The next day was slightly hectic for Naruto. True to the demand, Tayuya was now under his watch and Kin was spending her every waking period following the boy around as well. Not only was that getting slightly upsetting, but Sakura had made a point to stick around Naruto because Ino was hanging around him for some reason.
So that might have been quite the spectacle. Sakura and Kin were riding on one of Naruto's shoulders while Tayuya and Ino were sitting on the other as the boy just had a deadpan expression on his face while he walked around Konoha.
But then it got worse as Temari appeared and jumped onto the boys back and then he later wound up carrying Tenten in his arms since she wanted in on the fun. The boy was now beginning to understand the torment that was being Sasuke Uchiha.
Speaking of the Uchiha, where was he? In hiding, that's where. He didn't want to jinx this chance to avoid all unwanted female attention and had decided to spend the day at his own house.
The blonde meanwhile had the entire day to spend with his female charge and company. Under the pretense of showing her around the village, he had no choice but to ferry them around and show key points off in the village.
Then Naruto later treated them to some ramen at Ichiraku's. Much to the shock of the owners who hadn't seen the boy in ages when he finally returned, he had an entourage of women with him.
As he caught up with the Ichiraku's the girls were talking amongst themselves over any random thing before the subject eventually changed to their current pack mule and that's where things began to get heated. Sakura didn't want Ino near the boy while Tayuya got into it with Tenten over their spots claiming that he was supposed to escort HER around and not the others which got the rebuttal of "You claimed your spot, I took what was left."
Before the argument could get too heated, Naruto dropped a huge sum of cash on the counter and quickly made the girls leave. Now they were all walking after the argument over Naruto carrying one of them in his arms while the shoulder and back seats were now considered bad spots to be and when they demanded the boy choose who he carried, he simply rolled his eyes and walked off.
Once he arrived at the top of the hokage monument, the girls all took in the view of the village while Naruto took this moment to reflect on a few things that had been happening lately. With all of his training and the things life was throwing at him, he never really had a moment to stop and think about things for himself as he was always busy. The girls noticed this and gave him some space while they went about talking and discussing their own training and other things.
It was about two hours later when Naruto finally seemed to snap out of his thoughts and he noticed that some of the girls had fallen asleep, except for Tayuya who looked his way when she noticed him look over.
"Finally awake huh. Bout god damn time." she said and he rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, I didn't really intend for that to happen." he said and she simply shrugged her shoulders.
"That's fine, it's better this way." she responded, before he could answer however, three figures suddenly appeared behind him. When he turned, he was surprised to find it was the other sound ninja who had helped in the invasion, minus the blue haired one.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, but his answer was one of them popping out some bones and firing them. Naruto smacked the bones aside before returning fire with his buster gun. While he was distracted however, Tayuya quickly jammed a syringe into the side of his body that was filled with a strange purple substance.
The results were immediate as his pupils shrunk and he started to spark and scream as he grabbed his head. The giant placed down some round looking object that immediately flew over and began to emit yellow waves of energy that picked Naruto up and it began to fly off with him, the sound ninja immediately taking off with it.
The girls however were still sleeping despite the noise and it was at this point that Hinata quickly ran over and with a shout of "Kai!" had flared chakra around her that made the others quickly sit up in shock. "What just happened?" Temari said as she looked around.
"It's N-Naruto…h-he's been k-k-kidnapped!" Hinata said and like a flash the other girls grabbed the Hyuuga and were off to the hokages office.
When they arrived, the girls began to go over what happened, they were sitting at the monument and after some time had passed they claimed to have started to feel drowsy, so they passed out. Then Hinata, who was following them after some time had watched some sound ninja appear and Tayuya attacked Naruto and they ran off with him.
Tsunade didn't even have time to react, Sarutobi had immediately stood up. "ANBU, to me!" he said and six masked figures appeared. "I want you to get Uchiha Sasuke, Shino Aburame, Shikamaru Nara, Neji Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka and Chouji Akamichi in here immediately!" he shouted and the ANBU vanished.
"Sakura Haruno, you will also be participating in this mission, the rest of you will act as a back up squad. You will go on the mission, but you will not engage unless necessary." he commanded and the girls nodded.
Once the called for ninja had arrived, Sarutobi cleared his throat. "Naruto Uzumaki has been kidnapped by sound ninja. I want you all to retrieve him immediately. Shikamaru is the squad leader, Sakura Haruno will be the leader of squad B. Now go." he said and immediately the ninja took off.
Tsunade was actually quite shocked, she hadn't expected Sarutobi to react to the news in quite that manner. That boy must have meant a lot to him for him to send two squads to rescue the boy.
-Meanwhile at the Command center-
A red light was flashing in the medical ward, Lifesaver had arrived and was trying to figure out what was wrong when X had also arrived. The signal was coming from the storage area. When they arrived, they saw Naruto's head in the healing pod, his brain and part of his body having healed while in the pod. What shocked them however was when he opened his eyes.
-Forest-
As the squads were rushing in, Shikamaru had stated Kiba would lead since his nose could track their scent while Neji was behind him checking everywhere with his byakugan. Sasuke would be in the center, Chouji would be behind him and Shino would bring up the rear.
Squad B was also tracking the boy, Sakura's eye patch had another mode that allowed her to heighten her senses and she was using that to keep a form of awareness around them while Hinata scanned farther ahead with her byakugan. They had given a wide berth to the other squad in case of an ambush and also to try and flank any opposition they encountered.
Suddenly hell began to break loose. A giant shuriken flew at squad A, forcing them to duck. When they looked up, they were surprised to find Mizuki ahead of them holding another fuuma shuriken.
As they were about to attack him, a few more thumps in the trees around them put them on alert and they turned to see their opponents, which made most of them widen their eyes in shock. Dosu and Zaku from the exams were here but they looked more like experiments as they had lots of different mechanical parts all around their body.
Orochimaru was there, but his head was attached to a mechanical body, the rain ninja that team 7 had killed in the forest was here and that Zabuza was here, but stitched together like a rag doll.
Shikamaru grumbled once he realized the situation they were in. "Great, we're fighting dead people." he said as the others tensed up. "What about Mizuki? He's not dead." Chouji said and Sasuke shook his head. "Naruto said he was cut completely in half by Sigma on graduation day. The fact he's here now and whole pretty much spells out he's been revived." the boy said.
"He could have been lying?" Kiba said as he pulled out a kunai while Akamaru growled on his head. "The fact that we've personally seen three of these people dead before makes for some overwhelming evidence." Neji spoke as he got into his battle stance.
"So what then? How do we kill what's already been killed?" Kiba asked and the Sasuke grunted. "Not sure. I've cut their throats and they ignored any damage as well. Only option I see is to sever the head or completely destroy them." He said.
Shikamaru sighed before he pulled out a kunai. "Kiba, Chouji, you take the two sound zombies. Neji, you take the rain zombie. Sasuke, you got the snake man, Shino, you take the swordsman. I've got Mizuki." he said before they all leapt into battle.
Squad B had seen the attack and they were about to rush in when Sakura told them to stop. "They're a distraction, we need to keep going if we want to rescue Naruto." she said and reluctantly everyone else agreed before they took off once more.
As they were traveling, the sound ninja suddenly landed in front of them causing them to stop. Now that they god a good look at them, they were similar in appearance to Naruto that they had mechanical parts on them and armor, but they didn't look exactly like Naruto. What caught them by surprise however was the blue haired one was with them but he had a twin that had different mechanical pieces on his body.
"Shit..." Sakura said as she grabbed one of her sealing scrolls. As the kunoichi were getting ready to fight, they suddenly heard a cry of "LEAF HURRICANE!" and a green blur had flown past them and knocked one of the sound ninja out of the way.
"Lee?!" Tenten said in shock at the boy before them. He looked like his regular self except for the black metal arms he now had. The boy looked back and grinned before he suddenly grabbed a wrapped object off of his back and tossed it at Sakura who caught it.
When she pulled the cloth down, she was surprised to find it was the katana she had left at the command center, but it looked like it had been enhanced by new technology. "Please, continue after Naruto, I will join the others in this brawl." he stated. The pink haired girl gave a nod before she put the katana on her back and quickly ran past the sound ninja.
The girls and Lee all got ready to fight as the sound ninja got into their own stances, the one that had been sent flying was back and immediately popped some swords made of bone out of his body.
When Sakura had finally caught up to Naruto, she saw some strange device carrying him and a tall bald man with a red cape standing near him. He turned when he saw Sakura and grinned. "Well well, I'm amazed you managed to keep up. But you are far too late." he said before the device dropped the boy who stood back up and with a flash of energy, had completely changed his armor.
It was black, it looked like a samurai's armor and Naruto's blue eyes were now small red pupils and he had a twisted grin on his face. "Show me how strong you both are. Don't disappoint me." the man said before he suddenly vanished.
"Naruto…" Sakura began but was cut off when he suddenly fired a fully charged shot at her which she had dodged. That caught her off guard, she'd never seen Naruto fire a charged shot that fast before and without the need to charge!
In fact, he was firing them every few seconds and she had quickly discarded her weights to help keep ahead. "Naruto, I don't want to hurt you!" she said as he kept firing. He suddenly shot out a chain that hit stabbed into her and she was immediately tugged towards him where he tried to slice her with his z-saber, which was now yellow in color and she quickly pulled out her katana and blocked the attack before slicing off the chain and jumping away from him.
She pulled the piece of chain still attached to her out and her eyes grew cold. "So be it." she said and got into a battle stance.
-Squad A-
The fight against Mizuki was surprisingly easy so far. The man seemed to have an endless supply of fuuma shuriken and was lobbing them repeatedly. The Nara was dodging and hiding where he could, but his strength seemed to have improved since the shuriken he was tossing were slicing through trees.
The revived chuunin wasn't talking however and his eyes were pure white with an emotionless look on his face. Shikamaru finally took a risk and hid behind a tree and ducked.
Once the shuriken flew over and sliced the tree, causing it to fall over, the Nara used his shadow possession jutsu and thanks to the objects and trees littering the forest, he was able to move his shadow close enough to grab him. "Shadow possession jutsu, success." he stated as he began to make the chuunin fling his shuriken at the other enemy ninja.
Sasuke was having it rough against Orochimaru. The man was physically way stronger than before, but he didn't have the use of jutsu he assumed because of his body when suddenly Orochimaru burst into mud as Sasuke had smashed the sennin in the face.
With a growl, he ducked as Orochimaru had taken a swing at him before backing up. "Ku ku ku. I'm quite amazed you never used the gift I gave you." The sennin said and Sasuke just grunted. "That stupid hickey was nothing more than a pain in the neck, literally. There's nothing I want from you and there's nothing you can tempt me with." The Uchiha said which made the snake sennin growl in anger.
"Impudent brat. If you won't follow me by choice, then I'll just have to beat you to within an inch of your life." he said before launching himself at Sasuke. The boy mentally prepared himself and got into his fighting pose as the sennin attacked and began to bob and weave out of the attacks before countering with punches at the midsection and face which didn't seem to hurt the sennin too much.
Sasuke suddenly smirked and made the hand signs for the substitution jutsu and he was covered in a puff of smoke, but he hadn't vanished. The sennin blinked but didn't react and kept attacking.
Chouji was staring down Dosu as the boys arm began to transform into the cannon shown from the exams and began to fire much faster at the boy. Chouji was quickly moving and doing his best to dodge, but this wasn't a game he was used to and he was beginning to tire.
He finally had a chance when a shuriken suddenly flew in and hit Dosu in the arm, which stopped the shuriken and it was hanging off his arm by one of the points. Dosu stared blankly at the metal star before he began to tug it out of his arm. He paused when he noticed a shadow overtake him and when he glanced up, all he saw was a giant fist come down and smash him into the ground.
Kiba was having a much easier time than Chouji because all this sound ninja was doing was firing a bunch of air waves at Kiba. Never in front of him and always behind him, the Inuzuka boy was frowning, he had expected a much harder fight than this before finally he fed Akamaru a food pill and the dog transformed into a copy of him and ran the opposite direction.
The sound ninja looked confused before trying to fire at both of them when suddenly a cry of "Fang over fang!" was heard and the boy and his dog flew in and began to slash away at the boy. Each hit took a chunk off of the sound ninja and his clothing, but he didn't react to the attacks hitting him.
Once Kiba was done, he turned to look at the sound ninja who was missing an arm and was heavily cut up on his other side, but he wasn't shouting or even looking like he was in pain! He stared down at his missing arm with a blank stare before raising his still attached arm and resumed firing at him. Kiba was almost hit by the attack because he was in shock when he gave a shout to Akamaru to attack and the dog in clone form did another spin and attacked the one armed ninja.
He was hit directly in the back which stumbled him forward before Kiba himself began to attack again and with a direct attack, he had torn apart the ninja at the midriff. Once he stopped spinning, he turned around and was shocked to see the boy hold himself up with his one arm and still fired an air wave at him.
Kiba ran forward and quickly began to stomp the head of the enemy repeatedly, despite the arm constantly trying to fire at him, he didn't let up and eventually the arm hit the ground and stopped moving.
Visibly shaken from that fight, the boy could only stare in shock before he turned around and ran to go help someone else.
Neji was having trouble would be an understatement. The boy was making these black clones of himself pop out of the ground and attack, but despite these clones going down in a single hit, and him attacking the boys chakra network, they would just reopen shortly afterwards.
Growling in frustration, he spun around and performed a move called kaiten to get rid of some of the clones surrounding him and once again attacked the rain ninja, but once more his chakra points instantly reopened themselves and the Hyuuga was hard pressed to keep up the attack since his own style was not working against this enemy.
He briefly thought back to the conversation he had with Naruto during the exams. It was the same, exactly the same. He had nothing that was working, so what was he going to do?
He finally took out a kunai and charged the rain ninja, once he was in range he stabbed the ninja in the chest, but was shocked when there was no reaction other than getting punched in the face for his efforts.
His opponent wasn't bleeding and he didn't even bother to pull the knife out of him. He took another kunai out and once again charged the boy but this time he stabbed him directly in the forehead.
The rain ninja paused but once more didn't react other than reaching up to pull the knife out of his head and throwing it back at Neji, who simply caught it. "Sever the head huh…" he thought aloud as he recalled Shikamaru's words when suddenly some fuuma shuriken flew in and began to take out some of the clones.
He glanced over and saw that Shikamaru had control of Mizuki and gave a small grin before charging in once more. When he closed in, he pushed the rain ninja's hand away and with a spin, tripped the boy before quickly jumped over him and he quickly began to hack away at the boys' neck.
The shinobi responded by trying to punch and push Neji away but he kept up the attack until finally he pulled the boys head away from his body. He was shocked when the clones didn't vanish and the body got back up and blindly swung around.
He quickly lobbed the head at the body which got knocked over, but to his immense surprise, the body put the head back on backwards, but then twisted it around and all he heard was a strange sucking noise before the cut from the neck vanished and the head was reattached.
The boy could only stand there frozen in fear at the opponent before him. There was literally nothing he could do. Fear, confusion and worst of all, helplessness spread through Neji's body as he fell to his knees.
He suddenly heard a cry of "Human boulder!" and the Akimichi boy rolled through and began to destroy the clones as hails of shuriken flew in and began to embed themselves into the rain ninjas body.
Kiba and Akamaru flew in and began to attack the rain ninja by slicing him apart. Neji's eyes widened in shock as he realized what was going. Chouji immediately walked up and picked the Hyuuga up by the back of his jacket, forcing him to his feet.
"What would people think if they saw you giving up like that? If they take everything you've thrown at them, then try throwing other stuff at them." Chouji said before he suddenly made his fist grow huge and he smashed some of the clones away that tried to jump them.
Neji shook his head and scowled. The big boy was right and he had shown weakness in front of the enemy. Never again. With renewed fight in him, he charged in and began to help Kiba attack the rain ninja and they all tore him into pieces. They weren't sure what had actually done the deed but once he was shredded and not a single piece of him was whole anymore, his body had stopped regenerating and the rest of the clones vanished.
Shino's fight was interesting to say the least. The man was now sporting a laser sword but was still silent and not using any jutsu. According to the bugs he had attacking the man, there wasn't a single ounce of chakra coming from his body and he looked like he had just been stitched together with metal.
So the plan had changed and Shino was sending countless bugs onto the mans body while he dodged all the attacks from the sword. A few close calls had given his jacket some new slices and a couple of his bugs had been unfortunate enough to get hit by the weapon which incinerated them.
After spending nearly ten minutes dodging and dancing around, the boy threw a kunai at the man who ignored it as it hit one of the stitchings, proving his theory right that it was metal as it bounced off.
The fight kept on until finally Shino came to a halt and when Zabuza ran forward to attack, his body began to fall apart from his stitchings. Shino pushed his glasses up. "Strange that you have no chakra, but my bugs can eat more than just chakra, I had them devour the connected skin and with no support holding them any longer, you fell apart." He said, but he received no words from his opponent other than the man trying to hold his body together in futile.
Shino's bugs kept up the feast and soon the entire body fell apart from the stitchings and more bugs swarmed the body. Once they cleared, all that remained was the sword and metal bits from the mans body. Shino quickly took the sword and ran to go help another ally.
Sasuke was smirking as the sennin just got angrier and angrier, the boy had suddenly become much faster and harder to hit and worst of all, Sasuke was using jutsu without the need for hand signs and the snake was taking quite the pounding from all the elemental attacks.
It was only when Sasuke had used some jutsu he hadn't seen before that sent him flying away did he finally notice what was wrong. He had weights on his body! With a growl, he quickly took them off of his limbs and realized that's why the boy used the substitution jutsu, but because of his new body, he hadn't even felt them.
"Curse this contraption. Once I get back to Oto, I'm going to transfer to a new body." he grumbled as he charged Sasuke. The boy quickly had a realization as he began to attack the sennin again, his robotic body was reacting whenever he got hit with the pulse fist jutsu.
He smirked as Orochimaru drew near and once again punched him with the pulse fist, the sennin felt like he'd been hit by a truck before he got sent flying and crashed into a tree. What the hell was going on? He knew of this jutsu and he knew it didn't have THAT much power.
He didn't have much time to react when suddenly a flurry of fuuma shuriken flew in and hit him in different parts of his body. While they hadn't hurt, it annoyed him because he couldn't sense incoming danger if they targeted that part of him, and so he had a huge disadvantage.
He began to pull them off of his body when Sasuke suddenly jumped in and he got another pulse punch to the arm which made the sennin dig into the ground and he noticed that his arm was visibly damaged.
Sasuke pulled back and punched again and this time the arm was completely severed as the punch tore through and he got hit in the head which made him dizzy but like he thought, that hadn't hurt very much.
But why was it doing so much damage to his body? That made absolutely no sense, and Sasuke seemed to pick up on that and was mercilessly attacking his body. The sennin was a sitting duck and soon he was nothing more but a mangled torso with a head attached.
The sennin hissed in annoyance, Sigma would pay for this humiliation someway, he swore it. But he never got to finish that train of thought when he had two kunai stabbed into his eyes. Sasuke used pulse punch on the ground with formed a crater and he simply tossed Orochimaru's head into the ground before he began to bury it.
With a sigh, he stood up and with a nod from the others, they quickly tore Mizuki apart, burned his body and ran ahead to catch up.
-Squad B-
Temari and Tenten made a pretty decent team since they were the ones told to fight the blue haired ninja twins, which went pretty well since they just kept up a barrage of weaponry that Temari was assisting with by using her wind scythe jutsu to help propel them faster.
The twins didn't seem to react to the attacks, but they were dodging and trying to get in range for some close combat which immediately was deterred when one got close, Tenten would immediately attack with some weapon that forced them to back up and Temari would follow up and force them back even further and the cycle would continue.
Finally the two had sustained enough damage from long range attacks and they quickly jumped at each other. Expecting them to try rushing them, the two kunoichi got ready for an attack, only to be surprised when the twins grabbed each other and began to merge into one another.
Finally there was a singular robotic body. Breathing mask, goggles on the eyes, clawed hands and a metal midsection made for a rather intimidating sight, but what made this even more terrifying was when they attacked him, he simply shrugged off their attacks and charged them. Temari quickly backed off and Tenten jumped in with a katana in one hand and a mace in the other.
He blocked all of her attacks and kicked her away before a wind scythe hit him and he turned his attention to Temari and charged. The girl held up her fan to block and she got shoulder rammed and was sent flying backwards.
With his back to her, Tenten leapt in and stabbed the katana in through the back and used her mace to hammer the sword down farther, with a loud roar, it arched back and knocked her off before a pair of arms appeared and began to try and pull the sword out of the back.
It turned towards Tenten and leapt at her. It landed and towered over her before giving out a roar and the hands from the back gave the metal arms the katana and it slammed the sword down at Tenten who quickly rolled to one side and dodged the attack. It tried again and she rolled to the other side. A third time it slammed the sword down again and she quickly did a few rolls to get away before getting up and jumped back further.
It charged at her with the sword raised and she heard a voice say "Catch." when she turned, she saw a small cylinder looking object flying through the air, she grabbed it and immediately the weapon came to life as a green energy sword and she flew forward and slashed at the creature.
The new sword went through her katana like a hot knife through butter and there was a bit more resistance from the creature before her, but the upper half of its body slid off and hit the ground as gasping noises were heard before she turned around and sliced the head off and then sliced the head in half.
The two girls gave sighs of relief before turning to go help someone.
Kin stared down the six armed man in front of her who had goggles over his eyes. With a smirk, he leapt into the air and vanished into the tree line. The girl stared hard before suddenly a giant yellow arrow flew out and she quickly sidestepped it, noticing it was attached to some kind of webbing.
More arrows began to fly out and attack her, but as she kept dodging, she noticed that there was less and less room to dodge to as more webbing began to get crossed around until finally she was surrounded by web and arrows. She heard the man laugh before another arrow flew out and with a few quick hand signs, she vanished with a puff of smoke and a log took her place.
That was when the guy slid down on a piece of the webbing and she saw him holding a bow with another arrow and he was grinning. "What's wrong? Realized you couldn't stand up to one of the elites?" he said and all she could do was smirk which made his smile drop.
"That trap might have been meant for me, but you don't even realize you caught yourself in it." she said before she gave a tug and suddenly he heard the sound of a bell ringing and the world began to get lopsided. He quickly did a release but it wasn't working! The bell sound had vanished but the effects still remained.
That was when he glanced down and noticed a senbon stuck into each of the webs he had made with a string attached to each one that was attached to the bell on the log in the center of it all.
She gave it a tug and the webbing made a strumming noise and he grabbed his head and tried to remain upright but his grip weakened and he fell to the ground. He tried to do a release again but it wasn't working.
"You know, for one of Orochimaru's elite guards, you sure are stupid. You can't stop sound and once the effects are in place, you can't get rid of it unless I want it." another tug of the strings and she walked up to the guy who was writing in pain.
A few senbon to the neck and his body went limp. She took the goggles off of his eyes and put them on. Her mouth formed a straight line before smiling. "Cool." She said as she walked back out and gave the strings another tug, blood began to leak out of his ears and eyes and she smirked at him.
"Now then, die from the madness." She said as she gave the strings another tug and if he wasn't paralyzed from the senbon in his neck, he would be convulsing as he began to drool and foam at the mouth.
After a few minutes, she gave another tug but there was no additional reaction, so she gave one good tug and her senbon returned to her along with the bell. She didn't even give him a second glance as she walked away from him.
Ino looked at Tayuya with a scowl on her face. The redhead scowled right back at her. "I don't get why you did it." Ino said which the girl responded to by shrugging. "Didn't have a choice, a sennin with a seal that could kill me or an android with a virus that could turn me into a mindless slave…either way I'm just a puppet." she said.
"But you were safe in Konoha, Naruto was protecting you." she said and the redhead snorted. "He was easily captured, you think that's good protection?" she asked and the blonde shook her head. "You tricked him and you know it. If he knew you were going to stab him in the back, he would have killed you." Ino said which made Tayuya raise an eyebrow.
"You sound so sure of that." she said which made the blonde girl shrug back in return. "He killed Kabuto the moment he had proof the man was a traitor. Friend or not, Naruto would kill you if you decided to become his enemy. While he's very goal oriented, he cares greatly for the people that are close to him." she said before smiling a bit.
"I guess that's kinda why I like him." she added which made the redhead frown. "Unfortunately I think I'm late to that train." she said when suddenly her eyes widened and her body pose changed to a familiar hand sign that Ino recognized. "Shadow possession success." She heard Shikamaru say from the bushes.
Ino didn't waste any time and immediately performed her mind transfer jutsu, her body went limp and Chouji caught her as the redhead seemed to snap back before Ino's voice said from the redhead "I've got her, you can let go Shika." And he did.
"Troublesome. But it's for the best." He said as they began to tie the redhead up and once they had triple checked that she could not escape, Ino released the jutsu and when Tayuya came to, she frowned. "What the hell just happened?" she asked.
With Hinata and the giant man known as Jiroubou, the timid Hyuuga was staring up at the ninja in worry. He didn't make a move and neither did she, that was when she realized that she was pressed for time, he had the luxury to just stand around and with a cry of "Byakugan!" she charged him.
Which resulted in her being immediately trapped inside a giant dome of dirt. She poked one of the sides of the wall and as it began to crumble, the chakra concentration began to get intense there and it restored itself. She did a look towards the back and saw that there was less chakra towards the rear.
So she began to attack the wall relentlessly in various places. Once the wall began to reform itself, she quickly ran to the back and began to attack it . Due to the chakra being concentrated at the damage from the front, it wasn't going near the back where the chakra was already weak and she collapsed the wall before rushing out.
The giant of a man looked slightly impressed as he let the dome fall and charged at the girl. She ducked under his swing and she retaliated by attacking him back. He smirked at her attacks before he pushed her away, but she kept up the assault and he just looked amused whenever she hit him.
As the fight went on however, he began to notice something, he was starting to get exhausted. He frowned at her and held up his hand, which made her pause. "You have a chakra stealing technique, don't you?" he asked and she looked surprised before shaking her head.
He frowned again. "Girls shouldn't lie." He said and she looked somewhat insulted before charging him again. Thinking that her attack was now a chakra steal, he began making an effort to block and dodge, but he noticed that blocking was doing him no good and dodging was all well and good, but it wasn't getting him anywhere.
Deciding to take things further, he leapt in took a swipe at the girl, who ducked under his hand and she clenched her eyes shut and slammed her palm into his chest. His eyes widened and he gasped before he immediately fell over. Hinata let out a squeak of surprise as she was immediately crushed by the guy. Tenten and Temari had been watching and sweatdropped at the scene before they began to try and pull the guy off of Hinata.
Once they had gotten him off of Hinata, the girl took a deep breath and sat up. "Remind m-me to n-never stand near a t-t-tall person ag-g-ain." she said which made the two girls laugh as they grabbed her hands and helped her up.
Lee and the man that was able to control his bones were having what could be described as a power struggle. No matter what the one ninja did, Lee would immediately smash through or break the bones thanks to his newly enhanced arms. The white haired man growled in frustration as Lee would just grab and break or punch right through anything he created, no matter how strong he tried to make it.
Finally having enough, some wires in his back that were attached to his wrists began to glow a green light and two blades made of energy popped out of the back of his hands. Lee looked on before he took a strange stance before a blade suddenly popped out of his right arm.
The two charged one another and Lee began to attack and parry the man with a single arm by using thrusts while the other guy was doing different forms of attacks. He was amazed that whatever weapon the boy with large eyebrows was using could withstand the new weapons he had, since so far these new blades of his had proven effective at cutting through everything else.
The sword dance continued for some time until finally Lee charged in and kicked at the man as he smirked and slashed with his blade, only to be completely caught off guard when Lee's leg stopped the blade and made it bounce back as the boy leaned in and punched the other blade and knocked it back before he thrust the blade on his arm forward.
The white haired ninja quickly tried to cover his chest in bone as a last ditch protection, but it was futile as the sword broke through cleanly and the blade appeared outside of the other side of his chest.
He gurgled and immediately threw up some blood as Lee pulled the blade out and watched as his opponent fell to the ground and the life left his eyes. The blade had retracted and Lee did a small bow to his opponent before turning and seeing that both squads had caught up to each other and all opposition was gone.
With that, they all turned and took off for where they had seen Sakura run off to.
-Sakura-
This was a fight that was going nowhere. Despite having her blade upgraded, it was doing nothing to Naruto's armor and she had even accessed her other persona and despite how ruthless she was being in her attacks, the blonde just chuckled and smashed her away.
She was finally forced into a rough patch when he fired a charge shot at her and she held her katana in front of her, both looked amazed however when it stood up to the attack and blocked it.
She smirked, thinking that the plans had changed in her favor when he shot a bunch of bubbles at her. She looked dumbstruck before slashing one of them with her sword which resulted in quite the powerful knockback that nearly sent her sword flying out of her hand.
He began to fill the area with these bubbles and suddenly she saw him fire a charged shot at her, though she blocked it, she got pushed into a bubble behind her which propelled her forward and she began to bounce around like a pinball as she hit each bubble.
She hit the ground and when she looked up, all she saw was the barrel of a buster gun aimed at her. Her hair color changed back to pink, the red pupils turned back to green and she closed her eyes before she suddenly heard a clang.
She opened her eyes and looked up to see Rock Lee standing in front of her and Naruto was just landing from whatever attack the boy had just done to him. He glared at the boy while Lee looked troubled. "Naruto, I know that this is not you, please stand down." He said but his efforts were rewarded with Naruto firing a charged shot at him.
Lee crossed his arms and the blast vanished as his arms made a tinking noise at the impact. That was when the rest of the ninja had shown up for the two squads and they were shocked at the sight they saw.
"Naruto, what the hell happened?" Shikamaru said, but the blonde just shot at him which he quickly dodged. "He's not himself, what even happened to him?" Sakura asked and Tayuya grumbled. "Sigma had me inject him with a virus that made him fall under his control. I think he said the term was 'going maverick' or something." which made the pink haired girl clench her sword in anger and Sasuke to just "Tch.".
The black haired boy charged Naruto, ducking under the shots as his fist suddenly charged with electricity and he punched Naruto in the stomach who didn't react other than punching Sasuke and then shooting him with a close range shot of the bubble attack that made Sasuke go flying quite the distance away.
Lee charged in and began to attack the boy at close range, who pulled out his z-saber and began to fight back. He finally got a punch in and he put his buster right up to the boys stomach and fired, which launched Lee away, but upon landing, they saw through his burnt jumpsuit that Naruto had shot him in an area where he had metal plating.
Neji immediately leapt in with Tenten and they began to attack him from either side, Neji going for brutality and not just his regular style and Tenten attacking with the laser sword.
Naruto was ignoring Neji while fighting back against Tenten since she had something that was a viable threat to him when suddenly Neji grabbed his arms and Tenten slashed him in the stomach…only for a small scratch to appear on the armor before he pulled his arms forward, pulling Neji along and then backwards headbutt the boy before flinging him at Tenten.
Just as he did this however, he was smashed by a giant fist before said fist was suddenly raised up and Naruto fired at Chouji, who Shikamaru immediately pushed out of the way.
Kin began to pepper Naruto with senbon while Ino threw a hail of kunai at him. He stared blankly before firing at both of them. Temari began to attack with her fan and the attacks were mostly bouncing off of the boy, but there were visible scratches appearing on the armor which made him smirk before he raised his buster and fired out a purple tornado that grabbed a few of the ninja and sent them flying while they sustained multiple slash wounds.
Suddenly a fist hit Naruto from one side and suddenly an electric punch hit him from the other side and that's when the blonde realized he was being double teamed by Sasuke and Lee.
They continued to pummel him and suddenly backed up as Kiba flew in with his signature attack and hit Naruto with in the chest. That made the boy fly back farther and more scratching started to appear on the armor, but he grabbed the boy mid spin and immediately flung him away. Just as he was about to fire, a katana hit his arm and threw his aim off before he turned and backhanded Sakura with his buster.
She flipped back onto her feet and charged in again while Sasuke and Lee attacked from different angles once more. Having had enough, he turned and fired a green saw blade at Lee who was trying to block the attack, but the saw was tearing his prosthetic arms apart and closing in on him.
Sakura slashed at Naruto repeatedly before Sasuke finished up the combo with a pulse punch that sent the boy back a few feet. He finally began to glow with a white energy and suddenly wings popped out from the side as he flew past Sasuke and Sakura, who were immediately knocked down.
When Sakura regained her senses, she looked at her hands and realized she was bleeding. She slowly sat up and she saw that Sasuke was also cut open by whatever that attack was and was currently hissing in pain as he held his slashed arms in front of him.
The blonde glanced at them before looking at Shino, who simply stood there and shook his head. "My bugs can't do anything to you it seems and my taijutsu is not on an acceptable level. I would be a hindrance in this fight." He said before picking up the knocked out Kiba and vanishing in a puff of smoke.
The blonde scoffed before turning around just in time to get slashed down his entire front by a laser blade. He looked shocked before he grabbed Tenten by the wrist, then slammed her into the ground a couple of times.
"You liar…" he heard, he dropped Tenten and looked over at Sakura who was sitting on her knees with tears in her eyes. "You liar! You promised me…you promised you wouldn't go maverick!" she shouted, but the blonde just grinned and began to walk towards her.
"I want Naruto back…" she whispered as he stopped in front of her and raised his buster, but everything seemed to stop when they heard a familiar charging noise. When everyone looked up in shock, they expected Naruto to be charging up to kill Sakura, but he looked just as surprised as them because he wasn't charging.
Suddenly they heard a firing noise and when they all turned, time seemed to go in slow motion as they watched a charged shot fly in and suddenly hit Naruto in the chest that sent him flying backwards.
Suddenly a figure in silver armor appeared directly in front of Sakura which made her eyes widen and glance up to see a familiar blonde standing in front of her with his buster aimed at the other blonde.
"Ask and you shall receive."
