Elena's POV.

"So the first line in the prophecy is 'six children will save us from ourselves', so most probably something big is gonna happen and the Cahills are going to turn against each other again." My father said those words like if it had happened before.

"'The child of Jane will lose herself in the twelves.' What's the twelves?" Amanda asked.

"The twelves are twelve cursed islands that gives you all your heart has ever wished for. But someday the magic is going to fade and the person will find himself or herself lost and trapped without any way of escaping the twelves." Mom answered her with a sad voice, it was like if it had happened to someone she knew.

"'Only three will come back', well that's not exactly crypted or anything, three people will come back, three won't." Nick mumbled with his hand in mine.

"A child of Madeline and Luke will never really be part of the pack', so there's someone who's both a child of this Madeline and this Luke. Hey, Luke, got any kids you've never told us about?" Hope asked, the guy I assumed was her brother stuck his tongue out in a childish way, just like Zeke did when I teased him.

"No, Madeline and Luke are both dead, has been for centuries." A woman who looked a lot like Hope said, I remembered her name being Amy.

"Well that's kind of a bummer, if Madeline and Luke has been dead for centuries should their kids be dead too?" Someone, I weren't really sure who it was, asked.

"Yes, they are, but some of you are seen as children of Madeline, Luke, Catherine, Thomas, or Jane. A lot of you are even the children of two. But the only children of Madeline and Luke here are, Amanda, Arthur, Josh, Luke, and Hope." Ian said with a surprisingly uneven voice.

"Don't forget Olivia." Hope grumbled from her place beside Luke.

"'The six shall bring back what is worth more than gold.' So, since gold has kind of lost its value these days there are a lot of things that are worth more than gold, but I think they're talking about peace since the first part kind of made it sound like if we were going to fight." Nick said, I had to remind myself that he wasn't only my cliché, best friend who basically lived at the football (AN: football, soccer, whatever you wanna call it, the one where you kick the ball around)field, he was also pretty smart and quick thinking, I'm pretty sure he got it from his mom, because sure, his dad can be smart, just not Sinead Holt smart.

"'But a child of Damian will be the savior of a broken hold.' So, a child of the enemy will be the one to save us in the end... What is this? Some kind of drama movie?" Erick grunted.

"Okay, so so we know that there will be six kids, and we know who two of them are, and most probably what they're supposed to do." Amy declared, ignoring Erick's comment.

We know who two of them are?

"We know who two of them are?" Nick asked loudly, did he read my mind or something?

"Yeah, one descendent of Madeline and Luke are not like the rest. Olivia, she's dead, and someone's got to be able to see her. Therefor, Hope has to be one of the six." Ian told him as if it obvious, which, it kinda was, I just didn't think about that.

A woman came into the room, she smiled at us, I had a feeling that I was supposed to know her, but I was absolutely sure I'd never seen her before.

"You've finally arrived." She ran up to Zeke since he was the one closest to her and hugged him tightly.

"Uhm, do I know you?" He asked sounding like he was slightly (okay, really) freaked out.

"Oh, right, you don't know me yet. I'm Bellida Seeker. I'm the one who got the prophecy about you. Gosh, it feels like if I've known you since I was your age." She sighed.

"What do you mean with 'our age'? It's a pretty big gap between the five years of age which Nixie and Jamie are, and Sam's 18 years." I grumbled.

"Elena what's happened? You're not usually like this." I didn't get why she seemed to know me, not that many people I'd actually met knew anything about me.

"Maybe, it's the fact that everyone's been lying to me my entire life." After saying that, I ran out into the garden. I needed to be alone and think.

I didn't even notice the beauty of the garden, I just ran to a tree and climbed up on the highest branch where nobody would be able to see me.

Why does this have to happen?

It's who you are, you're a Cahill, whether you like it or not. A voice in my head answered.

Am I turning schizophrenic?

Nope, I'm just the voice in your head telling you what to do. You're not crazy, almost everyone has one, there would be something wrong with you if you didn't have one.

Well, why did you call me a Cahill? I'm a Matthews.

Oh but are you? Your dad wasn't really called Will Matthews was he? And since he wasn't a Matthews, than you're not one. Am I right?

"Okay, so that might be right, but if I'm not a Matthews, than what am I?"

"You're my little narwhal. The unicorn of the sea." A very familiar voice said, and this time it wasn't in my head.

"You're late, Nick Holt." I tried not to smile as he sat down beside me on the tree branch.

"Well excuse me for climbing up about five other trees before I found the right one. I thought for sure you'd pick the highest one instead of this."

"You're not excused." I was grinning now, but since I looked the other was I hoped Nick couldn't see that.

"Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine, moonlight." He used the old nickname he gave me when we were like 5.

"We both know that's you, sunshine." He laughed a bit and threw one of his arms around me, I didn't bother trying to shrug it off, I just rested my head on him and looked up at the sky.

While I'd been inside the house it had transformed from a light blue colour, to a beautifully messed up mix off blue, pink, orange, and a few white clouds. What made the scene even more perfect was the fact that I could see the sea far away in the horizon, with nicks arm around me I almost started to wonder if we'd somehow made our way into one of the movies Zeke secretly loved.

I just sat there on the tree branch with Nick, watching the sunset, it even took a while until I noticed that it was cold.

Nick however, seemed to notice before me and gave me his dark blue jacket.

"No, you need it, you're gonna get cold." I handed the jacket back to him.

"Am I the one wearing a dress that's really thin and only has one small strap? No, I'm wearing jeans and a shirt. If anyone's gonna get cold, it's you." He pretty much made me take the jacket.

"How cheesy can a guy get before he turns yellow and starts to get holes all over him?" I asked out of the blue.

He looked at me, his head was slightly tilted to the left and his eyebrows were scrunched together.

"You're acting like a person from Zekes movies." I giggled slightly.

After about of silence I got attacked, by Nick, he started tickling me for no reason whatsoever!

One word of advice if you find yourself with your best friend in a tree branch. Don't start tickling each other, you might fall! At least that's what Nick and I did.

Just when I thought I were going to find myself on the ground with at least eight broken legs (yep, I'm turning into a spider... Be afraid, very afraid.) I splashed into a pool full with warm water.

That's when I decided I were going to kill a certain guy named Nick Holt.

The door of the house opened and a lot of people came out.

"Why are you two in the pool?" Tessa asked.

Everyone was laughing at Nick and me, so I did what any other reasonable person would do, I pretended to be a hippo and put everything but my eyes under the water, beside me I knew Nick was doing the same thing.

At the moment everything seemed alright, but at the time, I didn't know it was only the calm before the storm. The things before were only slight breezes compared to what was going to happen.

Unknown POV.

"You will fool them, get them to walk into my traps. I'm counting on you, son." Father told me in the dining hall the night before I was supposed to leave.

"What will my name be and who's the one I shall focus on?" I asked trying to keep my voice steady, I knew he wouldn't let me leave if I seemed too weak.

"You shall take on the name of your brother and try to get close to this girl."

A picture of two girls and one boy came up on the screen behind father. One of the girls had a black dress, a sweet smile, a silver necklace, and a pink floral crown lay on top of her perfect blonde curls. The other girl was wearing a pair of light coloured ripped jeans, a dark blue top, and a black cardigan, her dark brown curls were flying around her in the light breeze that was probably taking place when the picture was taken. The guy standing between them with his arms around the girls had shirt corky brown hair, he was wearing a simple white t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He had a big smile on his face and his eyes were shining with happiness. I knew who they were, they were the Wizard triplets.

The brown haired girl, Lilly, had a big red circle around her, she was the subject. I gave my father a nod and left the room.

I walked up to my sisters room.

"Andy!" She shrieked with delight when I walked up to her. She ran to me and I caught her in my arms. I didn't want to leave my baby sister, but if I didn't do this, I didn't even want to think about what father would do to her.

"I love you, Jasmine." I whispered into her hair. That was the last thing I said to her before I left.

Hi! So this was basically a filler in, in next chapter there will be two new characters. There's Andy (or Andrew which is his full name, but Jasmine's about 3 and doesn't like that long name) and one other guy who might not have an evil father...

So, last week I turned 15, and I realised that I was 13 when I started writing here (WHAT? I hadn't even turned 14?! It feels like not that long ago!) and about two weeks ago it was a year ago I posted my first fanfiction. It has been a truly amazing year, and I'll do my best to make this another great year of writing.

I love you guys. You're amazing. Bye. See you.
