The first thing Izaya noticed when he woke up, was not that the birds that refused to sleep and would sing through the night, he'd learnt to tune them out without a second though really. It wasn't the burning sensation against his face. He had became accustomed to waking up in pain. It wasn't that new.
The strange thing was that someone was in bed with him, holding him close to their large chest. He could feel their breathing against his neck and it made him shiver from the sensation. The person was half naked, only wearing a pair of boxer. Izaya turned to see Shizuo peacefully sleeping beside him, snoring ever so gently.
He watched as his face screwed up and he let off a small groan before his eyes slowly fluttered open, "Damn birds. Piss off," he was quickly met with ruby eyes and he smiled softly before touching the non-swollen side of his cheek. "Good morning," he whispered his voice a little crisp from mo speaking in so long.
"Thought I sent you home," Izaya enquired sitting up in the bed. Shizuo pushed him back down softly before getting up and going round to his side of the bed and kissed his cheek softly. Izaya closed his eyes to the comforting touch of his lips and turned his head so he could get a peck on the lips. Shizuo complied with his wish and gave him a soft and gentle kiss on his lips before ruffling his hair softly.
"I didn't want to leave you alone and I've kind of grown accustomed to sleeping in your bed beside you. It makes me relax more, having you around," Shizuo let of a large chuckle before taking a seat on Izaya's bed as his face fell into a scared frown. Shizuo laughed again and took Izaya's hand before messaging it softly, "You used to be what caused me stress...never thought I'd be saying that being with you relaxes me. If you told my 16 year old self. Well maybe not you...I may have punched you but if I did...he'd laugh and turn away and tell me to 'piss off,' that as well as punch me and maybe blush,"
Izaya laughed and brought Shizuo to kneel in front of him while he kissed the scar on his chest before running his tongue down the scar, "I think my younger self would have loved to know that in the future, I'll have someone to sleep with, to talk to and to do things like this with. It would have made him feel so much more secure and I'd probably would have tried to pursue you earlier," Shizuo crashed their lips together in a passionate kiss.
Izaya smiled as they kissed then pulled away to touch his soft abs that rippled gently on his chest, "For someone so strong, I'd thought you'd have more abs," he kissed his left peck softly before resting his head against it.
Shizuo laughed and felt something furry against his leg and turned to see Sena sitting on his leg. She purred and ran between his legs and sat on Izaya's crotch, "I need to head to work. I'll see you tonight and I guess we'll continue yesterday's talk later on tonight," Izaya nodded his head.
"I'm sorry about yesterday. Right now in my life, you are one of the most important things to me. My virginity can suck it. I have you and I'm happy," Shizuo smiled and kissed Izaya's swollen cheek.
"I should apologise too. I'm sorry that I punched you. I feel horrid. I really am sorry, but I need to head for work. See you later," Izaya kissed his lips and allowed Shizuo to get dressed and headed out the door, Sena walking beside him, refusing to leave his side.
It was lunch time and Izaya too was working in Ikebukuro, he got a few glares from strangers as he walked around in a black hoodie and had a large swollen cheek and eye. He was tapping things into phone as he followed one of the many mafia group.
He got his information on the male and decided to walk around until he found Sabaru with the rest of his gang chatting and having a sandwitch. Izaya walked over after being summoned by Sabaru. He walked over and he was handed a sandwich and a seat beside him. The van's side door was open and Sabaru sat there with Izaya while Erika, Walker and Kadota in front of them on a bench.
They were all looking at Izaya with funny faces, "Where your usual jacket?" Erika asked in delight, "Did you just have sex and you and your boyfriend swap jackets," Izaya glared at her before biting on the sandwich slowly.
"I don't have a boyfriend you creepy otaku. This is my own jumper. I haven't healed yet from the wheel and my fur trimmed one is to heavy for my back," he explained simply.
"What happened to your back?" Kadota asked looking at him in confusion raising a bushy eyebrow.
"The new years plane crash. I and this other kid, named Luca was the only survivor. Fuck...here," Izaya got out his phone and showed Sabaru and Kadota the video off him on the plane. He kept the sound low as he spoke about his girlfriend Shizu-chan.
When the plane crashed both gasped and the video skipped to Shizuo saving him, "He saved you?! Wow," The next video came on and it was Luca thanking Izaya for saving him, "You saved the other survivor. Do we even know you?" Sabarou laughed then touched his cheek.
"It's due to work. Some angry parent punched me," he lied badly and continued to nibble on his sandwitch which was rather nice but he wasn't going to voice his opinion. He just sat quietly and watched as a black cat came bounding over, meowing like it was crying. Izaya smiled allowed the cat to eat the tuna from his sandwich.
"Izaya? What happened?" The said male looked up to see Shinra in front of him staring at his swollen face. He rushed over scaring his cat and forcing Sena to hide under the van while Shinra inspected the swelling on his face.
"Izaya. That isn't right. He should do that," Izaya bit his lip.
"A punch is more natural than what you are going to put me...us through. Who gave you the rights to do such a thing!" Everyone turned to see what the ruckus was about but moved on with their life.
"I'm sorry. But it was you who put yourself in this position. I never forced them upon you. So take some responsibility,"
"WHY SHOULD I TAKE FUCKING ANY! YOU ARE A SICK FREAK! I don't want it," he whispered the last part into Shinra's ear so they wouldn't hear what he was on about, "Get it out of me. I want to abort this child. Throw it down the toilet. I don't care," Izaya broke down into tears as he spoke.
"You can't," Izaya was about to respond when he was forcefully turned and brought into a chest. Straight away he knew who it was and cried heavier into his arms, but he never hugged him back, as it would bring some suspicion. Sena crawled out from under the van and climbed up Shizuo's leg and sat in his trouser pocket, since she was that small.
"Thought your cousin told you to stay in bed," Izaya shook his head and rubbed his face against his shirt. Shizuo looked up to see a startled Erika and Walker along with a fake confused Kadota and Sabaru, "I'm dating Izaya's cousin. And the two are seriously close...so we've kind of became friends. That is until Izaya goes back to being a dick and ruining my life. I'm gonna take him back to mine,"
Shizuo put Izaya's hood up as he took out Sena and put her on the ground and allowed her to walk under his feet, he took his hand within Izaya's and headed back home. Sabaru got a confused look from Erika and Walker, "Why'd you invite him over. He makes everyone's life terrible," she snarled which was very out of character for her.
Sabaru shrugged then looked to the couple walking away. Once he had found out about Izaya, he saw him differently, he wasn't just some psycho who loved to manipulate people for his own entertainment. He was something else, he blushed, he got scared and hid behind Shizuo. Shizuo and Izaya are also in a relationship which felt strange and heart warming.
"We spoke the other day. He's not quite that vicious. Just now, he protected a child, endangering his own life for someone he barely knew. Why?" He asked Erika feeling irritated on Izaya's behalf. The other reason he wanted to be closer would be that Izaya would be in the same boat as him, both male mothers having given birth to their child. He would have someone to share his experience with and to someone who understood his pain.
"Izaya is manipulative. He's only pretending to be nice to Shizuo. It's harsh but he is. He doesn't care for his well being at all. In a few months, Izaya will jeapordize Shizuo's life causing him to be even further in debt," Erika growled back.
"No!" Sabaru snapped, "He's different. He's not manipulating Shizuo. I know he isn't. Kadota you were with me, what did you think?" Kadota bit his lip, he had witnessed Shizuo and Izaya kissing and it seemed genuine and just now, Shizuo was comforting him when he was crying.
"I would like to hope that he isn't manipulating him. He's seems like-" Shinra took a deep breath before pulling out his wallet and took out a photo. Walker looked at it with a frown.
"Who's the fat kid?" He asked laughing at the fat small boy.
"Who are the other two?" Shinra asked instead and Walker looked to Shinra.
"Easy, that's you and Shizuo. You were childhood friends," Erika peered over her friends shoulder and looked at the fat boy. She bit her lip shaking her head.
"The obese boy is Izaya. All three of us were childhood friends. Izaya had saved Shizuo's life then took a heart attack. He was then admitted to fat camp and they never saw each other until high school. Now Izaya hardly eats. The sandwitch you gave him, he would have puked that up...he didn't mind giving it to his cat, he didn't want it. Shizuo has been helping him with his bulimia...that and Izaya is cutting Shizuo on his cigerettes...that as well as he payed of Shizuo's debt," Shinra explained taking a large deep breath before glaring at Erika.
"Izaya is not some machine that manipulate others. He wants attention. He wants to be noticed. He wants a real friend. He now has one...don't ruin it," The underground doctor hissed to Erika specifically before walking away in anger.
Erika looked down and watched as Rei walked over to them and sat down, "Heard what Shinra said and I must say other than Sabaru and Kadota, I'm disappointed in you. You don't know him in the slightest. I've grown up with Izaya and he's not some manipulative person. Did you know that his fur trimmed jacket makes him feel secure without it he feels unprotected. That he can't sleep without clothes or covers or he'll catch a cold. That he loves his sisters. That he hates sweet food. That he cherishes his new cat. That all Izaya wanted out of high school was for some girl to confess to him and they'd have a happy life together," Rei hissed before taking Hiroshi's hand who stood behind quietly listening to his wife.
"Also he has a major cousin complex," Hirosji added before pulling her away and to a coffee house. Sabaru smiled at the new information, so this what an informant felt when they learned valuabe lesson. It was treasure there words, that he now felt invincible.
"Oh and one last thing...," Rei walked over to the group before grinning, "He's not some player. Izaya's just lost his virginity to his girlfriend, during christmas," She then ran after Hiroshi and cuddled into his arm.
Izaya lay on Shizuo's couch snuggled with his cat, while Shizuo sat at his feet on his laptop typing in words. He had been at it for a while and also Izaya knew was that Shizuo was getting angry.
"What's wrong?" Izaya asked sitting up and cuddling into his side. Shizuo smiled softly, kissed his forehead then looked back at the screen in front of him. He was looking at his bank account and was refreshing the page furiously.
"For some reason, I'm out of debt, the only debt I owed was the damages to the city, but it's no longer and I need to pay gas and stuff...so I don't know how much I can pay," Izaya laughed softly then went onto his own bank account opening up a new tab and typed his stuff up and showed him a cheque.
"I forgot to tell you. I payed for all the damages you owed the city. Most of them were partly my fault and I wanted to prove to you that I was serious about this relationship. You don't own the city any money as of yet, so all that money is yours though if you need help paying...I can cover...well really...I was thinking...erm...can't you sell this place and come with me. I'll need you really soon for the child...if we are keeping it and you're always at mine anyway," Izaya blushed looking away.
"I'm not quite sure, if I want to move in ye-,"
"But didn't you say this morning that you were more relaxed sleeping with me. Why would you sleep here, if you are more comfortable with me. It's just a waste and you'll probably want to save up for the child and buy it nice things...like the bear yesterday," Shizuo smiled before nodding his head and kissing Izaya on the lips.
"We are going to keep the baby and not abort," Izaya took a deep breath and sat on Shizuo lap, wrapping his arms securely around Shizuo's neck. He leaned forward to kiss his lips but the door opened and Sabaru walked in with Kadota. Izaya retracted and huffed while snuggling into Shizuo's shoulder, hiding his face from the other two.
The two walked in slowly and sat down next to Izaya and Shizuo. It was silent for a while until Sabaru stood up and walked round to see Izaya's face, "You're certainly a character. You know that," he began with a smile, "Rei and Shinra told us some facts about you. Why do you make up lies?" He asked bending down to see him clearly.
"I'd rather not answer that," he whispered. Sabaru grinned.
"So you are aware of why you pretend to be some malicious character," Izaya nodded his head again then felt Shizuo rub circles in his back softly trying not to apply to much pressure to his wound.
"All off these years...I've hated you for being who you are. I hated that you were so skinny. So good at sport...so talented...got all the girls...yet I didn't know that you had no friends that you were seriously fat and had a heart attack...went to fat camp...and that until recent you were a virgin," Izaya blushed hiding his face more in Shizuo's neck. "Though Izaya...I want to know if you will hurt and manipulating Shizuo,"
"Yes when I got drunk and lost my virginity to him I was only manipulating him. I was the one that forced him to talk to me to tell him that he wanted to date me. I was the one who made him feed me the pill that gets male pregnant. It's been me all along," Shizuo laughed and stroked his cheek.
"Sabaru. I'm a big guy, I can protect myself from him and he's really not a problem," He laughed as Izaya was slowly drifting off to sleep in his arms. Sabaru nodded before sitting down, scowling at Izaya.
He still wondered if Shizuo was truly safe. He studied the two as they whispered to each other quietly. Shizuo rubbing circles in Izaya's lower back. Izaya grunted in pain ran into the bathroom, took out his cream and took his top off and sat back down on Shizuo's lap.
Sabaru and Kadota turned to see that most of the skin on Izaya's back and been ripped off and it was slowly healing with a plastic cover over to protect the skin that was healing. Shizuo slowly took the plastic off and put the lotion onto his back before running it deep into his wound. It had began to crust so it was a lot better than before, but was still painful.
Izaya winced and held Shizuo's knee as he applied the lotion to his back, "You do realise that in this relationship. Shizuo could be manipulating me...he could...he could...he could...try...try and kill...kill me in my sleep," Izaya whispered to the two who nodded their head never thinking of the possibility.
"You know I wouldn't have waited by your side for a month or even rescue you from the airplane if I wanted you to die," Izaya nodded his head and received a kiss to the back of his neck. "Relax your back for me," Izaya calmed down and relaxed himself and Shizuo continued to rub cream into his back.
"So...what are your plans for the child?" Sabaru asked looking at the small bump that had risen on Izaya's stomach. Shizuo put his hand in front of Izaya's stomach to stop Sabaru and Kadota looking. It made Izaya feel bad and fatter than what he was.
"We're still discussing our options. It's not what we are having for tea, it's a child. There is a lot to discuss. How'd you react when you found out?" Izaya watched as Sena jumped onto his lap and he stroked her ear making her purr in enjoyment.
Shizuo stood up lifting Izaya off and putting the kettle on for all of them. He made four cups of hot beverages, two coffee's and two tea's. He handed his guests their tea and coffee before walking over to give Izaya his coffee and sat on the floor as he only had three seats. Izaya huffed to himself and rested his feet on Shizuo's shoulders.
"When we first found out...we were obviously furious with Shinra for the mistake...but we were both ecstatic to have a kid. So in the end we forgave Shinra as he spent so much time looking after me. He really looks after you," Sabaru began before taking a sip of his coffee. "It was weird the first few months but after a while, it felt like it was natural, though I couldn't leave the house for about 3 months. So what stage are you at?" Kadota asked looked at the pair while sipping on his tea.
"Shizuo," Izaya groaned like a cat in heat. Shizuo stood up putting his own cup on the table and watched as Izaya stood as well. The body guard sat down and pulled Izaya into his lap and cuddled him, watching his exposed back as much as possible.
"Can I put the TV on?" Sabaru asked as it was one o'clock and the news would be on and it was always interesting. Shizuo nodded and two naked blonde ladies appeared lying on a bed together, both naked. One of the blonde ladies lay on her back as the other sat on her face as the bottom one held her hips and licked her.
"Oh shit. Sorry," Shizuo apologised changing the channel to the news. Sabaru and Kodata laughed and turned it back over to the porn station. They happily got comfy and continued to watch the two blonde make hot noises.
Shizuo felt Izaya wriggle endlessly and noticed that he was extremely hard in his boxers. He kissed his neck softly and gasped when Izaya turned round and shoved his tongue down his throat forcefully making Shizuo gag from how far down his tongue had went down, "Turn that off," Shizuo gasped while trying to pry Izaya away quick enough to speak to his friends.
"Oh the anything gets him horny stage. It'll pass soon," Shizuo nodded slowly as Izaya nudged his groin into his leg, "Jeez," Sabaru spoke again looking at the two as their tongues circled around the other. The love was just to intense that he didn't fancy watching and turned to Kadota who was looking away as well.
"Imma take him in-oo the room," Shizuo forced out while their tongues intertwined with each other. Sabaru nodded refusing to look at his friend. It was embaressing to be in such a honry state. Always needing the attention. Every night needing the attention. Hiding from Erika and Walker as he sported his erection. It was painful and annoying.
Less than an hour later, after Sabaru had finished making out them selves, they didn't see no reason not to when they knew first hand how long it took to calm down a pregnant erection. It took over an hour, just under if they were lucky. They didn't see a need to get out the house for an hour but decided to catch up on their very own time with each other, they got a text from Shizuo saying to come through.
They stood up and made their way into Shizuo's bedroom to find that both of them lying in bed, Izaya unconscious snuggled into Shizuo's arm while his hand rested on his chest. They noticed that Izaya was still wearing his hoodie and that Shizuo wasn't wearing his shirt, evidence from the shirt on the floor and the lack of cloth on his shoulders that were now bare. Shizuo had an arm around Izaya's shoulder and was looking at him lovingly. He finally looked to his friends and blushed.
"Sorry 'bout that," Shizuo blushed looking up to his friends who were also blushing softly. The two took a seat on the bottom of the bed, minding the occupants of the bed legs so that they didn't sit on them. "So...erm...how did you guys hook up," Sabaru smiled at the question.
"We were playing spin the bottle when it landed on us and we kissed, then it continued to land on us so the kisses got more intense, so by out fourth shot we were full on making out on for about 3 minutes due to the rules. So when we went home to mine I invited him in where we continued kissing where we ended up being partners. We've been together since high school. You were playing with us with Rei,"
Shizuo blushed remembering the game and smiled as that he was there for initially watching them hook up. Izaya whimpered and nuzzled into Shizuo's chest while the blonde stroked his cheek, "You played those games?" Izaya whispered into Shizuo turning onto his stomach and massaging his leg with his hand.
"Did you?" Izaya sat up and shook his head.
"I played dolls with my sister. Taught them to cook and helped them with their studies. Once I got away from you I went home and played with them. We went for a walk after and played at the park," Shizuo smiled then watched as the bedroom door swung open and Miaru ran in with Kururi. They sat on the bed beside Shizuo and cuddled their brother.
"Miaru, Kururi, how'd you get in here?" Shizuo asked and watched as Rei and Hanako walked in. Hanako walked over to Izaya and sat on the bed.
"Izaya what happened. You don't cry especially on the street. What happened?" Kururi asked with concern in her voice. Izaya moved away from Shizuo and held both his sisters as tears began to swell up in his eyes. Sabaru and Kadota took their leave, leaving the house altogether telling Shizuo that they'll speak another day.
Rei kissed Izaya on the lips and told him that she had to leave and to text her anytime before she left but left kisses on the twins head and gave Hanako a kiss before leaving with Kadota and Sabaru.
"Baby. What happened?" Hanako asked as he embraced her son. "Shizuo dear. Could you take the twins into the living room. Put a DVD on for them and make them something to drink," Shizuo nodded and got up wearing only his boxers. He quickly pulled on a white shirt.
"Come back after," Izaya begged taking his boyfriends hand and holding it close. Shizuo nodded before walking out with the twins. Miaru took a seat on the couch and saw Sena sprawled out on the couch staring at herself in the TV.
The twins sat down beside the cat and Shizuo put the TV on but the porn was still on and quickly switched it over and left them with the anime channel and they asked for coffee and he happily obliged before sitting beside the twins for a moment, "Did Izaya ever go out with friends in high school?" The twins shook their heads slowly.
"He started working for Shiki when he was 17 and he was gone a lot for that but never went out with friends...he didn't have any friends...still doesn't," Miaru answered before lifting the sleeping cat up and cuddled her soft fur.
"Why does brother have a large bruise. Did you do that?" Shizuo nodded slowly looking down feeling so guilty for punching him the night before, but Izaya was talking nonsense and what he was saying was hurting him. His virginity was more important to him than them being a couple.
"We got into an argument about our reletionship but it doesn't matter, it's all been fixed," The twins nodded then watched as Rei returned, storming in before she punched Shizuo in the jaw before walking out again.
Shizuo grabbed his sore jaw while the twins went to get some ice, "That's for hurting him," she growled before she disappered. The twins returned and put the ice on his cheek.
Meanwhile Izaya was gripping onto his mother as he cried in her arms, "Shinra said you're thinking of killing yourself. Tell me what's wrong baby?" Hanako knew that Izaya didn't want the twins to see him in this state, hense why she sent them away. She rubbed circles in his back slowly trying to comfort him.
"I'm gonna be a...Shinra...he...I'm...you know how Shizuo is the guy I had one night stand with...Shinra got one of my tablets mixed up and...well I'm now pregnant. I'm gonna be a mummy," he cried. "I want to abort but that may end up with me dying. I'm so scared," Hanako held her son closer while she 'shh-ed' him. She kissed his forehead and held his hand.
"Don't kill yourself. It's scary, but you've always wanted children. Don't give life up just because you'll be a mummy. Be lucky you get to have kids with someone that you like and someone that cherishes you. Shizuo will be by your side. Shinra will and so will I," she knew that Shinra was mental and would do such a thing.
Shizuo walked through to see Izaya crying to his mother and smiled softly before walking over and was attacked in a hug by Izaya who was crying heavily into his shoulder now, "Baby. I was scared when I found out about you. But your father was there for me and your gran was there for me. Baby I was scared, that I couldn't bring you up right, but seeing you in your mansion of a home...I am proud. You have a loving boyfriend who will be there for you. And when you were younger and you say things like, 'I wanna marry mummy' and come out with even cuter things. Baby, you'll make a wonderful mother. Don't cry," She whispered rubbing his leg softly.
The twins walked in after looking terrified, Izaya opened his arms and brought them into his arms and held them close to his chest, "Brother don't cry," Izaya nodded his head and wiped his eyes while hugging the twins.
"Something bad has happened and I'm really scared. Something is going to happen and I don't have any control over it. In a year it will be over but until then I'm gonna be really ill and you won't be seeing much of me," The twins held him closer while patting his head.
"Are you ill?"
"Yeah. I'm ill. It will be a year of therapy/healing. Well let's just say by christmas i'll be better. I'm gonna get some sleep, so can you go step out now," Izaya lay down on Shizuo's leg and quickly was asleep. Hanako led the twins out and left them on the couch. She walked back into the bedroom to see that Shizuo was cuddling him.
"Good luck dear. Look after your sisters for the time being," she kissed his cheek and left the room. Shizuo got up and started pulling out a few suit cases and brought the twins into the room and told them that he was moving in with Izaya and that he needed help packing. The twins were more than happy to help him pack.
Shizuo looked down as he began to pack; he was going to be a father.
Yeah, it's out. Hope you enjoyed. I'll be writing two one-shots then back to Reunion, then two one-shots then back to Fateful Night. So look out for them. None of them will be DRRR sadly. I don't have any ideas for them.
