AN: So heeeeeeeyyy guys :D I know its, well, forever, but I'm here! I didn't realize that a month had passed -_-||| But now I'm sitting down and writing! :D I finally updated the cover :P I drew/painted it myself, so please excuse the ugly of it :D (It cant be that ugly though, because its Allen and Kanda xD ) So in this chapter Allen will be eleven and Kanda will be fourteen. We're almost to where they meet again! By the way, they don't know that they love each other yet xD This is a Yullen fanfic so they obviously love each other, so i'm not giving anything away by saying that :P Poor Allen will be tortured once again in this chapter :( But only for a little bit (though the damage will be there for a lifetime D': )

REVIEW REPLIES :D

Aliciel Le'Musicien Walker: I enjoy your name with a strong passion! :D And I'm glad you enjoy my story! And yes -_-||| I need a beta reader xD I'm good at picking out the mistakes of others works but my own... well you know!

Shirubagure: I see Leverrier as an essential character for the story, so he's okay! Though he's mean to Allen and everyone else his grumpy butt comes across, without him the plot wouldn't be where it is now! I love Narain with a passion C: And I'm not saying anything about the CrossxNeah pairing, but ets just put it this way... There's a reason Cross leaves in the later chapter ;D As for Tiedoll's death I haven't decided the meaning of it yet, it was for plot purposes though!

MaxAngelOfDeath: I'm sorry to say that I have failed you in updating soon! I hope a moth later will do xD

BTW This chapter will be kind of short! Sorry!

The Promise

Chapter 9: Going Wrong

Allen's POV

11 years old

I made my way through the halls of the castle with Tyki by my side. "Allen are you sure this is the way?" I nodded confidently, leading him around.

"Just one more left turn... here!" I opened up the door to find a lion inside. Our faces lost all color as the lion roared blowing our hair back with the force.

"A-allen..." Tyki said quietly, eyeing the lion.

"Yes, Tyki?" I laughed nervously, ignoring the current situation at hand.

"This isn't the secret poker room, is it." I was silent for a moment before the lion got up and lunged at them.

"Nope." Allen said quickly before grabbing Tyki's sleeve and running swiftly down the hallway.

"Allen we can't outrun a freaking lion!" Tyki's voice almost cracked. All I could do was laugh like a mad man.

"Of course we can!" I said happily and ran even faster. I turned down random corridors with the agility of a rabbit. Some time during the run Tyki and I were separated, the lion still chasing me. It started gaining on me so I stopped at the nearest door and attempted opening it. Just barely getting in in time to shut and lock the door I sighed against the door.

"Allen." Chills went down my back with the recognition of the voice. "I thought I told you not to come into here anymore." His vice was surprisingly calm. I slowly turned around, sweating immensely due to the heat in the room and my nervousness.

"I-i'm sorry Master. There's a lion outside the room! I'll leave immediately." I turned around and opened the door revealing a very angry lion. He roared and I slammed the door shut. "Say Master? Is there another way out?" I asked nervously.

"You let Stephano out of his room? Do you know how hard it was to get him in there?" An enraged Cross came stumbling towards me. With the huge fire place behind him he looked like a demon from hell. My eyes wondered to all the torture devices and I swallowed.

"I-I-i'll put him back! Please don't hurt me again!" Tears started to well up in my eyes, and he started laughing.

"You're putting him back anyways, but first a good beating is what you need!" He pushed me to the ground and I tried to scramble away. He yanked me back by my hair and kicked me in the stomach which led to a fit of coughs.

"I-i'm sorry.. please stop!" I said in between sobs. He just pounded on me even more. He dragged me over to his chair by the wall sized fireplace.

"I'll teach you to disobey me and let my pets loose." He snarled maliciously. As we got closer to the fire my body started to burn more. I started screaming loudly for help, hoping that maybe some knight in shining armor or even Tyki would come and save me. He threw me down into the fire. Before I could scramble all the way out he shifted his weight onto me trapping my left arm in the fire. I screamed in agony as the flames seared through my arm, burning it to a charcoal color. I continued screaming until the door opened and in came Tyki.

"Allen!" Tyki rushed over to me and Cross got off of me. As soon as he did I sprinted from the room leaving both men behind. Running as fast as I could to one of the few places I knew how to get to, the garden. I came upon the door ad threw it open with my working arm. Sobbing I ran into the confused Chouko.

"What happened?" She grabbed my arm and I was going to jerk back in pain but then I realized her touch had the opposite affect t hen I thought it would. Her touch was soothing. She ran her hands along my arm until didn't hurt anymore. "Can you move it?" I tried but had to shake my head no. "Who did this to you?" Anger flared into her eyes.

"K-king Cross threw me into the fire." I said while drying my tears. Just then I heard Cross screaming his head off and Tyki trying to calm him. I began crying again.

"Don't cry Allen! I'll protect you. Just go out the secret door and I'll stall them." She ran over to the door and slammed it shut putting a chair in front of it. "Go Allen!" She yelled as the door started getting pounded on. She threw al of her weight against it and her hands lit up a light blue. Somehow she was strong enough to hold him out.

"What about you Chou?" I said inching towards the door.

"I'll be fine, but my magic can't hold up much longer, just go!" With that I turned around and ran. I would have to question her about the magic thing later. While outside it started to rain and the pain in my arm was slowly creeping back. Minutes, hours, I don't know how much time passed, all I know is that my vision was getting blurry and my head was starting to feel foggy. Narain's place wasn't much farther though, I only have a little more ways to go.

Swaying, I slowed my jog into a walk until I was standing still. I tried to move my legs my they just kept getting more numb, as if I'd been sitting on them for days. My mind was telling me to sleep, but I had to keep moving. Though the darkness creeping up on me did seem warm and comforting. IT was offering the blissful world of oblivion. An offer that would be good to take right about... now.

Opening my eyes I saw a green half shirt right over my face covering a slightly pale body.

"Narain?" I asked with a rough voice.

"Allen! You're awake!" Narain hugged me with all his might.

"...Ouch... Na-rain.. I. can't... breath.." He let go and apologized.

"Sorry, I'm just glad that my first ever successful patient is okay! How'd you get that burn? It's really bad! I put some cream on it that heals it pretty well. Can you move it? That was a stupid question, of course you can't. Even if you could it's feel like you were being stabbed multiple times on the arm." Narain was talking ninety miles a minute. It was quite funny actually; it made him seem younger than he actually was.

"I was being careless and fell into a fire." I offered a bright smile to him. "Thanks for the cream, I hope I can move it soon!" I tried to move it when I said that and, well, it moved. Just like how I wanted it to. Narain and I stared at my arm in amazement/horror.

"H-how? How is that possible? You're arm still looks charred as the chef's cooked rabbit!" I just stared at my arm, moving it around, testing to see if it functioned properly, and function properly it did.

"Chouko." I whispered.

"What di you say?" He asked curiously though never taking his eyes off my arm.

"Nothing, I was just wondering how I could move it as well." He hummed in response.

"May I?" He gestured towards my arm. I nodded and moved it towards him. He ran his hands along it feeling it all over. It surprisingly didn't hurt a bit. The n he pinched me.

"Ow! That hurts!" I said pulling it back swiftly. I looked at Narain's face to see what had gotten into him and he was smiling like he'd just won the lottery.

"This is amazing! Revolutionary! I wonder what made it work so well again. It most likely wasn't the cream.. I tried putting it on m cut wound and it still took a day to scar up. Allen what did you do to it before you came into town?" I was about to answer, untruthfully at that but then Tyki burst in through the door.

"Price Allen are you alright?" Narain gaped at me.

"You're the missing Prince Allen? I thought the name was just a coincidence!" He said pacing the room. "For the past four days I've had a prince sleeping in my bed." He paused for a moment. I waited for him to yell at me for not telling him or for him to go all "ALL HAIL THE PRINCE" on me. but surprisingly he didn't. "That's so cool! My covers are royal now!" He said ripping the covers off of me a cuddling them. For a moment I sat there dumbfounded and Tyki looked almost angry at Narain's actions. Out of no where I started laughing. Narain stopped what he was doing and Tyki looked at me shocked.

"That was the strangest reaction I've ever seen to anything!" I just laughed harder as Narain's face got red.

"Hey! It's not everyday a prince uses your blanket okay!"

"On the contrary, according to you, I used your blanket today, yesterday, the day before, and the day before that." I smirked.

"Allen. I'm sorry to interrupt but we must go back. The king blocked all of the passage ways and even threw the girl into jail." I stopped laughing and immediately grabbed into Tyki.

"What do you mean threw her in jail? Why?" I searched his eyes for answers. But every time I look in his eyes, I always see something off. He's really kind to me, yet his eyes look as if their filled with evil, hate, and something else. It was similar to longing, but more... needy? Almost lustful.

"Because she was supposedly the one who injured the prince and them hid him away from the world; plus she engages in witchcraft. She is to be hung in five days time." Tyki said solemnly.

"B-but she didn't hurt me! That old man Cross did! Chouko healed me. She not a bad witch! Bad witches are nice to people! They don't brig flowers to life in their spare time!" Narain sat off to the side looking utterly confused while Tyki just grabbed me by the hand and led me to the door. "Narain, I will be back sometime, but for now I have to go save Chou-chan." He nodded still confused.

AN: The End! (of this chapter obviously) So all that was going to happen with kanda in this chapter was he was going to dream of allen burning at the stake and he was going to feel all guilty for not being able to help him and then train even harder :D If you didn't read this part shame on you! You missed what happens to Kanda when he's 14! Once again I'm sorry for updating so late! Please review, it really does make me want to update more! Also I apologize for the rushed ending and kind of cliffhanger, but I'm so tired! I've been up playing MMORPGs all weekend -_- I thought I was done with them for good a couple months ago, but then I watch Sword Art Online :'P Now I MUST play them 24/7! Also soon I will be putting up another Yullen fanfic! It will be waaaaay different from this one and will hopefully update faster! But I won't do that at least until Allen and Kanda meet up! The reason for my not updating recently is because I had to move... again. That's the fourth time in the past year! Speaking of which it's almost been a year since I posted this story! Wow I have made so little progress it's not even funny xD Anyways Good night/morning/afternoon/cheese! Wait, what?
