Iceburg could only stare at the young man sitting on his chest.
Nico Jay... the boy he had wanted to meet for so long.
"I did this... because I am worthless, and those six must leave this island safely. I made a deal that if I came with CP9, they'd let Luka and everyone leave safely."
Jay lowered the pistol that was aimed at Iceburg's head.
"But I know that they won't listen to me. Chopa will miss her friend, and Sana will lose one of her two 'loves'. Luka will be very angry that I didn't say anything. Sora'll be glad I'm gone. Usa won't be able to believe it and I'm sure 'Mizou will cry."
He allowed himself to smile just a little bit, as if reliving the past adventures.
"And I don't want to leave. But I have to, so that they can live." Jay's smile disappeared, and grief washed over his eyes, as if he were remembering a painful memory.
Iceburg didn't know what to say. "It's... it's all right."
