Chapter 16: Pondering Thought
Luigi's fingers and eyes began to twitch and he quickly woke up, finding himself in the Flipside Inn and noticed that he had two tubes in each of his arms that were supplying necessary nutrients into his body.
'I'm back?' Luigi thought. 'I'm finally back?' He looked out the nearest window. 'It's night time huh? Hehe, figures. The day I get back and I can't see the light of the sun.'
Luigi slowly began to feel more in control over his body with each passing second and was finally able to move his fingers, though for a short amount of time before losing his energy.
'I've completely forgotten how it feels to move.' Luigi thought with a smile, letting out a tear.
'Well, isn't that precious?' A voice asked in Luigi's head.
'What? Who said that?' Luigi thought.
'The one and only!' The voice said. 'The pleaser of crowds, the master of dimension! It is I, Dimentio!'
'How are you still here?!' Luigi thought. 'I saw you disintegrate!'
'To tell the truth I'm the only a fragment of Dimentio.' He said. 'And it just so happens that I'm the fragment that holds the knowledge of the Pixl Prejudice.'
'So I guess this is what he meant when he said he would tell me later.' Luigi thought.'
'Affirmative.' Dimentio said. 'Once you view the history, I shall disappear.'
'Good.' Luigi thought. 'The last thing I want is you trying to steal my body again.'
'Would you like to view the history?' Dimentio asked.
'Later.' Luigi thought. 'I want to see my friends first.'
'Very well.' Dimentio said. 'Let me know when you wish to view it.'
'Will do.' Luigi thought.
Luigi patiently waited for morning to arrive. The Innkeeper had arrived and was very surprised to see Luigi awake and immediately went to Merlon and Nastasia.
"He's awake?!" Merlon asked. "By the stars! Nastasia, contact everyone and tell them the good news. I shall go to the Inn."
"Of course, sir." Nastasia said.
Merlon quickly made his way to the Inn.
