Divergent/Ender's Shadow Oneshot
Tris didn't make it to stage 2 of Dauntless Initiation. Tobias left Dauntless to be factionless with Tris. They had a baby boy together. They named him Will, after Tris' friend. When Will was three years old, Tris and Tobias went to war against Dauntless and Erudite. They left Will with other factionless members. Tris and Tobias died in battle together. Most of the factionless members that Will was left with died. The remainder of them traveled to the Bureau. One day, Will wandered away from the main Bureau building. Everybody searched for him, but they never found him. Will didn't remember anything. Not his parents, not his old home in Chicago, not even his name. At four years old, he found a girl named Poke and her crew on the streets. Nobody thought he was worth anything. Not even worth a bean. Then, Will came up with a brilliant idea. One idea that night save them all from starvation. In return, Poke gave Will six peanuts. Sergeant and Poke agreed that Will was worth a bean. One single bean. Will didn't remember his name. Thus, Bean became his name. The International Fleet noticed Bean was an exceedingly talented young boy. They offered him a spot at I.F. Battle School. And the rest is history...Or shall I say the future?
