"I don't like you!"
Shirahoshi blinked. She felt tears springing up to her eyes.
"Man, you're such a crybaby," Luka whined. "A coward too. Hey, I'll call you that. Coward."
Shirahoshi's tears sprung out, no matter how much she tried to hold them in. "You really need to fix that," Luka commented.
"I-I'm sorry, Luka-sama!" Shirahoshi apologized through sobs.
When Luka began calling her Yowahoshi because "she's not as big of a coward as I thought", she felt so happy that she made Luka proud. She also learned that she's a friend of Luka's, and not just some other being she's met, because Straw Hat promised her that one day, she'll show Shirahoshi a real forest.
And Shirahoshi swears she can see the sun.
