Lightning got back home, lucky she wasn't working tonight. She had the whole place to herself. She went into her bathroom and took a shower then put on a long white baggy shirt and a pair of really small shorts. She had ordered pizza and watched a movie whilst serah was over at a friends house.

It was 6:00pm...

[knock knock]

Lightning was thinking who could that be. Is it her sister, did something bad happen, is she alright. A million thoughts came into her mind, she ran to the door and opened it only to be shocked when she saw Noctis standing out side her door way. Lightning looked to the right, behind him and to the left of him then finally looked at him...

"Sorry wrong door"

She slammed the door shut, right in his face. She continued watching TV eating chips. Untill...

[knock knock]

"Piss off No ones home" she yelled not taking her eyes of the TV.

Lightning could hear it starting to rain. She heard her phone go off. She clicked one new message.

Noct

You wanted to speak to me?

- The hell's he saying- Lightning was confused, she sent back...

What are you talking about?

Noct

You sent me a message in the morning

Saying to come over at six...

Lightning went to the front door and he was standing there. He showed her the message.

"What the.. I didn-"it had just hit lightning and she started to get angry. Serah had borrowed lightning's phone to play chocobo run this morning.

-Yeah right- she thought. Looking up. -What am i going to do? I cant leave him out here... Then again- lightning was in deep thought

"Hey.. Um ligh-"

Lightning grabed his shirt and pulled him through the front door.

There was a moment of silence...

"So um" noctis rubbed the back of his head.

"You can stay untill the rain goes away".

Lightning went back to her couch and continued watching TV.

Noctis looked at lightning noticing that she was ready for bed. And was going a very bright red at the sight of her bare legs. Noctis began to go light headed, until he shook it off.

"Light i have something to explain to you"

"Hmm" she replied

"Is that a... Yes?"

Lightning just grunted, she closed her eyes and crossed her arms.

Noctis sat down on a single seat. Resting his elbows on his knees and rubbing his hands in his hair.

"Well you have something to say" lightning groaned

"Yeah its about... L-last.. Y-year"

"Stop stuttering or ill punch you in the face. you know i hate that" She looked away in disgust.

Noctis was taken by shock "AHH- eh y-ye-... I mean.. Gah sor-"

SMACK!

Noctis was hit in the face

"Oww ow ow ow" he rolled around on the floor. Lightning looked at her fist.

"Do i really hit that hard" she spoke

"YES!" Noctis said still rolling around

"Eh Shut It!"

"Your the one who punched me" noctis slowly rose from the ground

"Then stop stuttering!"

"Stop hitting"

"Shut Up Caelum!"

"Farron!"

The two grabbed each other and started to wrestle whilst saying insults at the other.

"MORON"

"STUBBORN BITCH"

"ASSHOLE OF A PRINCE"

"PINK HAIRED FREAK"

"SNOT NOSED BRAT"

"MUPPET" noctis roared

"Muppet?" Lightning questioned "what are you a fish in the sea?!"

"PAH! fish in the sea... Ill show you a wave of fury" noctis again roared

"PFFT! Oh Please.. Ive Seen Bigger Waves In My Cup of Tea" lightning rolled her eyes

After more fighting and arguing the two finally gave in and laid on the floor.

"You came to say something, so say it" lightning seated her self oh the sofa.

Noctis got up and dusted himself of "Right i forgot why i came here" "ahem" noctis cleared his throat and stood there.

"What are you waiting for? An invitation!" Lightning was getting very agitated. Noctis took a long deep breath. A loooooooooooooong suffocating deep breath. Then all of a sudden~

"LIGHTNING IM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SORRY" noctis jumped to his knees, grabbed lightnings hands and kept apologising. "IM SOOOOOOOO SORRY!" He looked up at her face with puppy dog eyes and what looked like tiny beads of baby tears coming from his eyes. Lightning gawked at the sight, she found it extremely hard not to laugh.

"I-" lightning started but was interrupted

"Sorry! Im so sorry!"

Again lightning tried to speak "I-"

"Light please listen it wasnt my fault"

"I-" again cut off

"Lightning please I-" SMACK!

Lightning punched him again in the face

"SHUT UP! And let me finish my sentence you piece of.. Oooh... For the love of Etro" lightning slumped in the sofa.

"Owwww" noctis whimpered

"Like i was saying. I-"

- AH AN ACCEPTATION - Noctis mentally cheered in his mind and did back flips.

"Do not except" lightning finished

-She ACCEPTED!- noctis yelled in his mind. Then it hit him what she actually said

"Wait... WHAT!"

"What do you mean you dont accept, you didnt let me tell you the full story" he tried to explain

"Well maybe that was because you were basically crying me a river with those tears of yours"

"Hack-" noctis crossed his arms and pouted

"You look like a prick" lightning replied

"Eh let me tell you the fully story. NO interruptions"

What truly happened that faithful day wahahaha cough cough?!

This all happened last year.

A noctis and a prompto were sneaking around the castle of Lucis.

"There it is" Noctis whispered

"What a beauty" Prompto lashed out

"Ssssh not so loud"

Both boys slowly snuck around a brand new car the king had got, it was the newest model a car as fast as the wind. Noctis and Prompto grabbed the keys from the key ring holder and went into the car.

"So nice and comfy" Prompto said "ready to take it for a test ride?"

"Hmm no no, if we were caught.."

"Come'n Noct, we take it out and bring it back in one piece. Not in less you wanna be known as a wimpy snot nose prince. The boys at school will never stop teasing you if you don't do this" prompto put one hand over his friends shoulder.

"I dont care what others think of me"

"Thats not true and you know it. All we have to do is do over the speed limit a little and go past the school and then the'll stop teasing you... and well... me too"

"Hmm ok i guess so, why not"

"All right!" Prompto sat in the drivers seat and started up the car

"You know what your doing right" noctis raised a brow at prompto

"Relax man i got this".

The engine started and they pulled the car put the drive way. About 10 minutes later they were well away from the castle a doing about 10mph over the speed limit. They drove past the school and saw the boys who were teasing them and flipped the bird (you know the finger).

"Woo HOO!" Both boys said "lucky none of us have motion sickness" noctis yelled over the roaring sound of the engine. Both boys laughed and started to do more and more over the speed limit untill they started losing control of the car.

"Shit Noct, this is not good"

"No no no Prompto dont go saying that, i think u need to break"

"Thats the thing... ive been trying"

"SHIT Prompto stop!" Noctis yelled grabbing hold of the steering wheel.

They had sped past the school and was now losing control of the car.

Down the street. "Hey Light" Serah tugged on her sisters arm

"Hmm what is it Serah" lightning looked to where serah was pointing at

- What the Heck is that - lightning thought. The black vehicle started making its way faster and faster, not to mention closer to the Farron sisters

"SHIT" lightning grabbed serah and chucked her outta the way and lifter her arms above her face

"DUDE thats lightning" noctis yelled and pulled the steering wheel and far around as he could. The car smashed into the tree just barley scraping by lightning and stopped. Lightning fell to her knees and thanked etro that she was still alive. "Prompto are you alright" noctis asked with a few scratched possibly a few broken bones. "Yeah man... B-barley alright"

"What. The . Actual. Fuck. CAELUM!" Lightning snapped back to reality when she saw who was in the passenger seat. "Caelum get your SWEET ass out here".

"Fuck thats lightning" noctis looked at her and saw her violently storming towards him. "Prompto quick get up and leave" he looked over at his friend who was stuck and couldn't get out.

- Wait a minute... I Cant Get Out Either - noctis mind was running miles

Lightning ripped the door open to Noctis and pulled him out.

"Why you little-"

"SNAP" "SNAP SNAP SNAP" lightning looked up to see cameras flashing at them.

"Oh what the" lightning put one hand over her eyes to shield them from the flashes. Many more cars pulled over. Police cars to be more exact.

The next week

'Lovers crash' was on the top of the newspaper. Lightning had been interviewed with what happened and left with no charges seeing as she was not a member who was in the car. Noctis and Prompto were both charged and suspended from leaving the perimeter of their houses.

A moment of pure awkwardness

"I could kill you" lightning remarked. "If you were being teased you could have said something to me and i would have dealt with it... Stupid whiny prince"

"Yeah but your a girl and their boys"

"Why the hell should that matter! I've beaten up half the population of boys already"

Noctis scratched the back of his head and looked away "but it was my problem that i had to de-" lightning interrupted

"Keep going the way your going and ill rake a fork up your ass"

"S-so stubborn"

Lightning glared at him "what was that!"

"N-nothing!"

"So the full story is. You were being bullied, stole your dads car, drove past the school and gave those boys the finger, almost killed me and my sister, and got a lovely photo of us on the newspaper with the lovely caption 'Lovers Crash'"

"Well i guess if thats how you wanna put it"

"Can it Caelum", "you owe me for embarrassing me and for almost killing me and Serah"

"Yes sir" noctis saluted, lightning rolled her eyes.

"So.." Lightning looked at noctis

"So.."

"Where does this leaves us now?"

Noctis just shrugged "you forgive, you forget."

Lightning whispered to herself with a glare at noctis "you forgive, you for..." The rest was mumbled.

About five minutes later the rain started to get heavier.

Both lightning and noctis made their way over to the window.

A fist collided with noctis's arm.

"Ow!"

"Hah looks like your gonna be going out in this" lightning evilly smiled

Noctis shot a glare at lightning

"What? You got a personal driver" she crossed her arms and waited for a reply

"Yeah well i told him i would walk home"

"Pfft your bad prince"

"Well how was i suppose to know it was gonna piss down with rain"

"Perhaps you should have checked the forecast weather."

Noctis just stood there all grumpy. Lightning sighed.

"Like i said you can stay here in till the rain goes but as soon as it stops im kicking you out!" Lightning made her way back to the sofa

"Hmm really, thanks." Noctis moved so he was sitting next to her. About another hour of just small talk and eating, the two fell asleep.
