Yo! Guys! Do you know how hard Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix is on Proud. I mean, I beat the game just fine, but when I went to fight Terra, or some of the Organization XIII Data battles... Fuck, they just become God's. I'm level 99 too, and have the Ultima weapon. They're legit gods. Anyway, hope you enjoy. We are nearing the end of the SAO Arc, but like I said, I don't know how long this story will last. Its gonna be big, I know that. Enjoy.

Okay. Here goes. My name is Rebecca Landshire. I think things here are... Better than my real life. Its not like I had anyone who cared about me back in the real world. I was alone. So, I decided to buy this Sword Art Online game. I figured it'd be fun. Adventuring, and being completely immersed in a new world, I could be a different person, I could matter. I could finally mean something to someone. While most of that happened, I was trapped with the other people who bought one, this was a blessing in disguise.
"Okay. I can do that." Rebecca told a girl. She had long platinum blonde hair, and pale blue eyes. Thin, and tall, she had a regal grace about her. She was Angel. That was her name, younger sister of the man who ran the Criminal Guild, Purgatory.
"Thank you Rebecca. And give Kitass, and Ryder my love." Angel told her, with a big smile. She was always so nice to everyone. Her best friend was the Guild Master, Ventaldah.
"I will. Bye Angel." Rabecca said sweetly, pulling out a Teleport Crystal. "Tell Ven that I'll be back in a few days." Rebecca added, before teleporting to Memoranda. The town where Kitass and Ryder lived. She saw Ridex walking down the street, in the direction Kitass and Ryder's house was located, she ran to catch up with him.
He turned his head to look at her, and smiled. "Hey, Richie-Rich. What's happening?" Ridex asked as she walked with him.
"I'm going home. Just did some Guild work. You hear about Ryder?" Rebecca asked, Ridex shook his head.
"No, did she get knocked up? Probably got knocked up." He said, Rebecca rolled her eyes Before shaking her head.
"She got a Unique Skill for Maxing out her speed skill." Rebecca told him, he smiled.
"That's dope! I'll have to congratulate her." He said, as they came up to the house, Rebecca opened the door, and something slammed into it. She peeked her head around to see Lis on the floor. The pink haired girl just rubbed her nose.
"Ow..." She muttered, Joey laughed as she came up behind her. She had been chasing her around the house. Rebecca walked all the way in, and sat on the couch. Agil was there, along with Klein. Kitass was telling them something.
"That's why Kirito couldn't come. He didn't want to have Asuna be alone, or come here. Things are bad right now, they're kind of heartbroken." Kitass said. Recalling his encounter with Kirito and Asuna as Yui faded away. It saddened him to see them both look so... Broken.
"That sucks. I'll have to message them. Give them my condolences." Klein let out a sigh, and leaned back, seeing Rebecca. Ridex had wandered off to talk with Ryder in the kitchen.
"How was your guild stuff?" Joey asked, as she casually went over to sit on Kitass' lap, he sighed. She usually only did this to piss Ryder off, but lately it had become more frequent.
"It went well. I got a new assignment from Angel, the Second in Command. She wants me to go clear a high level cave with a few other players." Rebecca told her, Joey shrugged.
"So, how's this gonna work?" Joey asked, looking up at Kitass for answers, he rubbed his neck. Ryder and Ridex came into the room.
"By you getting off him." Ryder threatened, Joey smirked at her and jumped up, sitting on Rebecca's lap instead. Ryder walked over, and took her spot on Kitass.
"I'd just like to say that it's awesome you two lasted this long. You met on day one right?" Klein asked, Kitass nodded.
"Yeah, we did. We didn't like each other over night though. There were some bad times." He recalled, Ryder shrugged, with a glare.
"We got through them, they don't matter anymore." Ryder told him, in an authoritative voice, he nodded, with a smile, leaning up to kiss her, she let him.
"So, Kitass, how is this going to work?" Lis asked, coming up and standing by the couch.
"Well... We need to find out where everyone lives. I'm in the US personally." Kitass said, Lis nodded.
"Me too!" Joey yelled at the top of her lungs. Ryder glared at her.
"I'm in Japan." Lis told them, Klein nodded, along with Agil. Both of them said the same. Ridex, and Dethunter said they also lived in the US.
"I'm in the US too. Maybe I could fly us all to Japan to meet up, once we're out of here." Rebecca said, everyone agreed that it was probably the best idea.
I was glad that I had found some real friends here. It felt good to be accepted into a group, and not just cast aside, or used because I'm the rich girl. It really sucks to feel that way, and for a long time I was honestly depressed, I considered killing myself, but I could never go through with it. I'm too weak. Pathetic, or I was. I'm better now.
Rebecca stood on a ledge, over looking an endless drop. She could be free from this life for good. She had the courage to go farther here, than she ever had in real life. But something was stopping her from going through with it.
"Hey, what are you doing?" She heard, she turned her head to see a man in black and green armor.
"I was gonna jump but... I can't..." Rebecca muttered, the man shook his head and walked up to her, He grabbed her hand, and helped her off, back on solid ground.
"Don't kill yourself. It would be a waste. Who are you any way?" The man asked, Rebecca looked down at the ground.
"Rebecca. What's your name?" She asked him, he smiled at her. She at down, and leaned against the wall.
"I'm Ridex. In here at least I am. So, how did you end up here?" He asked, sitting next to her.
"I just... Wandered around I guess." Rebecca told him, She didn't want to explain herself to this stranger. A Very kind stranger at that, but still.
"I got here by my own two feet. Been on my own ever since this started. Do you have a Guild?" He asked her, she shook her head.
"No. I don't. I just... Its complicated, and I don't want to get into it." Rebecca told him, he shrugged.
"Not like I wanted to get to know you anyway." He told her, she frowned, and stared down at the ground.
"I'm sorry... I'll leave you alone now." Rebecca told him, getting up, and beginning to walk away, Ridex got up, and followed her.
"I was kidding. Kind of, you sound like you need some help. I'd be willing to listen." He told her, she stopped, and turned around to face him.
"I'm fine okay as much as I appreciate your concern I have to go, you seem nice enough though." Rebecca told him with a slim smile, walking away in a brisk pace, Ridex just shrugged, and walked the other direction. If she didn't want help, He wouldn't pry. It wasn't his business anyway.
I didn't know it at the time, but he would later become my friend. I guess it was fate that brought us together that day. In truth, I didn't feel accepted until I met Kitass and Ryder. You have to understand, I couldn't let him help me, I was in a dark place. I mean when those two found me I was probably feeling the worst in my entire life. I'm glad I let them in that day.
"We'll all met up at my bar when this is all over." Agil told them in closing, leaving with Klein. Kitass turned to Lis.
"Be sure to have that back to me tomorrow morning." He said, He handed her his sword. Lis nodded, and examined it, with a smirk.
"I bet I could sell this for three times what it cost me to make it..." She muttered, he glared at her.
"Don't sell my sword. Mostly because I don't want Ryder to kill you the first chance she gets." Kitass informed her, Lis shrugged, and smiled at him.
"Scary girl you got there. Okay, I'll have it back by tomorrow, but you owe me. Big time." She said, wandering off, He waved as she disappeared into the Darkness. The only people left Now were Kitass, Ryder, and Rebecca.
"That was fun!" Rebecca exclaimed, Kitass nodded and smiled at her.
"It'll be even better IRL." He said, she smiled, but Kitass could see right through it. He frowned and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Hey, things won't be like they were, you have friends now who love you for who you are." He reassured her, she gave him a genuine smile.
"Promise you'll come see me as soon as we get out of here." She said. They had found out that they lived in the same town. Rebecca just lived on the opposite side of town, the rich side. It was no wonder she never saw him before. He wasn't poor exactly, but he wasn't rich either.
"I promise. As soon as we get out I'll see you." He promised her, she smiled and kissed his cheek. Ryder glared at her, and grabbed the collar of her shirt pulling her away.
"Don't do that again." Ryder ordered protectively, Rebecca smiled at her.
"I was just being thankful. I don't like Kitass like that, and you would pull my ovaries out through my eye sockets." Rebecca repeated the threat that Ryder gave her when she first came to live here. Ryder smiled satisfied.
"Good girl. Still stay away." Ryder ordered, before shoving the rich girl aside, and embracing Kitass. Giving him a kiss on the cheek, before walking upstairs, Kitass smiled at her as she walked away.
"So, could you two help me with something?" Rebecca asked, Kitass nodded, placing his hands on his hips.
"Sure. That guild thing you had to do?" Kitass guessed, Rebecca nodded, and opened her menu. Selecting the map, she went to floor 72, and pointed to a cave. Kitass examined it with her as she pointed things out to him.
"This cave is full of Skore Goblins, and Glittering Black Demons. Rare drops galore right, so we would party up in groups of three, and go down the two paths. Each one has a boss, the left is supposed to be harder than the right path. Can you do it?" She asked, Kitass nodded.
"Course Rebecca. Me and Ryder were planning to test out her unique skill, so this works out perfectly. So, tomorrow right?" He asked, before turning off a light. Rebecca closed her menu, and followed him as he went upstairs to his room.
"Yup! Thanks, I knew I could count on you two! I'll ask some others if they can help too! Have a good night!" Rebecca called as she opened her door, Kitass nodded and opened his own door, where Ryder was waiting for him, reading over some book she bought yesterday in the market.
I remember when I first logged on to SAO. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. It all looked so real. I mean, I knew Virtual Reality was high tech, but I didn't expect anything like this. To be honest, IRL, I was a nerd. I loved games, and comics, and all that kind of stuff. So, when SAO came around, I knew I had to get it.
"Link Start!" Rebecca yelled, and colors began to fly, and swirl all around her. The screen turned black for a few moments before the bright yellow words appeared with a chime. 'Welcome to Sword Art Online!' A town materialized around her. The pixels loading up with textures and graphics.
Rebecca looked around excitedly, this was like nothing she'd seen before! It really looked real! Like she was somewhere else! It felt like she was somewhere else. She discovered that she was a few pounds lighter here, not like she was even near heavy before, but she just felt lighter, all around.
Thousands of other players were all talking, or buying starting gear from merchants with the little Col they started out with. Rebecca had never been so poor before. Her life had always been one of disappointing privilege. She walked forward, looked at all the different people.
"Were you seriously in the Beta? Lucky bastard." A man said, another player smiled at him, placing her hands on her hips.
"You should've acted faster if your so jealous. It wasn't hard to get selected. I was in the Beta too." She said, the man sighed loudly. Rebecca laughed, and walked up to them. One of the players had spiked up black hair, and bright purple eyes. He wore starting light armor with a shield on his back, and sword on his belt.
Rebecca looked at the man. He had long red hair to his shoulders, and bright blood red eyes. Wearing starting heavy armor, and a mace on his belt. The girl had dark blue hair in a French braid, and light blue eyes. She wore light starting armor, with a simple rapier on her belt. Rebecca smiled at the three players.
"Hello. My name's Rebecca!" Rebecca sounded, the girl smiled at her, and shook her hand, kissing it before saying anything.
"I'm Jodie. Pleasure to meet you Rebecca." Jodie greeted. Rebecca blushed, the man smiled at her.
"I'm Alek." He introduced himself to her, She shook his hand, the other boy was named Rocco.
"We were about to go explore, do you want to join us?" Jodie asked, Rebecca nodded, Jodie invited her to the party, and Rebecca accepted. They set off to go grind the easy monster spawns.
"So, Rebecca... Is that your name IRL, or what?" Alek asked her, She nodded.
"Yeah. It is, I couldn't come up with an actual fake name, is it bad?" Rebecca asked, Alek shook his head.
"Course not. Just unusual. My name's really Alex, so it's not far off." He told her, She smiled at him. Rocco and Jodie were up front arguing about the right path. Both had been in the Beta, and knew the area.
"I'm telling you it's this way!" Rocco yelled pointing to the left path, Jodie rolled her eyes.
"I know you can't be serious, because that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" Jodie yelled back.
"Well, then we'll split up! Come on Rebecca!" Rocco yelled, Jodie rolled her eyes as Rocco looked to Rebecca expectantly. Jodie moved to her side, and took Rebecca's arm.
"No! Rebecca is coming with me! Because Girl Code bitch. Message me when you get lost." Jodie said, and without another word she stormed down the right pathway. Leaving Alek, and Rocco standing there with bemused looks.
"You... You can let go now... Jodie." Rebecca said, Jodie blushed and nodded, letting go of Rebecca's arm. Jodie rubbed her neck awkwardly.
"Sorry. He just irritates me. Worst brother ever I swear. Anyway, come on." Jodie exclaimed enthusiastically. Marching off down the path, Rebecca followed after her.
They were my first friends. After everything that happened I owe them that much. That someone say that. They were the first people who were nice to me in SAO. Don't get me wrong, I am,deeply indebted to Kitass and Ryder, but those three were the first. I've never mentioned them before because it rips me apart inside. Knowing that I caused it.
"Okay guys. Stick together. I don't want anyone taking any unnecessary risks." Kitass said, he was standing in front of the cave, facing Rebecca and Ryder. They were taking the Left path, while Ridex, Dethunter, and Joey were taking the Right.
"Yeah, what he said. Don't get dead guys." Ridex said. He and Kitass looked at each other nodding, before leading their respective groups inside.
Ryder glanced around a calm glare on her face, her hand rested on her sword. She was ready to fight. Kitass pressed up against the cave wall, and peeked his head around a corner. Not seeing anything, he used his detection skill. There were several cloaked Glittering Black Demons waiting. Kitass looked back to Ryder and nodded.
Ryder walked forward, drawing her sword slowly, so she didn't make noise. She took a breath and ran forwards. Jumping in the air before doing a flip, and bringing her sword down, slicing a Demon in half, the others revealed themselves, as Kitass and Rebecca jumped in to help her.
The Demon that Ryder cut in half was now a swirling puddle on the ground. They quickly made all the other demons that same way. They smiled at each other.
"That was way too easy." Ryder commented, searching her sword. She walked towards the two, as all the black swirling puddles moved towards each other, Before forming a large monster, with a gust of Wind that knocked them all on the ground.
"That's Nephebat! He's a rare demon that solidifies randomly every ten hours. His strength is dependant on how many Demons you've killed, and their rank." Ryder said, she had bought a few books, one of which was an updated info booklet on the monsters.
"We just killed a lot." Kitass commented, getting up, He readied his sword, and looked at his health. He hadn't been hit once during the Demon fight, but he saw that 25% of his health was gone from just that single gust of Wind. "Fuck..." He muttered under his breath.
"Time to practice. Stay back!" Ryder yelled, as she took in a deep breath, unleashed her Unique Skill. She opened her eyes, and flew forward, hitting the Demon with her Light Sword over and over again. It had three life bars. She had only brought a half of one down.
"Ryder! Look out!" Rebecca yelled as Ryder's skill wore off, She was still waiting for her stamina to recover when Nephebat readied a skill of his own, preparing to crush her. Kitass ran and tackled Ryder out of the way. They landed roughly on the ground, Kitass had turned them around so that He slid on his back across the ground.
Ryder smiled down at him, before pushing off and running back to fight. Rebecca helped her as Kitass got up, and jumped in the air, driving his sword through Nephebat's body. However the Demon just reappeared behind him, and punched him in the back. Kitass flew into Rebecca, knocking both of them to the ground.
"Rebecca! Are you okay?" Kitass asked, She looked up at him with a pained expression. He was more concerned with her safety than his own at the moment. He got up shakily, and pulled the rich girl up as well.
"I'm fine, but you aren't! Use a Healing Crystal!" Rebecca told him, he shook his head and pulled one from his pocket, pressing it to her chest. Healing her instead. That was the only Crystal he and Ryder had.
"I'll manage." He told her with a lopsided smile. His own health was below 15% but he cared more about them. He turned to see Ryder fighting alone, and losing. He ran forward hitting the Demon again. Rebecca joined the fray too, things were looking dire, it had a life bar left, but they were all below 15% health.
"Snooch to the mother fucking nooch!" Ridex yelled as he ran and hit Nephebat with his large great sword. Dethunter ran up and used his Whirling Death Skill, throwing his scythe forward, it spun rapidly, and cut Nephebat several times before coming back. Joey threw fifteen throwing knives into Nephebat's body. This combined assault ended up lowering its health enough for Kitass to finish it off.
He let out a large breath as his Peaceful Healing Skill activated. He and Ryder had invested in this together. Whenever all enemies around were defeated they would automatically regain health. A very useful skill.
He also saw that Nephebat dropped a Ultra Rare item. It was a Glittering Neon Sword. Designed for speed. He looked over at Rebecca. She hadn't gotten a new sword in a month, and her current one did shit for damage. He gifted it to her, and Ryder gave it The okay, because she felt the same way.
Rebecca looked over at them gratefully. She equipped it, and found that it was a longsword, with the center of the blade hollowed out and Neon flowing through it. She examined it with wide eyes. It also had intricate carvings running along the blade. Also glowing in Pink, Purple, and Blue light. The entire area around them was now illuminated in those three colors.
"Damn that's bright..." Dethunter muttered, Rebecca smiled, and sheathed the weapon. Even the sheath had intricate Neon designs on it, She got up as Joey gave all three of them Healing Crystals. She may have retired from her thieving ways... For the most part, but she still had several stashes from before.
"Thanks you guys. Wed be dead if it weren't for you." Kitass said, Rebecca shook her head.
"I can't believe you healed me instead of yourself." Rebecca recalled his actions. He shrugged, and smiled at her.
"I had to protect you, you're my friend. And you have a lower Health, and Endurance." He told her, She still shook her head.
"Well, We cleared our side. The goblins here were little bitches." Ridex said, sheathing his great sword.
"That wasn't the boss. It was just a random encounter. We still have to deal with him." Kitass said, Joey shook her head.
"Jesus Rebecca, what did you get us into?" Joey teased the rich girl, who blushed, and stared down at the ground.
"I'm sorry..." Rebecca muttered, Ryder frowned, and laced an arm around her shoulder. Rebecca's eyes snapped up to her.
"Don't sweat it Rebecca. We're always happy to help you out." Ryder told her friend before looking around. "Kitass, use your detection skill. Check for any hidden rooms." Ryder ordered, Kitass nodded at her, and followed her order.
"There's one. Over here." Kitass said, as he walked up to a wall with a carving on it. He frowned. "It has seven notches in it. Probably for the keys." Kitass said, looking back at the group.
"We got seven of these weird stones. Maybe that's it." Dethunter said, materialistic his stones. Kitass placed them inside the holes. They began to glow brightly. Ridex and Joey handed Kitass their stones also. Once all seven stones were in a door outlined itself, and the wall faded away to reveal a chamber.
"That's where the boss is. Get ready everyone." Kitass said, leading the group inside, pulling his sword out. Ryder stuck close to him with her own Sword. Rebecca stood beside Ryder in a defensive stance. Ridex, Dethunter, and Joey followed them. Ready to fight.
A large roar sounded through the chamber, as a giant demon materialized from the darkness in front of them. Kitass sighed.
"Fuck..." He muttered.
I remember way back when. Me and Jodie went down that path to the cave. I hadn't realized it but it was nice. Being with her. All alone, don't get me wrong. I'm not in love with her or anything like that. But she was my first friend here, and I'll always remember her. Even though... Not everything turned out good.
"Is this much different than the Beta?" Rebecca asked, Jodie shrugged with a confident smirk.
"Not a lot, but enough of it is. They wanted people to get a feel for the game, this place used to be really hard, not I guess they made it a little easier." Jodie told her, They moved through the cave easily defeating the monsters.
"I love games. I would always play, but never had anything like this." Rebecca told her, Jodie smiled at her.
"Yeah. I love it myself plus there's this amazing view off the edge of the world. I'll take you there when we're done with this, it's not far." Jodie said, Rebecca smiled gratefully at her.
"Thanks! I bet the view is beautiful there." Rebecca trailed off dreamily, Jodie smiled at her with a flirty glint in her eyes.
"My view is even more beautiful right here." Jodie flirted with the rich girl, who widened her eyes, and blushed.
"Oh! Um... Is that a... I'm sorry, I'm not... I mean you're nice and all, but..." Rebecca stammered, as Jodie stepped closer, and put a finger on her lips, silencing her.
"Shhh, don't say anything. Let me convince you." Jodie said, Rebecca panicked. She tried to find a reason behind this sudden affection, but couldn't. Jodie leaned down and kissed her, Rebecca froze for a few seconds, before shoving the girl away. Jodie ended up falling on her ass, staring up at Rebecca shocked, and confused.
"I'm... I... You..." Rebecca stammered, Jodie blinked.
"Wait, Rebecca! I'm so sorry! I don't know why I just did that, you were just standing there, and... Sorry." Jodie muttered, Rebecca shook her head as tears formed in her eyes.
"You stole my first kiss! My first kiss was with a girl! And she stole it! I can't believe I actually... Just... Go." Rebecca cried, falling on the ground. Jodie frowned, knowing that there was nothing she could do.
"I'm sorry Rebecca, I really am. I totally misinterpreted that." Jodie said, Rebecca shook her head. Jodie frowned, and looked down at the girl.
"Let's just get out of here okay... I'll calm down, after this, I think it's best if we separated." Rebecca said, Jodie nodded. They walked through the cave, and opened a door. A loud roar was heard, and the door slammed shut behind them.
The ensuing fight was brutal. It was a large demon with two health bars. They managed to get it to 25% health with little difficulty, until it used a certain skill, and cleaned Jodie in two. Rebeca just killed it. Not thinking much of it since she would just re spawn outside the cave. Rebecca left, and when ishe didn't show up, She got worried.
That's when she heard two people laughing about how they just Pked two guys. Rebecca asked them about it, and she found out it was Rocco and Alek who challenged them. It was just a game, so it was okay to Pk. Only moments later when everyone was transported to the central square in the Town of Beginnings did they realize the truth.
Knowing that I caused that... Was horrible. If I hadn't have been so stubborn, and rushed into That boss, triggering its skill, Jodie wouldn't have had to save me, and she would still be alive. If I hadn't have joined them, then they probably wouldn't have felt it was safe to separate, and Alek, and Rocco would still be alive. I caused all of this, so, I remember them. Because no one else will.
"Excelent work Rebecca, you can keep that if you want too, Kitass told me about how much you struggled to get it." Ven told her, referring to the rare necklace dropped from the Boss. Rebecca smiled at him.
"Thank you Ven." Rebecca said, he shrugged at her.
"Its not a problem Rebecca. Take a few days off okay. The Guild is doing well, and with the extra Col gained from this quest we won't need you around. Just go and relax for a while, I'll message you if anything exciting happens." He told her, She smiled.
"Thanks Ven. I'll need it after today. Good luck with the guild!" Rebecca called before using the teleport Crystal to travel home. Home being Kitass, and Ryder's house of course. She smiled to herself.
I am glad that I finally found friends here, after all this time. Real friends that I could count on. So, that's my story. I hope you liked it guys. My time in SAO has been hard, but now I know everything will turn out okay, because of my friends. I know that whatever comes next, we'll face together. Whether it be IRL, or SAO.
There it was guys! The fifth chapter of SAO Arc! Rebecca's chapter is done, Ridex is the next one, and we will end the Arc with a Kitass chapter! So, hope you enjoy that. Um...
