Yo! I'm back bitches! Yup. Writing to this again. Man this took a fucking while to get out. I just recently got inspired to write to this again. Right now my plan is to finish SAO Arc within the next three chapters. So, that would be a Kitass chapter that we leave in. I don't know how long I'll make the ALO Arc however...
Okay, so for this I may or may not need Ocs. I guess if you want you can submit, if I get people I'll use them. If I don't, then no big deal, the story won't suffer for it though. So feel free, any Oc I get I'll find a way to implement somehow.

I, myself am not a very nice, or good girl. I've been stuck in bad situation after bad situation since starting this god forsaken game. But, I'm happy here nonetheless. It's become my home, my sanctuary. Well my friends have become my sanctuary.
"I'm so bored though!" Joey said, Kitass glanced at her, and gave her a strange look. They were in the dungeon under the Town of Beginnings going to kill a Skeleton Boss.
"We're doing a fucking quest. What are you talking about?" Kitass asked, Joey smiled at him,
"Well we haven't fought a monster in like five minutes. And I hate walking." Joey said, Kitass sighed.
"I'm not gonna carry you." He said. Joey glared at him.
"Why not?" Joey demanded, Kitass shook his head at her. She crossed her arms at him.
"Because. You complain too much." Kitass said, Joey glared at him.
"I do not, you fucking liar!" Joey yelled. Kitass sighed.
"I never lie, my dear Joey." Kitass said, before patting her on her head, she glared at him.
"Don't say things like 'my dear' unless you want me to get the wrong idea." Joey said, smirking at him, he blushed.
"I didn't mean it like that." He stammered, she smiled at him. He looked away from her, back ahead, Joey frowned.
"I know. Let's just continue the quest." Joey said, Kitass nodded, and continued on.
I won't lie to you, I am attracted to Kitass, to a certain extent. I know he is happy with Ryder, but I still want to have a chance in his heart, he gives all these mixed signals. Like sometimes it's like he wants to be with me too. But I know better, he wouldn't want a klutz like me, but the first time we met, I will never forget. It changed everything for me.
"I'm just saying." Kitass said, Ryder glared at him.
"Fine. Then you can do that, while I go sell our items." Ryder told him, irritation in her voice, he frowned as she turned around and started to walk off, he grabbed her arm.
"Hey, I don't want you to leave all mad at me." Kitass said, Ryder turned her head to glare at him.
"Don't piss me off." She told him. Joey watched the scene from afar, using her detection skill, next to her was Andulin. He was a member of The Friends of Blue Sarah. The Guild Joey was currently working for.
"That's our target?" Joey asked, blushing slightly. Andulin nodded at her.
"Yes. Both of them, which do you want?" Andulin asked, Joey had already made up her mind as Kitass, and Ryder separated, each heading in a different direction.
"I'll take Kitass. That's his name right?" Joey asked, Andulin nodded. They got up from their position on the roof, they were wearing cloaks with built in cloaking for thirty minutes. They separated. Their mission was to steal as many items as they could, and all their Col.
Joey jumped off of the roof, and landed in an alley way, she unequipped her cloak, and ran; straight into Kitass. He yelled, as he fell on the ground, Joey was lying on top of him, she smiled down at him.
"Hi! You're Kitass right?" Joey asked, a light blush on her face, Kitass nodded. Joey gave him a smile. "Good, because I was wondering, do you want to party up with me? Do a quest or two?" Joey asked, Kitass smirked at her.
"Sure. But, I can't do any of that while I have a cute girl on top of me. It's distracting." Kitass told her, Joey climbed off of him, and helped him up. She sent him a party request that he accepted, she saw his guild logo. It was a blue heart with a white background.
"Okay. So, let's go!" Joey said, Kitass nodded and they walked together, and accepted a quest from an NPC near the edge of town. They had to go clear a cave of Rancid Wasps, and Dirge Bears. They would get a rare item if they also killed the Queen of the Wasps, and the Mother of the Bears.
"So, how did you know who I was?" Kitass asked, she shrugged. She had to play this right, refrain from telling him that he was her target, and he would have no Col or Items after the quest.
"You're from the Front Lines. Almost everyone on the Front Lines is famous." Joey said, which was true. It was basically the elite players of SAO. Well, the known elite players.
"Yeah. But I'm not as famous as Asuna, or Kirito." He told her, she nodded. Everyone had heard of those two.
"True, but still you and Ryder are pretty well known." Joey told him, he seemed to accept that. Good, the less conversation the better. She didn't want to spill anything about her mission.
"I can accept that. So, you never did tell me your name." Kitass said, Joey thought about this. She was a thief, but she liked to think that she was unknown enough to use her real name which proved how good she was at not being caught. She'd also like to think that she was feared for her skills, and her name was known throughout the game as the best thief it had ever seen.
"Joey." She said simply, hoping he wouldn't know who she was, but also hoping he did, but stayed with her anyway because of her charm, and cuteness.
"Joey… I like it. What were you doing in Antilana?" Kitass asked her, she shrugged.
"I was on business." She answered him simply, she was trying to be as honest as possible, even if she was planning on robbing him blind. But, did he actually deserve it? Of course he did! He was a top player in SAO, he could easily get more col, and items.
"Oh. Ryder and I came here because we were selling some items off." Kitass told her, she nodded. They arrived at the cave in no time, Kitass drew his sword. Joey pulled a dagger out.
"You only use a dagger?" Kitass asked, Joey nodded.
"Swords are too cumbersome." She told him, he rolled his eyes.
"This game is called 'Sword Art Online'" He said, stressing the word 'Sword' she just rolled her eyes at him.
"Just lead on." She said, he nodded and entered the cave, Joey followed behind him, after they were about twenty paces into the cave rocks fall and blocked the entrance. "Shit!" Joey yelled, looking back at the rocks. "Well how the fuck are w-" Kitass clamped a hand over her mouth.
"Quiet!" He whispered as the cave lit up with torches on the walls, revealing about a hundred wasps, and twenty bears. The bears seemed to be waking up, the wasps had not seen Kitass and Joey yet, because they only saw things based on movement.
Kitass and Joey exchanged a look, before Joey pulled out several thin knives, she threw them accurately at the wasps, killing six of them, this caused the others to swarm the two, Kitass and Joey managed to fight them off while remaining above critical health, when the bears charged at them.
"Kitass bend over!" Joey yelled as she killed a wasp, she had her back to Kitass, before she jumped towards the entrance, the bears were charging at Kitass, she had to time this right.
"Joey!" Kitass yelled, panicked, before Joey ran towards him, and used his back as a stepping stone as she launched into the air, she came down on a bear and stabbed it in the head, killing it, using her momentum to leap to another, and then another, she repeated this several more times before a bear bit her leg, Kitass ran in and killed it.
He handed her a healing crystal and defended her while she used it, by the time they killed all the enemies they both had critical health, and were sitting back to back on the floor.
"Fuck…" Kitass muttered, he would use another healing crystal but he promised Ryder he would only use one, and he had given it to Joey. She handed him a potion.
"Take it." She told him, he nodded and took the potion, smiling as his health went back up. They stood up and smiled at each other.
"Nowhere to go but further into the cave huh?" Kitass said, with a slight laugh, before bending over and taking a few more deep breaths.
"Yeah. You sure you're good?" Joey asked him, she was concerned. You bond with someone after you almost die a couple times and you kill everything in sight you know.
"I'm fine. Joey." Kitass told her, before the both of them moved on through the cave. They encountered the Queen of the Wasps, and defeated her with relative ease, before they found and killed the Mother of the Bears.
They exited the cave, and returned to the NPC to collect on their reward. Once they did, before they parted ways, Joey insisted on hugging Kitass, for an extended period of time, Ryder saw, and ran towards them.
"Kitass, she's a thief!" Ryder yelled, Kitass looked down at Joey to see her smile, before she pushed him away and ran off. Joey ran through the alley ways. Hoping to escape them, she ended up running into a boy in black.
"Ow…" He muttered, she recognized him as Kirito, the Beater.
"You tell me, second time that's happened today." Joey muttered, this gave Kitass and Ryder time to catch up to her, Ryder pulled her up and shoved her against a wall, and Kitass helped Kirito up.
"What's this about exactly?" Kirito asked, he recognized the two from Boss Raids and such.
"This little bitch is a thief!" Ryder yelled, Kirito nodded. "And I'm gonna kill her!"
"There's no need for violence, maybe just take your items back. No need to waste life in this game, imprison her if anything more." Kirito suggested.
"What! No! Don't imprison me! I promise I'll be good! Just… How about you let me work it off, do some more quests until I can repay you!" Joey yelled.
"What do you mean repay us? It should all still be in your inventory." Kitass said, Joey shrugged.
"I'm married to another member of the Guild who sells everything off as soon as I collect. See!" Joey yelled, opening her menu and showing her inventory to reveal that it was empty. Ryder shoved her against the wall again and began to pace.
"God damn fuck! Shit! Mother fucking asshole! Bitch, slutty cunt! I'm gonna kill you!" Ryder yelled lunging at Joey who cowered in a corner, Kitass stopped his wife. "Let go of me!"
"Ryder, we can get our stuff back if we find the NPC, or Player he sold it to." Kitass tried to reason with her, when Kirito noticed something.
"Wait a sec! She's lying! She's using a skill to mask her menu from others eyes!" Kirito yelled.
"Okay! But, that's not all of the truth, you still lost all your Col! He puts it into Guild Storage! I can't access it without becoming second in command, so you need me alive!" Joey pleaded, Ryder and Kitass exchanged looks.
"Sounds fair." They agreed.
And that's when we started a string of quests to make sure I could get their stuff back, when I did, he got mad. Tried to kill me, so I ran. I told them about a quest to try and win back his favor, but I was lying. Old habits are hard to break, I blame it on my Kleptomania. I stole a rare quest reward from them and ran into Dethunter. That's when our real friendship started.
"Ryder you did it!" Joey yelled as Ryder just maxed out her speed skill, Ryder smiled proudly.
"Yeah I did! I think I'm the first one!"
"Check if you got a unique skill! Like Kirito, and that other douche!" Joey yelled.
"Heathcliff." Ryder told her, opening her menu and going to her skills.
"Right, right! Who gives a shit?" Joey asked, as Ryder scrolled down her list of Skills.
"Hey, I think I did! It's called Lux Aeterna." Ryder exclaimed, Joey looked at it.
"Select it." Joey told her.
"Okay." Ryder said, before selecting it. As soon as she did her menu faded away, and her vision was blocked by a bright light. She closed her eyes to stop it, but it didn't work. Soon enough the light faded, and she opened her eyes to see everything brighter. She felt alive, and she looked down to see that she was floating above the ground. She descended and drew her sword, it glowed a bright white, and didn't look solid, just a collected sword of light, but it had weight. It was her sword.
"Damn girl... You were fucking flying!" Joey yelled, Ryder shook her head.
"I was technically floating Joey." Ryder reminded her, Joey shrugged.
"Who gives a shit? You're the fastest player in the game! Definitely in top ten." Joey said.
"I think that latest rank was Heathcliff, Kirito, and... I don't know, Asuna was up there somewhere. But I doubt I am. My stamina is terrible, and my reaction time is about half way done. Nowhere near other people. Along with everything except my speed, and attack." Ryder said, Joey shrugged.
"Doesn't matter. You're the fastest, and you're pretty strong too." Joey said, as the form ended. She pulled a small knife from her belt, and threw it at Ryder, it hit her in the arm.
"Ow! You fucking bitch!" Ryder yelled, advancing on Joey, who held one of her hands up with a smile, readying a Teleport Crystal behind her back.
"Your reaction time sucks. And that's not the only thing about you that sucks, if you know what I mean." Joey said, mischievously, Ryder let out an enraged noise, and lunged at her, Joey teleported away. She teleported into the town where Kitass and Ryder lived, and looked around. She happened to be in front of their house.
"Hey, Joey. What's up?" She heard a deep voice ask, she turned to see Agil smiling at her. She waved to him as he walked over.
"Nothing much. Just escaped Ryder trying to kill me. I should probably hide..." Joey muttered, opening her inventory, and selecting a cloak, that hid her when she put the hood up. Agil laughed loudly at her.
"You really get on her bad side a lot. Have you seen Silica around, I was supposed to meet her here. She wanted some special type of food for Pina." Agil told her, Joey shrugged.
"I haven't seen her in a few days." Joey answered him with a shrug, he hummed.
"Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried about her. Do you want to help me look for her?" Agil asked, Joey nodded.
"Sure. I can help. Got nothing else to do." Joey said, Agil invited her to a party, and she accepted. He selected his friends list from his menu, and found Silica. She was in the Town of Beginnings.
I remember the first day here. When that one guy announced that we were all trapped. I kind of panicked. This was scary, this wasn't normal, or good. It was terrifying that someone could, or even would do this. That's when I became a criminal, I figured I didn't have that long of a lifespan anyway in here, so why not? I was so wrong...
"Who are you?" Joey asked, the man smiled at her.
"I'm Devon, and you are?" He replied Cooley, offering his hand. Most people had left the plaza, but stayed in town. A few left, but most stayed.
"Joey. That was so scary." Joey told him, he nodded. "I don't think I can make it... I want to survive, but I'm not good enough." Joey said, Devon shrugged, and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, I have a solution, if you're up for it?" He offered, she glanced at him.
"What is it?"
"We could always steal. I usually do in RPGs. NPCs won't miss a few Col, and they're easy targets, but Players will have the most. We steal from the rich ones, we can survive." Devon told her, she shifted.
"Won't that be wrong though? What if they get killed?" Joey wondered, Devon shook his head.
"We won't take it all. A few Col here, a few there. If we stood just one Col from every person here, we would have enough to survive." He told her, she nodded.
"I guess you're right. But I don't know how."
"Let me show you." He said, walking up to a guy, and lingering behind him. A few seconds later he returned and showed Joey a menu that highlighted what he stole.
"That looked easy enough."
"It was. Just reach your hand out, and hold it close, a menu will pop up asking if you want to steal. Try it on her." He ordered pointing to a girl with long white hair. Joey walked up, and held her hand near the girls ass. A menu popped up like Devon said, Joey selected that she only wanted Col, her heart rate increased, and her hand started shaking.
Was she really doing this? Going to become a Criminal? Could she even do it? Joey shut her eyes and pressed the button. She didn't see that she hit 'Steal all.' Instead of 'Steal 1.' She walked back to Devon, and showed him Her work, he smiled at her.
"Good job! You just watch Joey. I'm good at being a criminal, one day, I'll run my own guild of Thieves!" He exclaimed to her, she nodded.
There it was, the first time I met Devon. Also the first time I interacted with Ryder. I didn't know it at the time, and I still feel awful about it. I just hope she never finds out. I know it was wrong. But I was confused. I'm better now. I think. Anyway, I was ahead of myself. I realized I never told you why I was in that cave, remember that? In the beginning with Kitass, this is how I got there.
"Man, where is she?" Joey wondered aloud. She was in the Town of Beginnings with Agil. They were still looking for Silica.
"I don't know. The map said she was here." Agil said. Checking again. The Map still showed Silica in the Town of Beginnings. But they had searched the whole town, and nothing.
"Is that Kitass?" Joey asked, as she saw him running down the street, Agil nodded, and they took off after him. "Kitass!" Joey yelled, Kitass stopped, and turned around, only to have Joey run into him, and land on him. She smiled at him. "Hi."
"Hey Joey. Hey Agil. I would ask what you're doing here, but a cute little Klutz is on top of me." Kitass said, Joey lightly blushed, and pushed herself up. Kitass got up, and dusted himself off.
"We were looking for Silica, you seen her?" Agil asked, Kitass shook his head.
"No. I was looking for her though. I was supposed to give this item to her for Lis. She crafted it for her. Why do you need her?" Kitass asked the two.
"I got a special type of food for Pina." Agil informed him, Kitass nodded.
"Well... Let's find her together then. Also, Joey why is Ryder hunting you, and did you know she got a Unique skill?" Kitass asked, Joey smiled at him.
"Yup. She's officially the fastest player in the game. And I was testing her reaction time, it's shit." Joey told him casually, he shook his head.
"Let's go then." Kitass said. He walked off, the others followed him.
"So, that's three now." Agil said, Kitass looked at him.
"What now?" Kitass asked, Agil looked at him.
"Three players with unique skills. Heathcliff, Kirito, and now Ryder." Agil said, Kitass nodded.
"Yup. Seems like it. Speaking of Kirito..." Kitass said, as he saw the fellow Beater. He waved, and Kirito walked over. He was travelling with a woman, Asuna, and a little girl.
"Hey, what's up?" Kirito asked, the little girl stared at the three.
"Do you know where Silica is? The map says she's here." Kitass told him, bringing up the map, and showing it to Kirito, who looked at it, then looked to the woman.
"Could she be in that dungeon?" Kirito asked, the woman nodded. "There's a dungeon that runs underneath the Town of Beginnings. Were heading there now, you're welcome to come along if you want." Kirito told them, they nodded and followed them.
"Who's the kid Kirito?" Agil asked the boy, who looked back at Yui talking with Joey and laughing.
"That's Yui. She's this girl we found in the forest. We were seeing if her parents were here, but they aren't. I guess we... Kinda adopted her." Kirito told his friend, who gave him a strange look. Kitass was talking with Asuna.
"How has your honeymoon been?" Kitass asked, Asuna smiled.
"It's been great! Me, and Kirito have spent everyday together. How was your date with Ryder?" Asuna asked, Kitass smiled at the memory.
"Amazing. We agreed to continue this IRL." Kitass told her, Asuna smiled broadly.
"That's great! I'm happy for you two!" Asuna exclaimed, Joey looked up and winced slightly.
I don't know what made me remember, but I remember back when I quit my first criminal guild. It's a day that changed me. From that day on I was different. I quit them, but sometimes, I'll still have nightmares about those days.
"Joey, you up?" Devon asked knocking on the door. Joey got up, and opened her door, letting him in.
"Yeah. Couldn't sleep." She told him, he nodded.
"Me either. I just... I can't get it out of my head... I'm so sorry, I did this." Devon muttered, taking a seat on the bed, and running a hand through his hair.
"Yeah..." Joey muttered, without any enthusiasm in her voice, Devon sighed.
"I feel awful about it." He told her, she nodded, and sat next to him on the bed.
"Me too. Can we just leave? I didn't know that they were going to make us kill a person." Joey muttered, Devon nodded.
"Let's do it. Lets just leave! I'm sure if we run far enough away!" Devon exclaimed.
"Sounds good. Can we leave now?" Joey asked, Devon nodded. They stood up, and prepared to leave. They exited the room to see several guild members waiting for them. One stepped forward, The Guild Leader. Angelo.
"Leaving eh? Not even going to say goodbye?" He taunted them, with a smirk, Devon glared at them, placing his hand on his sword. He was ready to kill if need be, but he didn't want to to come to that.
"Let us go Angelo. We don't want to be in the guild. We quit." Devon told him, fear lacing his voice, as Angelo stepped forward. Placing his hand on his own sword.
"You don't get to leave. You see, that's not how this works. You know who I am, what we do? We kill. You've both killed for us. We'll kill you before you leave." Angelo told him, pulling out his sword. The three guild members behind him did the same.
"Joey... Get ready for a fight." Joey got a deer in the headlights look, staring at the men.
"We can't kill them!" Devon turned to her gravely.
"We don't have a choice." He told her. He pulled out his sword, and in one motion turned back and blocked Angelo's strike. The hall was narrow enough that two people couldn't stand shoulder to shoulder in it. Not much room to fight.
Joey pulled out her dagger as one of Angelo's followers leaped over him and Devon to fight her. They swung their sword at her head, She ducked, and stabbed them in the thigh. They grabbed her hair and threw her, her back slammed against the wall. Her health dropped a few points.
Devon activated a Sword Skill, and swung his sword, with killing intent. Angelo ducked, Devon's sword hit the wall, and the durability went down. Angelo's fist started glowing a bright yelled, as he punched Devon, knocking him into the man trying to kill Joey. Devon's health dropped slightly.
Joey pushed herself up, and activated a skill. Her hands glowed a light blue as she placed them by her thin throwing knives. She took a breath, and said sorry before using the skill. She threw six knives at the man, each hitting him fatally, she watched in horror as he fell, and then shattered like glass, along with that horrifying sound.
Devon jumped up and sliced, Angelo tried to anticipate this, but Joey threw a knife into his shoulder, knocking him off Balance. Devon's sword ended up chopping his hand off. He fell back. The others grabbed him. Joey and Devon ran as fast as they could. They didn't stop until they were in the nearest town.
I killed two people in twenty four hours. I almost lost myself, but then I found the Friends of Blue Sarah. They seemed nice enough at first, but me and the Guild Master didn't get along too well. I liked the other people though. Then as you know I met Kitass and Ryder. I still can't get those memories of me killing those people out of my head. Angelo is still out there.
"Well, I guess this is where we part ways." Kitass said. Silica was in one direction, and the man Kirito had to save was in another. Kirito nodded.
"Take care of yourself okay. Be careful." Kirito told them, Kitass nodded, and walked off, Agil, and Joey following behind him.
"I hope she's okay." Agil said, Kitass nodded.
"Me too." Kitass said, as they heard a small cry, like an animal of sorts. They took off running, and turned a corner to see Silica fighting several high level Skeleton Acrobats. Pina was beside her, crying out as it healed her.
Kitass drew his sword, and ran, he jumped at the nearest Skeleton Acrobat, and killed it with a quick sword skill. He dropped to the ground next to Silica who smiled at him.
"Thanks!" Silica exclaimed, as she slashed the nearest Skeleton Acrobat in the skull. Joey did a quick flip, and drove her dagger into a Skeletons skull. Killing it. Agil ran and killed an approaching Skeleton Acrobat with his large axe.
"Thses guys aren't very tough, but they sure are numerous." Kitass muttered, as he dispatched another one. Silica nodded. As she slashed at another one. Pina flew away from one that tried to hit her.
They ended up killing the rest with ease. Getting a quest to go and eliminate the Architect. Kitass and Joey accepted it, after he gave Silica the item. She and Agil left together as Joey and Kitass walked further into the dungeon. Ready to face whatever came.
And that's how we got there. The rest of the quest was boring overall. Typical dungeon crawl with a clichéd boss at the end of it. He did look kinda cool th i ugh. He was big, and had arms surrounding his Ribcage, and Skull. And strings coming from each of his fingers, connecting the the walls, ceiling and floor. We had to cut them all, the stable him in the brain inside his skull to kill him. It was alright overall. Gotta say, I really love my friends. I would be nothing without them.
There it was, Joey's SAO chapter! I had fun writing this, I hope you enjoyed reading it. Tell me your thoughts and such! I love talking with people about stuff.
