Sara's Secrets

A/N: this is the first story I started and my beta that I had for this story has not gotten back to me with the next chapter that I sent her a year ago so I am not using a beta anymore so updates should come faster now. I have a few chapter written and I will be putting them on here pretty quickly. I am asking you to forgive the long wait and if there are grammar or spelling mistakes to please forgive me. After I put on what I have already written I will still try to update this story regularly. Please forgive the long way and would you please read and review if you are offended by rape and molestation please do not read this story it has graphic rape and molestation scenes

Chapter Five

The next day Nick woke up to the smell of coffee. He got up and put on his clothes from the day before and went into the bathroom. He came out of the bathroom and headed to the kitchen where Sara was. He walked in to see Sara with a spatula in her hand.

"What are you making, babe?" Nick walked up to Sara and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hey Cowboy. I know how you like omelets so that is what I'm making. I also have garlic bread warming in the oven."

"How long have you been up?" Nick wondered aloud.

"About an hour is all."

"How did you sleep?" A worried Nick asked, she didn't wake him up last night so he wondered how she slept.

"Like a baby. I sleep so much better when you are here."

"No nightmares?"

"No baby, no nightmares." Sara informed a relieved Nick, Sara said happily flipping the omelet over. She took the garlic bread out of the oven where she had warmed it up and took the bread over to the table and sat it down on the table. She walked back to the stove and took the omelets off the burner and took her spatula and flipped them onto a plate as Nick watched her awestruck.

This beautiful woman was his. Nick was thinking. Sara was so beautiful inside and out and he got to wake up in her bed after he held her all day while they slept. Nothing sexual happened but Nick was happier that he had ever been. Nick was thinking this and had the biggest smile on his face.

"What are you smiling about?" Sara was curious what made him have that big of a smile on his handsome face.

"You, I was thinking about you, how nice it was to hold you in my arms all day as we slept and how much I enjoy having the right to kiss you, the fact that you are my girlfriend that you chose to be with me."

"Oh, Nick that is the sweetest thing anybody's ever said to me."

"I meant every word of it Sar."

"I know Nick, that's why it meant so much to me because you do mean it." Sara walked over to Nick who had a cup of coffee in his hands and took the cup from him and sat it down on the counter and kissed Nick passionately, they finally pull apart when breathing through their noses becomes difficult. "Let's eat. I'm hungry."

"Okay Sara." Nick took his cup of coffee and hers that was sitting by the stove and carried both cups over to the table. He put the coffee cups down and took the plates out of Sara's hands and set them down on the table and held Sara's chair out for her.

They ate and talked all through the meal; they are comfortable with each other; after all they had been best friends for a little over four years. After they ate Nick asked Sara "Would you like to go to my house so I can shower and change my clothes and then we can go grocery shopping so I can have a drawer of meat here and you can have a drawer of vegetables at my house?"

"Nick you also need flour and some other things if you want me to cook for us at your house. I enjoy cooking and now that I have someone to cook for I want to."

"Whatever you want Sara we'll get." Sara and Nick do the dishes and then head for Nick's house in his Denali.

Nick drove to his house and unlocked and opened the door letting Sara in first and told her to look in his kitchen and make a list of what she wanted from the store.

Nick hurried up in the shower and then he got dressed, fixed his hair and went to find Sara who was sitting on the couch watching the discovery channel. He walked up behind her and put his hands on her shoulders and rubbed her shoulders and neck causing goosebumps on her skin.

Sara finally asked Nick if he was ready to go, they only had a couple of hours before work so they needed to get going. They left Nick's house with the list and a little over an hour later they walked back in laughing and joking and flirting with each other. They put the food away and when they were ready to leave Sara stopped Nick and asked him a question. "Nick would you like to bring some of your clothes and stuff over to my house?"

"Sara do you really want me to or do you really think it is too soon?" Nick's worried that she only asked because she thought she should not because she wanted him there.

"I want you to Nick. I sleep better with you there. I haven't slept as well as I did last night in a very long time. I feel safe when I am with you. I want to be with you I know we've only been together a short time but I don't care. We have known each other for over four years. I think it's about time considering how well we know each other; so no I don't think it's too soon." Sara anxiously waited for Nick's answer.

"I'd love to Sara, I'll go get some clothes and other stuff I need to have with me." Nick had the biggest smile on his face at thinking that Sara was as serious about them as he was.

"Do you need some help?" Sara was nervous about this but she knew this was what she wanted. She wanted Nick with her.

"No, but I want to clear some closet room for you to hang up your clothes here too. I want you to be comfortable here and have whatever you need here too. I want to get you a set of keys to the house for you too."

"Nick, you sure you want me to have a set of keys to your house?" Sara didn't want to pressure Nick into anything he wasn't ready for.

"Yes, I want you to be able to come here whenever you want. I want you to consider this your home. I want you Sara, in every part of my life."

"I want to get a key for my apartment to you too. I want you to have it so you can come over whenever you want. You will always be welcome there. No matter what, I want you to be comfortable there too and have what you need." Nick kissed Sara with all the love he felt for Sara.

They broke apart and Nick went in his bedroom and packed a suitcase with his clothes and toiletries and once finished went out to the living room where Sara was with his suitcase hoping it wasn't too much which it wasn't according to Sara.

They drove to Sara's apartment with the groceries that they bought for her apartment and she makes room in her closet for his clothes and makes room in the bathroom for his shaving kit and other items. They put the meat in one of the drawers for Nick. They sat and talked about rather they should tell the team that they were together. They decided to tell them because Warrick, Catherine, Greg, and Brass would be hurt if they didn't tell them. They didn't know how Grissom was going to react but Sara really didn't care she told Nick. They sat and talked kissing every chance they got. They just wanted to be with each other. They called out for Chinese food instead of Sara cooking because they were running short on time. They ate and they decided to take separate vehicles to work. They left a little early so they could get keys made for each other's place. They wanted to be together and that is what mattered to them. They arrived at the Crime Lab and parked and held hands as they walked to the door but let go of each other when they entered the crime lab, too soon for their liking.

Grissom saw them pass by and called out to Sara. "I need to talk to you Sara for a minute come in and close the door please."

Sara was in shock Grissom had been ignoring her for a while and now he wanted to talk to her. She told Nick that she would meet him in the break room after she was done with Grissom; she would put her things away and meet him there.

Sara walked in and Grissom told her to close the door, so she closed the door and wondered what Grissom wanted. She didn't have to wait for very long. Grissom took a deep breath and said "Sara would you like to go to dinner with me?"

"Like a date?" She wondered what he was talking about.

"Yes a date. Would you go to dinner with me?" He said biting the bullet. "I know what to do about this."

"I'm sorry Grissom but when I told you, you would be too late well you are. I'm seeing someone and it's serious."

"Who is he? Is it Nick?" a flabbergasted Grissom asked. She Said NO!

"Yes it is." Sara told him the truth.

"You better watch it Sara he has a reputation. He will only hurt you." Grissom sounded jealous because he was but he had no one to blame but himself. He had waited too long. He loved Sara.

"Don't you tell me about Nick, you don't know what he is like with me. He makes me happy. I haven't been happy in a long time and I am not going to give that up; not for you or anyone." Sara was angry at Grissom for saying those things about Nick; she walked out of his office and slammed the door behind her.

She went to the locker room and put her things away and put on her badge and gun and walked to the break room where she knew Nick was.

Warrick and Nick were discussing a game of some kind. Nick poured her a cup of coffee when she entered the room. Warrick thinks nothing of it but was shocked when Sara lightly kissed Nick. He's even more floored at what Sara said next. "Thanks, baby." Warrick mouth dropped open and he looked like a fish gasping for air.

"What happen with Griss, darlin'?" Nick wanted to know completely ignoring Warrick's reaction to what Sara did.

"Oh he asked me out for dinner."

"What!?" Nick exclaimed.

"You have nothing to worry about I told you I want to be with you not Gil Grissom."

"What did you say?" Catherine who was standing in the doorway with Greg behind her was shocked to hear what she was sure she heard. "When did this happen?"

"Recently, we have started dating. We are together. Everyone better get used to it; because we are staying that way." Sara told a shocked room, Catherine, Warrick and Greg are very shocked they thought she loved Grissom. Greg left the room at hearing this news. Greg had wanted Sara for himself and now she's with Nick. He didn't understand how that had happened. Greg went back to his lab heartbroken forgetting about the coffee he was going to make.
