Also when it say; Shift to Lightning, that means its going to Lightnings part of the story, and same with when it says; Shift to Noctis Etc.

Name: Noctis Lucis Caelum

Age: 15 turning 16 this year

Hair colour: Blue

Eye Colour: night sky blue

Personality: Shy, but hides it by acting "cool", quite, happy when with friends.

Little info: Noctis has been Lightning's best and oldest friend since they can remember, having both there parents been close, and made them even closer by the loss of Noctis's mum and Lightning's father at a young age, then the loss of her mother last year. However with recent events they have stopped talking to each other, afraid to say the least. Noctis is also close friends with Cloud Strife.

Serah Farron

Age: 12 turning 13 this year

Hair colour: Pink

Eye color: Blue

Personality: Kind, Nice, loving, and at times can be a little dare devil. Serah is the younger farron, younger sister to Lightning Farron. Lightning has looked after her since the death of their mum last year, and seeing as their farther passed away when they were younger lightning now takes care of her. Its is true that at time Serah looks up to lightnings friends as family.

Chapter start:

Lightning awoke, smelling something nice coming from down stairs. She throw the covers of her walking down stairs seeing her sister cook breakfast.

"What are you making" her older sister said

Serah put a plate infront of Claire her older sister, sliding on some pancakes. Lightning started eating as she looked up at Serah staring at her. Lightnings mouth was full, like she was really enjoying it.

"What..." She said trying not to show her food.

"You eat like such a pig" serah giggled

Lightning swolled her food "and..."

"Nothing..." Serah waited a moment "Um claire.."

As lightning was scoffing her face she replied with a blunt "yeah"

"Well... I was wonderi- " serah got interrupted

"What is it" lightning interrupted

"Um you know it doesnt matter, you would only get angry anyway"

"No what it is it" lightning demanded still scoffing her face"

"No it doesnt matter"

Lightning slammed her hand down with one fork in the other, staring at Serah angrily whilst chewing her food.

"OK, i was just wondering when you and Noctis were going to start being Bff's again sheesh"

"PFFFFT" lightning spat out her food almost choking and falling on the floor, holding her neck. She got back up "guh NO, i told you not to use those words"

Serah looked at Lightning with disgust on her face and rolled her eyes at her older sister at how childish she was being.

"You two are best friends."

"Were" lightning whispered

"You guys have been best friends since you were really little! You guys were acquaintances before i was born"

"Were acquaintances" lightning whispered again finishing her food.

"You know what this means" a small grin started coming up on Serah's face. Lightning closed her eyes and crossed her arms looking away from Serah. "Nope" lightning said

"It means you two... are in Love~" serah teased

Lightning went a frail pink in the face.

"You've been watching to much TV", lightning spat as she still looked away from her sisters face

"Ahhh you two would make such a cute couple" serah started clapping her hands together

Lightning squinted one eye open at serah who had now closed her eyes and started to nod to herself. Lightning pointed at Serah "Thats IT no more TV for you"

"Awww... How cute hmm hm" serah said as if she didn't hear what lightning had said

Lightning sat back down with her arms folded and her eyes closed.

"He he my sister and a prince, naw look at you" waving her hand up and down in the air.

"Tch aint gon-" Soon lightning got interupted

"My sister the most gorgeous girl in school and noctis the best looking"

Serah was right, Lightning was the best looking at her school. Many guys tried asking her out, even brought her flowers, wrote poems, and offered to take her out to dinner to try and impress her. And each time Lightning slamed the front door on all their faces. Lightning had never been kissed before and neither had Noctis. Noctis had the hole group of girls following him everywhere, hoping that one day he would ask one of them out but nope.. Never... Everrr.

Lightning drifted of remembering when Noctis asked her for help to scare away all these girls that were stalking him. She lagit beat the crap out of all of them when she was only ten years old. But because of what happened on the last day last year she has been so annoyed to talk to him.

Serah spoke which striped lightning away from her thoughts "Why don't you just talk to him about it?"

"Ahahaha... No" -.-

"Ooh please, come-on"

"No" -.-'

"Why dont you invite him here today? You two can spend time together"

Lightnings look said it all!

"Maybe"

"Really!"

"N. O spells no"

They both dropped the conversation and left for school. Serah kissed her sisters cheek good bye and left tocatch up to her friends. They had left earlier today, serah didnt say anything just went with it. Lightning looked at her watch it said: 8:01am, lightning caught the bus from the nearest stop to Noctis's house. She jumped of the bus and slowly walked up to his front door which felt like a 100 steps! The doors were huge. She had been there many times before, but this time, this time felt different. She knocked on the front doors untill one of the maids answered.

"This is for prince noctis, he dropped it." Lightning handed the maid his headphones and a letter.

"Thank you, would you like to come in Miss Farron". The maid responded with a bow. Just then lightning realised that she knew this maid.

"No, thank you. I was just passing through". Lightning returned as well with a bow

Lightning left to wait for her bus. Noctis walked out his bathroom that was linked to his room in no other than a towl rapped around his lower half. Noctis saw a piece of paper and a small bag on his bed.

-Whats this- he thought

He walked up towards it, lifting up the piece of paper and reading it.

To Noctis

You dropped these outside the music room. I thought i should return them.

-Light

He was surprised when he read that it was from Lightning. He looked inside the bag and saw that his headphones that he dropped were inside the bag. He couldnt stop himself from gaining a smile on his face. He got dressed, cleaned his teeth, and went to school. Before he went to his art class he wrote a small letter and stuck it in lightning's locker. He turned into his art class sitting next to Lightning.

Lightning heard a word leave Noctis's lips

"Good morning Light" with a slight morning smile "Good morning" lightning repeated giving a very faint smile towards him.

It was about 20minutes into the lesson and Lightning was rapidly tapping her pen against the table. She looked over her shoulder to see that Noctis was almost finished.

-I cant believe im going to say this-

"Noctis.."

Noctis turned to his left "yeah"

Both their eyes meet. Lightning looked at her table "could you please help me" she whispered.

"Sure".

Noctis told lightning how to sketch, but she was too clumsy with her hand. She started to shake, she closed her eyes about to touch her arm to stop it from shaking untill she felt a warm grip on her hand. She opened her eyes to see that Noctis had put his hand around her hand and was slowly moving it in a left and right direction. Lightning was sticking out her tongue again and was concentrating really hard until Noctis started laughing.

"Whats so funny?" Still concentrating

"You are" he said while still drawing with her hand. "You allways stick your tongue out when your concentrating"

"No i do not" she stopped to look at him

"Yeah you do, whether its, art, music, homework, or various other things"

She stopped to realise. "And" she looked at him with an odd face.

Noctis started to laugh even harder. "Your facial expressions". "You!" lightning waked him on the back of the head while she was pouting. "pfft" they both said in unison while they both started to laugh. Then lightning "slipped" and almost pushed him of his chair making them both laugh even harder, till they started crying. They were both mucking around and laughing during the rest of the session. At the end of the session Lightning went to the bathroom to wipe away her teary eyes. She checked her phone which she had a message.

'Cloud'

Is Noctis really that entertaining?

Lightning laughed at that even though it was a serious question. Lightning took a seat next to Tifa in Chemistry class, they were just talking about whats new, fashion, shoes, not dresses. When class started Tifa went to go get the equipment where Lightning had set up the table ready for their experiment. Noctis looked over at Lightning, they both looked at each other, sort of sending a message to each other to see who would muck up the experiment first (both being bad at chemistry). Tifa put some bicarbonate soda into a test tube, then looked up at Lightning who was doodling on a piece of paper.

"Psst Light what are you doing" she whispered

"Well its what you would call making a note" lightning whispered back to Tifa as she folded the piece of paper into an airplane shape.

"Who's this for?". Tifa asked looking slightly dumbfounded. Lightning chucked the piece of paper "you'll see". They both watched the piece of paper as it drifted in the air and landed in front of Cloud and Zack.

"Why did you write cloud and Zack a note?" Tifas eyes widened, "its instruction, we don't want a repeat of last time" lightning replied turning back to her own work "oh that is true Lightning, but even so i don't think those instructions will help much", "it should stop them from blowing something up though" lightning told tifa, both girls shrugged.

About half an hour later and Lightning started to speak until there was a large bang. Everyone turned around to where the sound had come from, it was Cloud and Zack they must have did the experiment wrong or something. They looked completely mummy fried. Black faces, and holes in their shirts. Everyone started laughing.

"Haha i knew it" tifa laughed

Shift to break time

It was lunch time and Lightning and her gang went outside to enjoy their lunch. Lightning and her gang sit at the far end of the school which has a large tree that you could either sit under or on the branches, there was also a table about three feet away from the tree that you could sit on.

Shift to Noctis

However Noctis usually sits with the 'socially-cool-popular' group since he was dragged into it by all the 'Cool people'.

Noctis looked up to the sky then back down and around the school in search of some of his -real- friends to sit with but that ended up with nothing successful. -They must be sitting in the usual- he sighed

Shift to Lightning

Lightning was casually siting on a branch of the tree eating away at her lunch as she looked around and then up to the beautiful sky above her. She closed her eyes then took a deep breath of the lovely air around her.

"Hey Light!" Cloud called out

Lightning shot her eyes open and nearly fell of the branch, surprised at her name suddenly called out, she looked down to see Cloud below her with his hand over his mouth in order to give a direct shout to lightning so she could hear him.

Lightning repositioned her self on the branch "yeah!" She called back

"Sorry for stunning you" cloud apologised, "its all right, what do you want?" Lightning asked. "Make some room" he replied, "oh". Lightning moved so there was enough room for two, Cloud grabbed on the base of the tree and started to clime until he got to the branch that lightning was on. He sat down next to her and they started a conversation between each other.

A few minutes had passed and the conversation went from fighting to explosions which reminded lightning of the accident in chemistry class which made her snicker.

"Hmm whats so funny Light?" Cloud asked confused and what made lightning snicker. "Just.. funny to see you in chemistry class is all" lightning said as she poked through one of the hole in his sweater.

"That wasn't funny light" Cloud said as a pout formed on his mouth, lightning laughed.

"Should have followed my instructions then"

"I did!" Cloud protested. Lightning narrowed her eyes at him, "well not exactly" as he ruffled his hair from the back and looked away. Lightning rolled her eyes "such a muppet" she whispered

"Hmm what was that?" Cloud asked

"Oh nothing" just then Lightning pushed Cloud of the branch and watched him fall on the floor, luckily thanks to cloud grabbing on to a branch just before it broke off managed to break his fall.

"Ow" cloud whimpered. The group looked at him then at lightning and went back to what ever it is that they were doing after snickering and laughing. Lightning jumped down next to cloud who was still lying on the ground.

"That hurt" Cloud said as he through one hand over his eyes to block them from the sun

"You still got black dust in you hair, you big oaf" lightning bent down and started to brush the black dust out of his hair. Cloud sat up and brushed some of it out as well.

Lightning was brushing out the black dust out of clouds hair when she failed to notice something touching her cheek. Cloud and someone behind her started to laugh. Lightning snapped out of her desire to get the black out of clouds hair when she herd him and someone laughing "Hmm" lightning looked at cloud then at Zack who was behind her and touched her face (which they seemed to be laughing at) then looked at her hand to see a smug of black dust across her fingers. Moments passed as lightning turned her head like a robot to look at cloud then the same to Zack as she realised what had just happened.

"You fools!" Lightning yelled as the two older boys began running away with Lightning chasing behind them.
