Chapter 8 awards and fights

This is set after So the Drama and is AU from there on.
To all the critics who don't like this story because I am not apparently following the law accurately. I remind you, this is fan fiction people can write whatever they want to. If you don't like it don't read it. I'm not forcing you to.
Well that's enough of an author's notes on with chapter 8.
Sata Tower Go City
As the limo pulled up at Sata Tower members of the press from all over the country and locally started taking pictures of Kuto and firing questions at him, as he stepped out of the limo and entered the building.
He was greeted with thunderous applause and saw the mayor on a podium in the centre of the room, the mayor said with a smile "People of Go City. Tonight the Go City Municipal Group is honouring a man who has done so much for this city and the people in it. It is not his wealth or the family name we are here to honour. But his work to make Go City a better, safer place to live. Ladies and gentlemen please join me in congratulating the four Go City humanitarian of the year winner, Mr Kuto Sata."
Everyone applauded and the mayor said "Before I present the awards. We arranged a special tribute to you Kuto. Play it."
The lights dimmed as a screen set up in the middle of the started to play a video of Kuto's entire life. A voice said "Kuto Sata. Visionary. Genius. A humanitarian to the entire world. A man who has donated billions of his own money to help provide housing for homeless people all over the globe, not just Go City. Helping feed starving people in Africa and help tackle global warming. The son of Patrick and Lisa Sata. The young man took over the company after the tragic death of his parents in a car accident over a decade ago, and is ushering in a new era in the Sata family legacy and helping continue the great work of his parents by helping those who need it most and asking for nothing in return."
As the video ended the mayor said "Now people, the man of the hour. Mr Kuto Sata!"
Kuto walked up to the podium and shook hands with the mayor who gave him the four awards and said "You have earned this Kuto. On behalf of the people of this wonderful city. Thank you."
Kuto accepted the awards and whispered back to the mayor "No need to thank me at all. I was just doing what was right."
With that the mayor stepped off the stage as Kuto began his speech, the young businessman said "As most of you know, the true humanitarians in my family were my parents. Many people in this room knew them well. Most of the people they helped call them the patron saints of Go City. They worked tirelessly to help those less fortunate. Setting up homeless shelters, building houses and whatever else they could to help them. I like to think if the driver who hit their car that night. Knew them, knew what work they did to help the city and the people in it. He would have stopped and helped them and made sure an ambulance got there quickly to help them further. The truth is, I haven't done enough for this city. My city."
Kuto paused before he said. "I've failed it. But I promise you, I am not finished yet. Not by a long shot. I promise you all that this city, this entire world will be better for all of us. And on that day I will look at these four beautiful awards and feel that I have truly earned them. I thank you."
Everyone applauded as Kuto smiled and suddenly several loud gunshots ran through the air.
Kuto's security guards quickly took out their guns and were looking for the shooters when suddenly they were shot dead and Kuto glared when he saw who the shooter was.
It was Eclipse and his men were with him.
Eclipse said with a look of anger on his face "You left me off the guest list rich boy."
The mayor shouted angrily "What the hell do you want Eclipse?!"
Eclipse replied "What do I want Mr Mayor. What I want is quite simple. I want Kuto Sata here dead. He is the one who Shego loves, the same woman who burned over 60% of my body and made it so I had to spend 8 months in hospital. Killing Sata will hurt Shego in more ways than I ever could."
Middleton general hospital
Shego was in shock at what she and Richard saw on the news and she saw on the TV her brothers were near Kuto and none of them were in their Team Go attire. She knew none of them could take action without revealing their secret identity's to Eclipse or anyone else.
She knew what she had to do and immediately started to take wires off her body as Richard asked "What are you doing Sarah?" `
She replied "Getting out of here and I'm going to stop Eclipse, my wounds are already healed. I have fast healing after all. I also have limited super speed. Knowing Kuto he'll buy for time, that'll give me the time I need to get to Sata Tower."
Richard grabbed a nearby bag and handed to it as Shego opened it she smiled and saw her Team Go outfit was in it.
Richard said "I'll make sure you get out of here unnoticed" and left the room to ensure just that as Shego got quickly dressed keeping one eye on the TV as she did.
As soon as she was dressed she opened the window and climbed out and jumped on the third floor to the ground and quickly ran, determined to get to Go City as quickly as she could and if she failed to save Kuto. She swore to herself that Eclipse would die this time instead of just end up badly burned.
Sata Tower Go City
Kuto backed away from the podium and held up his hands as he walked off the stage and said calmly "Eclipse listen to me. You don't want to do this. You do this and you will die, that is a fact. The Go City police will hunt you down and kill you. Shego will hunt you down and kill you herself. She'll make those horrid burns you got over 60% of your body last time you and her met look like mere burns off the stove in comparison."
Eclipse said "Are you willing to bet your life on that? Or the life of the mayor or anyone else in this building of yours? You are rich but you've never had to make a life or death decision in your life have you. Not once, well let's change all that. You choose who dies. It can be you or someone else and you can't pick me or my men that's against the rules. Now choose Mr Sata. Who lives and who dies?"
Before Kuto said a word the doors burst open and a gust of wind came into the place and suddenly Shego was in the room and glared at Eclipse as the man was in shock to see Shego standing right in front of him.
Shego ignited her plasma and said sarcastically "Hello Eclipse. Remember me?"
Eclipse smiled and said "I wondered when you would show up. Probably woke up the moment I came in here am I right?"
Shego's answer was to charge at the psycho and knocked the gun out of his hands as Go City police stormed the building.
Shego grabbed Eclipse by the throat and the man asked "What now. Are you going to burn me again?"
Shego replied "No but I have a lot of pent up anger. I can't go after the person I want to make pay. So I'll settle for you Eclipse."
With that she started to punch Eclipse repeatedly until the man was bloody, bruised and out cold.
Once Eclipse and his men were arrested and brought to the Go City police station Shego saw in the midst of the fight her brothers managed to slip away and appear again in their Team Go attire.
The mayor said "Shego. I speak for everyone here tonight when I thank you for saving our lives. The rest of this country might see you as a villain. But to us you've always been a hero and you showed the nation why that is."
Shego walked over to Kuto and held his hand as she said "Thank you Mr mayor. I know that most hate me and see me as a villain. But I will show them how wrong they are. Team Go is back."
Everyone in the room cheered at the news and cheered even louder when Shego kissed Kuto in the middle of the room.
