Aokiji's bicycle glid over the ocean, slowly freezing a pathway for it to go over. The Admiral's mind liked to wander during these times, when he was alone.
Sometimes, they wandered to Nico Jay.
Aokiji would tell people he hated him and warn them of the dangers of that man, and yet, he couldn't truly hate him.
After all, he could only think of him as the little boy on Ohara.
Speaking of Ohara, he thought to himself as his bicycle's wheels turned and turned. Like the ocean beneath him, memories of the burning island rolled through his mind. They were all terrible in their own rights, but one moment in particular stood out to him.
"Ice Time Capsule."
Perhaps that day, Aokiji froze Nico Jay's heart without realizing it.
