Chapter 1
I sigh petting Sebastian as I am looking out the window watching the sunset. I have to say Gotham is an okay city but there is already way too much crime that goes on every single day such as bombings, murders, mob crimes, robberies, and drugs. I stand up and stretch causing my back to POP and CRACK due to the fact that I have been sitting in the same position for too long. Sebastian hates it when I do this so he hisses at me and glares resulting me to giggle at him because he looks too cute in his cat form to be scary and intimidating. My stomach then growls in response to how hungry I am from not eating breakfast nor lunch.
I look over to my alarm clock and it says its 5pm. I smile turning my head towards Sebastian looking at him and he immediately becomes suspicious of me.
"It's time for dinner I say opening the door that leads to the hallway and begin to walk towards the stairs to the kitchen to get something to quiet my growling stomach. I smile slightly when I see Alfred cooking dinner and I notice that he is making Beef Wellington. A few seconds later my stomach rumbles and growls loudly and he chuckles.
"Are you hungry there Miss Wayne?" he asks politely turning towards me and I groan in annoyance.
"Alfred! I have told you a million times to address me as Nicky! You know that when you call me 'Miss wayne' that it makes me feel like an ancient artifact or something!" I yell crossing my arms and blow a strand of hair away from my face which just ends up landing right in the same place as before.
Alfred smiles and chuckles at what I had just said. I walk over to the cabinet that has Sebastians' cat food, I open the can and dump it in his food bowl.
"Sebastian!" I scream very loudly and he comes running in just as I place his food bowl down on the floor. I smile at him and turn to Alfred.
"I am just going to have some cereal for supper, kay?" I say quietly and grab a box of Corn-POP's and a bowl.
I then run up to my bedroom leaving Sebastian in the kitchen.
