Luigi and Dimentio
(It's been nearly a month with no update. I apologize for that. I've been incredibly busy working. Regular uploads will begin next year.)
Chapter 5: The Championship
Luigi turned on the terminal to set up the final fight.
"Hello again Mr. Plunger." The toad said. "Are you ready to take on the champ, Rawk Hawk?"
"Ready than I'll ever be." Luigi said.
"Okay, I'll send a guard to escort you." She responded. "It's her first day as a guard so don't mind her if she goes the wrong way."
They disconnected as the door opened. The guard was a short female, had blue skin, large glasses, a uniform and pink hair tied in a ponytail.
"Hello Mr. Plunger." She said.
"You." Luigi began. "You're-."
"Yes, I'm Nastasia." She said.
"But how did you even get here?" Luigi asked.
"I'm not entirely sure myself." Nastasia said. "But when I saw you, Dimentio, and that one person who looked like your counterpart, Mr. L, I knew you need help."
"Are you saying you're going to help me out of this?" Luigi asked with a smile.
"I've been helping you since you started this tournament." Nastasia said. "Did you honestly believe that a stage light would fall directly on your opponents in every one of your fights just by mere coincidence?"
"I just thought I was extremely lucky." Luigi said. "You're going to help me with Rawk Hawk, right?" Luigi asked.
"I'll do my best." Nastasia said. "Rawk Hawk is extremely tough. I doubt stage lights will do much against him."
"Then get me a power up." Luigi said. "A tanooki suit, a star, anything."
"Okay, I'll be throwing an item from the top of stage, be ready to catch it at any time." Nastasia said.
Luigi nodded. "Okay, now let's do this."
Back at the stands.
Ahahaha, it seems Nastasia is still alive and well." Dimentio said.
"What?" Mr. L asked. "How would you know that?"
"My eyes in the sky." Dimentio said with a smile.
"Welcome, everyone!" The announcer yelled. "This here is it, the title match! Rawk Hawk Vs. The Green Plunger!"
The crowd began to roar with excitement.
"Give it up for the champ!" The announcer yelled.
Rawk Hawk came from the door on the right and made his way to the arena. The giant monitor behind the arena showed Rawk Hawk from all angles.
Rawk Hawk was a buff, yellow hawk who wore a black mask and the champ's belt.
"How are you feeling today champ?!" The announcer asked.
"I feel ready to RAAAAAAWK!" Rawk Hawk yelled.
"That's great to hear!" The announcer yelled. "Now give it up for the challenger!"
The crowd roared as Luigi made his way to the arena from the door on the left.
"How are you feeling Mr. Plunger?" The announcer asked.
"I'm feeling fine." Luigi responded. "I've had a few headaches but I've taken some medicine-."
"Get on with the fight!" One of the viewers yelled.
The crowd roared with excitement once again and the bell had rung.
"Bring it on plunger boy!" Rawk Hawk yelled, taking a fighting stance.
Luigi also took a fighting stance. "That's plunger man!"
"Oh yeah, like that's any better." Rawk Hawk said.
A mega mushroom had fallen smack-dab in the middle of the arena. Luigi and Rawk Hawk looked directly at each other's eyes and to the mushroom and back to each other.
"Hey, Rawk Hawk." Luigi began. "Before we start killing each other for that mushroom, I just want to say you remind me of a super hero."
"Hawk man, right?" Rawk Hawk asked.
"Uh huh, sure." Luigi said. "Now can I ask one more thing of you?"
"Ugh, what is it?" Rawk Hawk asked with a groan.
"Look at the stand, back to me." Luigi began. "Now look back at the stand, back to me! I am not your fans, I'm trying to win. Look at the mushroom, it's gone, I ate it, and there's not a darn thing you can-." Luigi fell to the floor, paralyzed.
