I was back at the hotel before my family. Hell, I was already pulling out Emmett's stereo just as they came through the door. Of course it was then I remembered that Carlisle had the CD. I reached for it but he pulled it out of my reach. "Carlisle?"

"Settle down Edward. Let's take a deep breath."

I gave him a look of disbelief. "Really?"

He had the nerve to chuckle. "You have to remember that this doesn't affect only you. We all are just as anxious to find out what is on this CD."

"What if it's something bad?" Rose asked as she sat down next to Emmett. "What if Claudia, or whoever, did something bad to us?"

Esme stood next to Carlisle. "Edward still has the right to know their connection and we have the right to know what really happened to us."

Even so, Rose did have a point. This girl did everything she could to make sure she was erased out of their life. I felt my shoulders slump as well as a feeling of peace. "Jasper, that's not going to help much now."

He shrugged. "Anything to get rid of all that sadness. I know we all are scared to find out but Esme is right."

"Can we please just figure out why this is so important?" Alice chimed in. "I would like to be able to see the future again without any blurs."

We all were looking at Carlisle, who sighed and handed me the CD. Slowly, for a vampire, I put the CD in the stereo.

"Way to go with the suspense." Emmett mumbled. As it went in I pressed play and couldn't believe what it was. Or what I was hearing.

"A piano? That's the big secret? What's so great about this?" Emmett was shouting until Rose slapped the back of his head.

"Edward? Could this be you?" Esme gasped softly as the notes changed.

"I've..I've never played anything like this." It was beautiful, how the sound went together. It sounded soft. Almost like…a lullaby.

"Did you play this Edward?" Carlisle asked.

"Yes." I replied without thinking. They all looked at me confused. "I mean, I think I did." Just then images of me playing the piano popped into my mind and I could see myself playing this song. As the song continued I can actually see the keys I would play and when I looked down my fingers were moving as if I was playing a piano.

"What is this?" Alice asked.

Before I could answer in my head I could see myself once again playing this but there was a figure next to me. As it cleared up, I recognized the girl's brown hair. Her face seemed so innocence as she smiled at me. I watched tears fall for her and I had this overwhelming feeling of tranquility just by her smile.

More images appeared. In what looked like a classroom with her entering the room. I could smell the human in her. Another was in my meadow in Forks; a place I would go to in the middle of the forest that I shared with no one else. So why were we laying down next to each other, smiling?

As these images appeared I didn't notice the frozen looks on my family's face. But that didn't stop me from seeing into their minds. Almost as if they were forcibly pushing them into my mind. Alice was giving this girl a present at school; Rosalie broke a bowl as she glared at her; Carlisle was fixing a glass wound; Esme was sitting next to her during a game of baseball; Emmett was lifting her up in his arms and swinging her around; Jasper tried to attack her. All these images and more came in and I was stunned. All these events that she was in. So much we did with her. And then I was hit with another wave of memories: my own.

Me saving her from being hit by a van; me watching her as she slept; me running with her own my back; me kissing her. It seemed as if we were stepping into the light finally as I remembered everything. Looking back at my family their thoughts were the same as mine. Just one word.

"Bella."
