No comment on the horrible lack of updates.

The fog was everywhere.

Wherever he looked it was there, hiding everything underneath a blanket of white, except for himself. But the longer he watched, the more certain he was that something was out there. An eerie feeling passed over him and he shivered, suddenly certain something was watching. A sudden disturbance in the fog instantly caught his attention, but he only saw a hint of a dark shape before it dove back into the mist. slowly he started moving backwards, away from where he last saw the shape. Something brushed past his leg, slicing the skin. He jumped forward, hissing in pain. He spun around, again only catching a glimpse before it vanished out of site.

He turned in circles, trying to decide which direction would be better for him when he heard a whisper. He strained his ear, trying to decipher the message. It took him a few moments to realize that what he heard was not a language he understood. He turned his head back and forth, his attention divided between the thing in the mist and the whispering which was no longer whispering as much as speaking. He realized that while the voice was growing, the mist was darkening, and the furrows of movement became more pronounced. He backed away wincing as the voice rose again, becoming painfully loud. Almost at the same time, the mist darkened again, becoming almost black. He saw something burrowing through the mist, heading towards him much faster than he could run. bracing himself, he closed his eyes just as something collided with his chest, knocking him onto his back. The weight of the thing on his chest slowly lifted, and he chanced a peek through clenched eyelids. A leafy hut swam into view. He swiveled his head, and saw Sylwanin in a bed next to him. He smiled as fatigue overcame him, and he was swept into blissful sleep.

Hopefully this somewhat makes up for the lack of posting earlier (Sorry!)
