Chapter 11: Shadow Match
"Can I take this stupid dress off now?" Luigi asked.
"Yes of course." Dimentio responded, facing a wall.
Luigi tore off his dress and began to stretch his legs.
Dimentio turned to Luigi, revealing a crack that was located on his forehead.
"Good Grambi, what happened to you?!" Luigi asked in shock.
"Never mind what happened to me." Dimentio stated. "Your next trial is another battle."
"Oh great." Luigi sarcastically said with a sigh. "Who am I up against this time?"
"Us." Mr. L standing behind Luigi.
Luigi turned around to find Mr. L standing next to shadow versions of O'chunks, Mimi, and even Dimentio.
"I have to fight all four of them?!" Luigi asked.
"At the same time." Mr. L added in with a grin.
Luigi gulped.
"I've been waiting a while for a moment like this." Mr. L said, cracking his knuckles.
'I might not be done for.' Luigi thought. 'I have experiences fighting and observing each of them. I just ave to use my knowledge of their attacks. First target, Dimentio's shadow. Once he's done, I move onto O'chunks, then Mimi, then Mr. L. Alright, all planned out. Moving out!'
"Begin!" Dimentio announced.
Shadow Dimentio began teleporting across the room, Mimi transformed into her spider form, and O'chunks and Mr. L charged towards Luigi.
Luigi tried to catch up with Shadow Dimentio as Mr. L and Shadow O'chunks were chasing after him.
Once Luigi caught up with Shadow Dimentio, he jumped toward him and jumped on his head repeatedly, causing Shadow Dimentio to fall to the floor and to disappear.
'One down, three to go.' Luigi thought, ready to take on O'chunks.
Shadow O'chunks grabbed Luigi by his legs and began to swing him around while accidentally hitting Mr. L multiple times with his counterpart.
"Watch it, you brainless moron!" Mr. L yelled.
Shadow O'chunks stood still while facing Mr. L all while holding Luigi over his head.
"What?" Mr. L asked.
Shadow O'chunks threw Luigi at Mr. L and began to attack both of them.
The two of them jumped out of the way and Luigi began to continuously jump on Shadow O'chunks' head. After about seven consecutive jumps, Shadow O'chunks disappeared.
"What gives, Dimentio?!" Mr. L asked. "I thought you said these clones were on my side!"
"I said no such thing." Dimentio responded with a giggle.
Luigi turned his attention to the transformed Shadow Mimi.
'The Princess easily took her down.' Luigi thought. I can see why, she leaves herself wide open for attacks.'
Shadow Mimi looked like a giant black spider, making even Mr. L a little uneasy at the sight of it.
Luigi began running toward Mimi and jumped on her head, removing one of its eight legs.
"You're not going to stop him from defeating the last shadow?" Dimentio asked.
"Nah." Mr. L responded. "These clones are just getting in the way."
Luigi had taken shadow Mimi's last leg off, causing it to fall to the floor and disappear.
"Well done." Mr. L said, walking towards Luigi while clapping his hands. "now it's just you and me."
Luigi's eyes were fixated onto Mr. L.
'No items on hand.' Luigi thought with a worried look. 'But I can't lose here!'
