I wouldn't worry about it. I think there's something going on with her." Kurt slipped out accidentally.

Mercedes furrowed her brow in confusion.

"Like what? Is she carry an evil spawn?" She said jokingly.

Kurt's eye widen.

Mercedes mouth hang open in shock when she saw Kurt reaction.

"What do you know?" Mercedes accused. "And why haven't you told me? She asked with hurt evident in her voice.

"I don't know anything." Kurt lied.

"Kurt..." Mercedes sighed in disappointment.

After Santana had put ideas in her head the Kurt was gay, she couldn't help but wonder. But it hurt more to know that her best friend didn't trust or feel comfortable with her to be honest. And she could understand. Coming out is that individual's time and choice on how and when and who they want to share it with.

But now there's another secret he's been hiding.

She doesn't know what to think anymore.

Kurt could see the let down and disappointment in his friend's face.

"Okay, but you can't tell anybody." Kurt caved.

"Promised." Mercedes said wanting to get any dirt on Santana.

"Okay everyone settle down." Terri said as she walked into the choir room.

"Finally I have some good news today. We raised enough money to go to Sectionals." Terri announced.

Everyone cheered. Elated that they were finally moving forward.

"Yes!" Rachel smiled in her seat. She turned around to look at Quinn who was sharing high fives with the other Cheerio's with a smile on their face. Quinn looked at Rachel throwing her a subtle smile.

"Great job everyone. Especially the Cheerio's, they raised the most money."

Rachel rolled her eyes. But it didn't matter. They were going to Sectionals.

"Okay, we really need to get the routine on point guys. I think we have a solid chance of winning. Mike and Brittany lets help everyone with their dances."

Everyone got up from the seat and got into the position.

"Santana and Quinn can I talk to you guys in my office?" Terri asked as she made her way as the girls followed her.

Kurt watched observing them as Miss Del Monico closed the door. At that moment, he really wished he could read lips. Out of the corner of his eyes, he notice that he wasn't the only one curious of what the two cheerleader and Miss Del Monico could be talking about.

He frowned and them chastising himself from frowning knowing that he may have just created wrinkles on his forehead. He rubbed his head before giving his attention to Mike and Brittany.

"You didn't go?" Miss Del Monico asked.

"I wish I have never told you." Santana muttered while crossing her arms.

"But I'm your best friend." Miss Del Monico argue like it was obvious.

Quinn frowned and looked at Santana, who rolled her eyes annoyingly at that statement.

"We are going after school." Quinn said.

"I'll take you." Miss Del Monico said.

"No!" Santana objected.

"I'm going to make sure you actually go through with it this time." Miss Del Monico argued.

Quinn shook her head not believing that they got to a situation where Miss Del Monico is the only adult they can trust.

"Look, I'm sure Finn's swimmers are smart enough to get me pregnant. So I would appreciate it if you guys would just back off me." Santana told both girls.

Quinn and Miss Del Monico both looked down ashamed.

"I'm going after school by myself." Santana said before walking out of the office.

"Miss Lopez."

Santana sighed before standing up and walked towards the women who called out her name.

The women smile at her sadly and Santana sneered at her not liking the fact that someone is feeling sorry for her.

"If you just go in there and here is your cup." She said placing the sup in the brunette's hand.

Santana finally took a look around. She hadn't before because she was trying not to freak herself out. This place is awful. Nothing look sanitary at all.

"Whenever your ready." Santana looked at the girls nametag. Kimberly.

"Thanks." Santana muttered before entering the bathroom and closing the door behind.

Santana walked to the cracked mirror and stared at herself.

"Let's get this over with."

Quinn was tapping her fingers on the steering wheel waiting in the school parking lot. Santana had went to the clinic yesterday. The brunette had declined all her calls and ignored her texts messages.

She was waiting for Santana to show up. She usually parks right next to her in her designated Cheerio parking spot. Quinn sighed the bell was about to ring and Santana has yet to show up. She guess the news was bad and Santana was skipping school. Quinn had no choice but to make her way to class.

Half of the day has gone by and there was still no Santana. Quinn had asked Brittany if she talked to Santana but she just shook her head and asked her if she should be worry but Quinn managed to ease any worries the taller blonde had.

Before her last period and no word from the Latina, the blonde dragged her feet to her lockers. She saw Rachel down the hall who threw her a smile. Quinn managed to return the smile. Rachel was always able to brighten up her day.

Instead of heading to her locker, Quinn moved to walk towards Rachel's whose locker was just across from hers. She was risking the chance to speak to Rachel in public just so the brunette could make her day a little bit better.

Before she could make it to the small brunette, she felt excruciating pain as she was thrown into the lockers right in front of Rachel's. She barely caught Rachel's horrifying look and voice before she hit the ground.

She groaned in pain as she hit the ground.

Quinn looked up to see who pushed her and found the girl she was looking for all day. Santana looked pissed and she was confused as why it was all aimed at her.

She didn't get her pregnant.

"Santana! What the Fuck!?" Quinn said slowly getting up.

"Fight! Fight!" A student hollered causing everyone to surround to two friends.

"It was you!" Santana screamed before grabbing her hair.

"What are you talking about?" Quinn asked as she managed to push the Latina off of her but not hard enough to due any real damaged to girl who is with or without child.

"I thought you were my friend?"

Quinn could see tears forming in the brunette's eyes.

"I didn't do anything. I've been looking for you all day." Quinn fought back.

Santana didn't answered and started throwing punches at Quinn.

"Santana Stop!" Brittany yelled.

"You such a bitch! I should have known better to trust you."

"Stop!" Quinn said trying to block Santana's attacks. She didn't fight back as she didn't want to harm the girl.

Quinn grabbed both of Santana's armed and pinned her to the lockers, preventing anymore attacks.

"What is going on, Santana?!" Quinn asked.

Santana sighed.

"Sue Sylvester just kicked me off the Cheerios. She said someone anonymous told her about my whole situation."

"And you think it was me?" Quinn asked pissed off.

"Nobody else knew. I already confronted Miss Del Monico. But she needs me for Glee, so she would never do that."

"Fuck you!" Quinn angrily pushes away from Santana, letting her go.

"My life is ruin because of you. My dad is going to kill me!" Santana said before advancing towards Quinn again.

Brittany ran forward to Santana to stop her attack of the blonde. Rachel wanted to go over to Quinn but the head cheerleader gave her a nod that she was fine. Rachel sighed. Her heart was racing when she thought Quinn was hurt.

"Everyone go to your classes now!" Mr. Shuester finally showed up to stop the chaos, stepping in between to two best friends.

"What is wrong with you girls? Fighting? Santana, go to Figgins and Quinn you need to go to the nurse." Mr. Shuester ordered.

None of the girls moved or showed that they even heard Mr. Shue.

Just staring each other down, breathing heavliy.

"Let's go." Brittany lead Santana to Figgins office.

"Quinn, come on" Mr. Shue tried to grab the blondes arm to help her to nurses office.

Quinn shrugged him off her and walked the opposite way.

"I'm fine. I don't need to go to the nurse's office." Quinn said.

Quinn was so angry. She was conflicted right now because she knew that everyone was going to find out and she wanted to be there for support but she was so pissed off that Santana would think she would tell Sue.

What would have been her motive?

She just doesn't understand.

Finn was fidgeting outside of Figgins office waiting for Santana. The news has spread around school like wild fire and although he knows that Santana sleeps around, he had to make sure that it wasn't his.

"What are you doing here?" Santana asked coldly as she stepped out of the office to find Finn pacing. She was glad she told Brittany to go to class and not wait for her. Her punishment wasn't that horrible, just after school detention.

"Everyone knows." Finn said.

Santana tried to hide her emotions in front of the football player.

"I need to know if its mine, Santana." Santana has never heard Finn voice sound so serious.

"Leave me alone." Santana warned before walking away.

She had bigger problems to deal with than Finn Hudson right now. Her dad was going to kill her and she was thinking how she could run away to Canada. And then there was Brittany.

Finn grabbed Santana's arm harder then he intended to but it didn't matter to him at the moment.

"Let go of me right now before I make you regret it Hudson." Santana threaten.

Finn scoffed.

"You don't even know." Finn taunted. "You've been past around like a cheap slut, it could be anybody's bastard child."

A loud slap could be heard resounding in the empty hallway.

Finn has never been in the receiving end of Santana's infamous slaps. The rumors doesn't do it any justice. It hurt like a motherfucker. He didn't even see it coming, rendering him speechless.

He's well aware that he now has a huge red hand mark on the side of his face that will bruise.

"Fuck you asshole." Santana spat out before walking away.
