Chapter 20
Disclaimer: I unfortunately don't own Percy Jackson or Harry Potter; they belong to JK Rowling and Rick Riordan

Percy POV:

We rushed to the entrance hall. But unfortunately it was already crowded.

Slowly we made our way to the dorm. We sat on my bed and thought for ages. We needed to enter soon or we would lose the opportunity.

"Ooh I have a plan." Thalia said. "I should go downstairs to the entrance hall, with your Yankees cap on. Wait until there are not many people. Put my name in and quickly come back up. Then Percy takes the cap and puts his name in."

"Perfect, but can I go first." I said.

Wise girl quickly went to fetch her cap from her dorm and we sat waiting on my bed, eventually Annabeth came back with her precious Yankee's cap. She passed it to me and I slipped it onto my head. They nodded in my vague direction to say they couldn't see me, I wrote my name on a slip of parchment and went down the stairs, I made my way carefully through the packed common room, careful to not bump into anyone. I waited for the portrait hole to open, hoping someone would come through soon. Luckily I had only been standing by the entrance for five minutes when Harry, Ron and Hermione came through into the common room. I stepped out before the door closed, but I think I must have knocked into Harry as I walked past, he looked round in shock and looked straight at me, I was convinced he must have seen me, but he hadn't, he shrugged and followed Ron and Hermione into the common room. I slipped out the common room and hurried to the entrance hall, avoiding anybody as much as I could. Finally I was stood in the entrance hall right by the goblet of fire.

I crept up to it and put the paper into the flames. The paper was swallowed up and the flame grew huge and blue, before returning to normal. All around me the people watching were confused as they didn't see anything happen, but it did. I left the room and quickly sped up the stairs to the dorm, it was just my luck that some Gryffindors were coming out the common room so crept in and skirted around the edge of the busy room, and I went to the stairs and crept up. When I walked in Thalia and Annabeth seemed to be in a very intense discussion. I quietly walked around to behind them and sat on the bed;

"What are you talking about?" I asked without taking Wise Girl's cap off.

I took off the hat telling them I had entered and then I told the two of them the problems with the plan, quickly we improved it.

Thalia POV:

I walked down the stairs behind Percy and Annabeth; they walked over to our other friends asking if they had seen me, they hadn't so, with me following behind invisibly, Percy, Annabeth, Frank, Hazel, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny walked out the portrait hole. They talked for a bit but I sped past them down towards the entrance hall.

As I walked in I saw that there were only a few students watching, but that McGonagall, Maxime, Karkaroff, Viktor Krum and Fleur Delacour-Weasley, were stood talking at the side.

"Fifteen minutes left-"

"Lots of entries-"

I only had fifteen minutes left! That was close! I ran up to the goblet and placed the parchment in the flames. It roared blue before returning to its normal colour and as I stepped back, I could see Professor McGonagall staring right at me, she smiled at me, nodded and stepped away from her companions.

"Thalia Grace, how's Olympus? Camp? And the Hunters?" She asked. "I hope the war wasn't too hard on you?"

"What, how do you know about that?"

"Well, my mother is your older sister, Athena. Together Chiron and I manipulated the mist around the other teachers, so that you could come here. And haven't you wondered why Artemis let you go on this quest so easily? I talked to her, I used to be one of her favourites, for 70 years, I remained twelve years old and then, somehow I was discovered by the headmaster from fifty five years ago. I had to leave the hunters to learn magic and I never returned; my father named me after my mother. My name is Minerva."

"I'm a bit confused." I said quietly.

"137 years ago I was born, the child of Athena and Rupert McGonagall. I went to camp when I was 7 and then joined the hunters at the age of twelve. For seventy years I was a loyal hunter, but after 70 years, we were visited by the man who was headmaster of Hogwarts at that time, he explained that I was the descendant of a girl who had disappeared seventy years earlier - that was me – he told me I was a witch and unless I trained to harness my powers, it would end badly. I knew that to train for seven years I would have to become mortal and age so I left the hunters. You are the first hunter I have spoken to for sixty five years. Until twenty years ago, I kept in contact with camp, but not since then. So naturally I was very shocked when Chiron iris-messaged me about your prophecy, but together we made it able for you to come here."

Haha i bet you didn't expect that. i had this brainwave, you see I wanted one of the people at hogwarts to be a demigod and I realised that her name was minerva so i decided to make her a daughter of Athena.

I hope two updates in a day makes up for my ridiculously long absence.
