Two Months later
Christian POV
It had been two months since I had my face off with Hyde and Linc. Two months since I had proposed to Ana, and I had finally gotten her a ring that I thought was worthy of being on her finger. She objected to the ring, of course, simply because of the prize. I wished that she would understand that I enjoyed spoiling her, and loving her. Over the two months I had explained Elena to my family, and what happened between her and I. My mother hated Elena and informed me that I was not going to ever see her again. That made Anastasia happy. I walked in to see Ana sitting on the couch watching a movie, and I smiled. "Well, don't you look relaxed?" I was actually a little jealous.
Ana turned to look over her shoulder meeting her blue eyes with my grey eyes. "Come join me?" She raised a brow, as she saw the amount of paperwork in my hand. "I think we've earned some relaxing time."
I looked down at the amount of work, and figured that it could wait. I pulled Ana close to me, and kissed the top of her head. This was the woman that I was going to marry soon, and I had unfortunately told Mia she could plan the wedding. "I did it," I informed Anastasia. "I told Elena that our business together was over."
Anastasia sat up focusing her full attention on me, and fought a smile on her face. "You really did?" She questioned, but continued on. "How did she take it?"
The idea of the conversation made me scoff. "It went real well." The sarcasm oozed out of my tone. "She blamed you, her ex husband, and had the nerve to call me a whipped pussy." She had included other words, but that seemed to be the most common that she repeated.
Ana laid her head on my shoulder, as we had been working on the touching. "Well, I'm glad that she's not in your life anymore. I never liked her, Christian." Ana admitted, turning her attention back towards the movie. "I'm glad that your mother and I finally got you to break ties with that woman." She mumbled, and yawned.
I raised an eyebrow at Ana. "You two worked together on this didn't you?" I should have known that Ana and my mother had teamed up to get rid of Elena.
"Yeah we did." Ana admitted, and watched me with a careful eye. "I don't really care if you're mad, Christian. It's for the best."
My mouth fell open at her statement as it had shocked me. Over the time that I had known Ana she was becoming this confident woman. I started to laugh at her. "Well, Ms. Steele, you never seem to stop surprise me." I kiss her on the lips. I deepened the kiss, knowing that she was safe and mine. "I love you, Anastasia."
"I love you too, Christian." She replied, and kissed me deeply. She pulled me on top of her. "Make love to me, Mr. Grey." She whispered into my ear.
I kissed her running a hand down her body. Making love was a new concept but there was no one that I would rather do it with. "It will always be you, Ana. Always and forever. You make feel not so 50 shades of fucked up." It was true, I didn't feel so messed up when she was around her.
"Always and forever, Christian." Ana repeated the words back to me. It felt as if it was a perfect ending.
Two years later
Ana and I had been married for one year now, and I couldn't be happier. Elliot and Kate were now in the process of planning their wedding. We had finally gotten to a good place. Jack and Linc had both been sentenced to 10-15 years in prisons for various charges. I had wished for more, but they both took plea deals. I walked into the bedroom to see Ana sitting on the edge of the bed holding her stomach. "Baby?" I raised an eyebrow, walking over to her. "Are you sick?"
Ana shook her head no. "No, Christian, I'm not." Her voice was soft. She reached down and pulled out a small object. "I'm pregnant, Christian. We're going to have a baby." She watched me with curious eyes.
"We're what?" I asked her, surprised at the amount of angry in my voice. I watched as Ana's eyes flashed with fear, and I felt bad. I sat on the other side of the bed not wanting to be touched. How the hell was I supposed to be a father? "How?" Was the only words that came out of my mouth.
"Christian, you know how babies are made." She watched me. "Please talk to me?" she was pleading.
"I'm scared, Ana. What if... What if I turn out like my mother?" I was talking about my biological mother. I had told her bits and pieces over the years.
"Oh, babe," Ana replied, and crawled over to me. "Grace was a wonderful teacher, and so was Carrick. They are your real parents, Christian. You will be a wonderful father. I wouldn't lie to you." She took my hand. "Always and forever right? That's what we promised each other. Trust me okay?"
I sighed softly as she knew the words that were my weakness. "Always and forever." I gave her a light kiss on the forehead and then bent down to her stomach. "Always and forever." It was a new start to something completely scary and wonderful. Maybe I would finally get my happy ending.
