Is this hell? But it's so..soft. I groaned softly and opened my eyes to white. Heaven? Sitting up I was taken back by the unknown room I was in. I really did die.

The door opened and I was expecting to see an angel. I wasn't expecting my father to come through with a hellish look in his eyes that was covered with relief. "You woke up." He walked over and hugged me.

I still couldn't make of what happened. "Why are you here?" Don't tell me he killed himself as well.

He pulled back, looking confused. "Don't you remember anything."

I nodded. "I died." He looked at me for a moment before chuckling softly. "You gave it your best shot, but no, you are not dead."

I gasped. "Then Armand is still..." "Armand is dead. He could not escape the sun."

Armand was dead. He was finally dead. I don't know how to feel about this. I was happy but it seemed too unreal. Three years and it all ended in one night. But why wasn't I dead? "How did you find me?"

Louis's smile faded slightly as he took my hand in his. "We tried to follow your scent but it didn't work. It wasn't until Alice got a vision that showed the warehouse." Alice?

"Why would..how did you..what did you do?"

He didn't look apologetic. "Lestat found your CD of Edward's piano playing. We gave it to the Cullens at the park and it triggered their memories. They remember everything from before and came to help."

"What? No." I moved to get out of bed but he held me down. "Bella you must calm down."

"How could you let them know. This ruins everything. They shouldn't know. Take it away. Take it away."

"STOP." He grabbed my arms and held them to my side. I didn't notice the pain until then. "If it weren't for them you would be dead." He lifted up my right arm and I could see the burn marks that would go away in about a day. "We were lucky your arm was the only thing that burned, Edward was able to get you covered up before anything else could get caught in the sun. Carlisle was able to wrap your broken leg enough time for it to heal correctly but you still may feel pain from it so I would be careful."

Edward. "He came for me."

"Of course. He came looking for you the minute he remembered."

"He must be so angry." I could only imagine what he was feeling; disgusted, horrified, betrayed.

"Can't argue with you there." He chuckled. "But I know he still cares about you very much. You'll just have to take whatever they have coming from you."

I sighed. "If I do that you think he and his family will leave."

"Is that really what you want? To never see them again." I was about to say yes but the look on his face made me stop. He knew when I was going to tell a lie. "You can still have love Bella. Everything is over."

"But I'm different dad. They don't know me."

"Now's a good time to start." Could it really be that simple? Could I just waltz back into their lives again? I couldn't do that to them. "I think you're wrong dad. They're better off without me."

Louis stood up and kissed my forehead. "That's for them to decide."

"I'm sorry." I truly was. Louis did nothing wrong and yet I pulled away from him. Mother would be disappointed in me.

Louis smiled as he placed his hand on my cheek. "You have been through a lot my child. Just please do not ever put me through something like this again. If you leave Lestat may stick around more often. You're not the only one who wanted Lestat to die." We both laughed. "Now, you should get some rest."

"Where are they?" I asked before he could leave. "And where are we?"

"Well, we are in their hotel and they left to give you some privacy." No wonder I could smell them all over. When he left the room I laid down and went back to sleep.

EDWARD'S POV

I heard him lie to her right before he came out of my room. "She's asleep." He whispered.

"She will be better though right?" Esme asked.

Louis nodded. "She's already healing and after this nap she will be good to go." I was surprised to hear but relieved. The moment I ran in and saw her lying on the ground I didn't think and just ripped off my shirt to cover her face and most of her arms as I was able to run to a shaded area of the warehouse. That was when Carlisle came with a blanket and we were able to cover her whole body. I didn't even know she was unconscious until we got back to the hotel and unwrapped her. As she slept she looked exactly like the Bella I knew before.

"Everything will be alright now right? There's nothing else after her?" Alice asked, worried.

"No," Louis shook his head. "Armand was the only reason we were on the run. I personally made sure his entire coven was destroyed." My family sighed with relief.

"What's going to happen now?" I looked down when Rosalie asked that.

Carlisle patted my shoulder. "We will discuss this when she wakes up. There is a lot that needs to be said on both sides."

"Do you think she will want to come back and live with us?"

"Alice." Esme scolded her even though she was thinking the same thing. As much as she wanted the whole thing came down to mine and Bella's decision. If we still had a future together. My family hoped for a romantic reunion but I knew better. There were still so much emotions going through me right now that I was afraid the minute I was alone with Bella I would lash out on her. She did just leave me for three years and even erased our minds. Sure I know why she did it but I would have stayed and did my best. Could she not understand my love?

"I'm sorry Edward." I looked back up at Louis. "None of this would have happened if I came back to Forks."

I shook my head. "You did nothing wrong. Bella was a lot better knowing the truth and letting Isabella Swan rest in peace. She needed her real father and to know her real mother." Louis was not to be blamed for this.

"Do you think you could forgive her?"

"I don't know." I answered honestly. "This is just a lot to take in. I still love her but all the memories from three years flooding back in is a lot. I am angry at her but then feel bad because she herself was pushed into this." I did not know what to feel.

"I understand. If it helps any bit, Bella has never been herself since leaving. The first six months was terrible. I convinced her to get rid of everything that reminded her of you but obviously she snuck the CD and I knew about the one picture she had. I would catch her staring at her all night and every time we would go out to feed she tried going for dogs, cats, or any small animal she could get but she grew weak so she fed on those on the streets. She did her best but a few never made it and she cried each time. The original plan was that we would kill Armand and she would return and give you guys your memories back but I was so afraid of losing her again that I did the only thing I knew and ran. After seven months of this she changed, growing bitter and casted away her emotions. I should have never held her back. There were so many times we could have found him but I was scared. What I did was wrong and I wish I could take it back otherwise we would not have gotten this far. I know you are angry and you have every right to be but please be kind with your words."

"I'm glad she erased our memory." Everyone gasped and turned to Rose. "What?"

"Why do you say that?" Damn, I forgot Lestat was still lurking around here. He was standing next to Louis and looking at Rose.

She shrugged. "Think about it, if Bella did not erase our minds and ended up leaving anyway, Edward would be an even bigger mess searching for her and go back to the empty shell he was when he left her. Not only would Bella have Armand to worry about but if any of us ended up crossing paths with Armand and he knew about Bella through us, who's to say he would not have tried to kill us. And if he succeeded and it got to Bella then she would fall apart even more. With erasing our memories she gave us a chance to still act as the "normal" family we were before her. Thinking we were happy without her Bella was able to focus on her goal even if she did not know about the picture and Edward's obsession with it. I know we feel hurt now but you have to see the good in this. Even it was three years it did not seem that way since we did not know her."

"Wow, when did you get so smart?" Rose glared as Jasper chuckled which had me crack a small smile. "I can't believe I'm saying this. But you are right Rose."

"Always am."

""Well, considering the sun is going down and I have not gotten anything good thanks to this drama, I'm going to go hunt." Lestat stretched and headed for the door. "I'll wait on the other side for you Louie." Saying that he left the room.

"We don't have to see him after this right?" Emmett asked with annoyance, something new. "I mean, that's a deal breaker if Bella comes back to live with us." Even though everyone chuckled they were not quiet about their frustrations with the blonde vampire.

"I am with you there." Louis stood up. "But I am going to go feed as well. Thank you again."

"Wait," Alice jumped up, dragging Jasper with her. "Let's all go hunt." In her mind she was naming different places around London. Something was going on in there.

The family seem to have caught on before me and all agreed. Before I could get up Carlisle actually held me down in my seat and told me to stay before joining the rest. I wanted to yell when Alice's vision came in mind and I saw why they wanted to leave. I turned back to the door.

Four more hours to go.
