Pain. That was all she could feel. So much pain. It wasn't an instant death like she had hoped, it was long and excruciating. When Bianca volunteered to disable the automaton, she knew she was going to die, just she didn't think it would be like this.

Blood. Blood entered her vision and soon all the twelve year old could see was a cloud of red.

Twelve. Too young. Way too young to die.

Nico. Poor Nico. The brunette thought about her brother and hoped that he wouldn't blame Percy. She hoped that the son of Poseidon would succeed in bringing home the statue for Nico. It was the only one he didn't have. Hades.

Light. Bianca could see a light bursting through the red that impeded her vision. She thought her friends had found her, had rescued her. Instead as the light got brighter, she realized that her surroundings changed. Bianca was no longer buried under mounds of metal; she was surrounded by ghosts, spirits.

Pomegranate. The smell flooded Bianca's senses as she found herself being judged. Why pomegranate? All of a sudden, she remembered the myths, Hades. Persephone. The Underworld. It was too much, she could barely stand. As the line moved, Bianca could still remember who she was, and she was being shuffled towards a light.

Elysium. On her way, Bianca passed Asphodel and caught the eye of a dark-skinned girl, about a year older than she, who looked different than the rest. Elysium. It was wonderful. Families were reunited, people laughed. Not Bianca. The only person in the world who cared about her and whom she cared for was gone.

Gone. Nico wasn't gone, she was. Bianca had left her ten year old brother to fend for himself in the crazy, messed up world of myths above.

Pain. All she could feel was pain. It hurt; not physically of course, she had no body to hurt, but her soul. Bianca hurt Nico and now he would take it out on Percy.

Percy. Bianca hoped Nico could forgive him and grow close to him. As his only family, his only friend, Nico told Bianca everything. He loved Percy. Not in the brotherly hero worship that she had first assumed, Nico truly loved Percy. Bianca hoped that would work out.

Past. It was all in the past. In another world. Time to move on.

Good bye.
