Hope's POV.

"Okay, who are you and what did you tell Ammie?" I used my angriest voice when talking into the phone to the person who made Ammie cry. Adam on the floor next to her trying to get her to talk, but she just ignored him so he just sat there talking to himself.

"My name is Dan Cahill, who exactly am I talking to?" Dan, from that moment I decided that I didn't like him,he hurt Ammie, no one does that and approved by me...

"Hope, as in Hope Cahill as in Ammie's friend." I whispered into the phone to make my voice seem more scarry.

"Ah, do you wanna speak to your dad?" He asked as if I were a mad two year old.

"And if you don't. Sad for you, because you're gonna talk to him anyway." He added. He knew my dad? I didn't even know my dad!

"Hello?" I tested if anyone was there when I thought I heard someone breath into the phone.

"Yes, this is Ian Cahill." A man who talked a lot like the other man, Dan, but it was obvious from his voice that he was from England, he had that accent.

I didn't know what to say. What exactly do you say the first time you ever speak to your father?

"Hope, Dan told me it was you. You might not want to speak to me, I mean, you don't even know me. Perhaps you want to talk to your brother? Luke here is really eager to speak to you." He sighed in the middle of the sentence. It was true, I didn't know him, but I really wanted to get to know him.

"Ian, yu can hang up now, we're there." A woman's voice said in the background. There was something about that voice, like I'd heard it a thousand times before, yet I didn't know who it belonged to.

The man who claimed to be named Ian Cahill hung up without even saying goodbye, but the beeps of the phone was replaced by knocks on the door.

"I'll open." A man who looked to be around 40 said and walked towards the doors.

"Hope, do you know why Amanda's crying?" Elena asked me, Nick was beside her holding on to her right hand.

I shrugged, I wanted to comfort her, but I somehow knew that I wouldn't be able to do so.

"Nixie, Jamie!" Elena suddenly shouted out and ran away, Nick, still holding on to her, didn't have any other choice than to follow her.

"Hey, Zeke." He hugged a boy about my age with one arm.

"Lill!" A boy and a girl ran into the room and to attack Lilly in hugs.

"Ammie!" Arthur and Josh ran to commfort their sister, they obviously knew what had made her cry.

"Hey, shortie, glad you're alive." Luke whispered into my hair while hugging me tightly.

"Where's Ollie?" I asked him.

"Hope, I'm sorry..."

"What happened to her?" I asked when I realised what he meant. I was almost crying, but I didn't want everyone to see me do that so I fought back the tears and tried to be strong.

"An accident, the ceiling fell in. Juliet and I were about to get in on us, but she pushed us out of the way. Unfortunately she wasn't fast enough to save herself too." That famous guy, Johnny Wizard, told me while looking at his feet.

"It wasn't your fault Johnny." A tall man with dark hair said.

"If it was anyone's fault, it would be mine. I should have stopped her." I recognized his voice, it was the man from the phone, Ian!

Then I saw something that made me smile with relief, Ollie wasn't dead, she was walking through the door with a boy around my age and a woman who looked to be around 20.

"Really funny, but next time you try to fool me, don't let the person you pretend is dead walk into the room." I smiled and ran to hug my sister.

But when I reached her, I didn't run into her arms, I somehow ran right through her.

"Uhm, Hope, I know you're shocked that she's dead, but we're not pretending." Luke said and started to walk to me, as if he didn't even see the three people standing in front of me.

"But she's right there!" I screamed and pointed to Ollie.

"They can't see us, sweetie, I don't even get how you're able to see us." The woman smiled at me, it was a kind smile, the kind I saw mothers give their children when I met people who actually knew their parents. Which was most of the time since most kids my age know who their parents are...

"Why can't they see you?" I asked her, everyone in the room, except Ollie, the boy, and the woman, stared at me as if I was crazy at this point. And maybe I was, but aren't most kids a tiny bit crazy?

"We're dead." The boy announced happily, like if he was saying something good like "Oh, hey, we've found cake, let's eat it!", not that he was dead.

"I'm dead?" I asked, I wasn't entirely sure if he meant we like all of us, or we like them.

"No, Red, just the three of us. Casper, Maria, and I." Ollie used the nickname she'd given me sometime before I were able to remember.

"Hope, are you alright?" Luke asked and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah, of course I'm alright." I looked at him and tried to look like do everything was fine and I did not just get to know I could see dead people.

"You are aware that you just asked the air if you were dead, right?" Ian asked me.

"I didn't ask the air, I asked, well I'm not entirely sure if I asked Ollie, Casper, or Maria, but Ollie answered." Two of the adults in the room gasped loudly at the mention on the names Casper and Maria.

"How does the person named Casper look?" A woman with brown hair, who I thought was Elena's mom since they had the same green eyes and brown hair.

I looked at Casper.

"Well, he's pretty short, looks to be around my age. He's got light brown hair and green eyes. He's wearing a pair of jeans, and a grey t-shirt."

"Tell Emma the AnCaAm promise i made when I where five still is on." Casper smiled slightly at Elena's Mom, who I assumed was called Emma since that was what Casper had just called her.

"The AnCaAm promise he made when he was five is still on, don't know what that means..." I told her and she started crying.

"My brother." She whispered to herself.

"Maria's tall, blonde and pale skinned, right?" The woman standing beside Sam said.

I nodded after taking a look at Maria.

"So the prophecy is true after all." One of the adults muttered and walked away.

"Wait! What prophecy?" Ammie asked, she was still crying, but that might have been since she couldn't see that her best friend was standing right beside her.

"It's a prophecy we got about fifteen years ago.

Six children will save us from ourselves.

The child of Jane will lose her lose herself in the twelves.

Only three will come back.

A child of Madeline and Luke will never really be part of the pack.

The six shall bring back what is worth more than gold.

But a child of Damian will be the savior of a broken hold." A man who'd just entered the room said with a dreaming voice. I knew that man, it was Ben!

"Ben!" I screamed.

"C." Emma breathed out.

"Dad?" Elena whispered

"Garry!" Tessa ran up to Ben and hugged him. Why did everyone call Ben different names?

"Honey, that's not your dad, your dad's dead. And he had black hair and gray eyes, this is my childhood best friend Casper Andersson." Emma told her oldest daughter.

"Elena's kind of right Ellie. You know how you married and got kids with Will Matthews?" Ben asked with a sheepish look on his face.

"Yeah?"

"Well, hekindaneverexistedIonlypretendedtobenamedthatwhilewearingadisguisesothatIcouldbewithyouI'mveryverysorry." He said everything in one breath, with one look from Emma he said it again.

"He kinda never existed, I only pretended to be named that while wearing a disguise so that I could be with you. I'm very, very sorry." He said again, slower this time.

"Ben Freekle doesn't exist either does he?" I looked angrily at the man I thought I knew. As it turned out, everything in my life was built up by lies...

"Or Garry I suspect?" Zoe looked about the way we all felt.

"No." Be- C whispered.

"Casper Andersson you're such an..." Emma started to yell at the man, but Adam's dad cut her of.

"Don't be mad at him Emm, it was my idea in the first place." The room broke into a fight about who did what and whatever.

"Does anyone here remember that prophecy Ben-Will-Garry-C-whatever your name is, just told us. I mean, that thing about six children coming when we're about to destroy ourselves sounds pretty serious doesn't it?" Ammie shouted to silence everyone. She'd risen from the floor now, Arthur and Josh was standing on each side behind her, they somehow looked more powerful than ever.

Maybe that's what losing someone you love without knowing she's right beside you does to a person.
