"What do you mean Bookman left!?" Yelled a stressed white head. "I'm sorry Allen, but Bookman came to me a gave me his innocence and said to watch over Lavi." Komui said, leaning against his desk. Rubbing his face, Allen could feel tears welling up in his eyes. Memories of his past when he was a kid flashing threw his mind. Imagining the pain of what he went though put onto Lavi made him even more upset.

Cross pulls Allen onto his lap, and whispers into his ear. Allen takes a deep breath, and shakes his head. Cross makes Allen look up at him, and wipes his tears away. Allen turns to face Cross, and hides his face into Cross's neck. "W-what about everyo-one else? Do th-they know?" Allen suddenly turns to look at Komui. "What about Lavi?!"

Komui walks over to Allen and puts his hands on his shoulders. "Kanda and Lenalee are out on a mission, so they don't know but," Allen felt the pressure from Komui's hands on his shoulders leave. "We can't keep Lavi awake long enough t-" The office door slams open to show the head nurse covered in blood. "Head nurse!" Komui runs up to the old woman, with Allen and Cross right behind him. "It's Lavi..."

Everyone ran to Lavi's room, there was blood all over Lavi's forehead. Allen covered his mouth, and hid his face in Cross's shirt. Cross hugged Allen's head as he talked. "What's going on?" Cross demanded. The head nurse took a deep breath, and lets is out. "Lavi's getting Crosses on his forehead. The bleeding keeps getting worse." The head nurse grabs some of the supplies to clean up the open wound.

"He's turning into a Noah." When she finished wrapping up the wound on his forehead, she checks his pulse. She wrote something down on Lavi's chart, and turns back to Komui."What should we do?" Komui closed his eyes thinking. "Keep him asleep, and watch him closely. Make sure no one enters this room, but you." The head nurse nods her head understanding.

Komui turned to leave, patting Allen on the shoulder. "Come." And they left.

...

Lavi's mind:

"Deak are you ready?"Road jumps onto Deak's back. Deak wipes his eyes. "Yes." He replied. Deak sat down on the ground as Road tilts his head back and kissed his forehead. A little cross appeared on his head. "Be careful." Was the last thing he heard before everything went black.

With Lavi:

A bright light flashed around the room, as the light died down, you can see a eighteen with flaming red hair, and one blue eye. "Lavi, it's me Deak." Deak rested his hand on Lavi's head slowly rubbing his hair. "I missed you." Deak leaned down, and kissed his forehead. "And I'm sorry." He removed Lavi's eye patch to show a small cross on the eye lid.

Deak chanted a small spell causing the cross to turn from black to red. "I call the Gods, to release and awaken, this seal. To revive what is gone." Blood started to seep through the bandages on Lavi's forehead, causing the bandages to dampen.

Lavi groaned in pain, trying to move from what was causing it. "We're almost done Lavi." Deak whispered. Lavi's skin, darkened, then turned completely ash grey. All of a sudden his eyes flash open, his mouth opened in a painful scream. "AHHHH-Guh!" Lavi's eyes turned from green to gold.

When Deak finished the chant, Lavi's eyes slowly closed. As he fell asleep Deak heard. "Why?" Deak looks at Lavi to see, a golden eye and a green eye string back at him. As they closed, he said. "Because you're my little brother."
