Where did things go wrong? When did my best friend, the most unusual yet humanly human being, turn into an obsessed love-sick man? And the woman he loved, the poor victim. It was his fault. All of these because he was trying to get both of his friends to be together; for things to return to normal. But after everything, how can it be normal?

John knew something was wrong with his friend. Well, one might say that there were many things that were wrong with Sherlock Holmes. But its John. Sherlock's best friend. The one who knows how Sherlock's mind works. He knows the whole "Molly, I love you" fiasco and he knew how it turned out. even though Sherlock didn't tell him and just ran out of Bart's. When he went back to Baker Street that morning, Sherlock went straight to his laptop and started looking for cases. Lately, he's been like that. One case after the other, no rest. Well, that's how he's always been. But this was no sleep, no eating, no second wasted. Sherlock was so desperate for a case that he started taking even the ridiculous cases -the husband having an affair, etc. But John knew better. he knew that Sherlock wasn't only looking for a case.

He was looking for a distraction.

And it was then, when Sherlock got back to Baker street and asked John for another case, that John had enough.

"Sherlock, stop." John said.

"Stop what?" He asked, not looking at John and going straight to his computer.

"Sherlock, you have to stop and rest. You're computer's about to break down, and I don't even want to start about what will happen to you."

"Well, John. I'm disappointed. About 6 years of being my best friend, I thought you'd get used to it."

"I am used to it, Sherlock. But that was when you still sleep. When you still eat and sleep and do at least some things that people usually do."

"I am not most people, John."

"Sherlock, I'm sorry that I have to bring this up, but I think that you're afraid to stop because if you stop, you'll be grieving about what happened between you and Molly."

Sherlock's jaw tightened when he heard her name.

"Sherlock, you have to accept that what Molly did was your fault."

"John I would appreciate it if you stop right there."

"No, Sherlock. I won't. Because, I know that you're afraid of it, but you have to give yourself sometime to think."

"I don't understand."

"Look, Sherlock. You're inexperienced, I get it. But instead of trying to work yourself to death, why don't you make amends to Molly? And if that doesn't work, just know that I'll be there for you. I'll be with you through out this depression. That's all I'm asking."

Sherlock thought about it for a while. Why can't John just leave him be? How can he do this? How is this supposed to happen? Does it have a specific length of days for this depression that John says? How come it sounds scary?

Calculating...

Calculating...

Calculating...

There were so much questions in Sherlock's mind that doesn't have an answer to for there's this one room in his mind palace labeled "Relationships" that's empty, dark and cold with only dust and cobwebs in it. These are new waters he's testing, with no one to save him. Even though how hard he tries, he doesn't know what to do.

"Do you still love her?" John asked. Sherlock just scoffed and smiled sadly.

"What kind of question is that? Are you really that stupid?" John chuckled. He's starting to sound like himself. "How am I supposed to do this, John?" He asked, looking at John with that worry and doubt filling his eyes.

"Well... You have to try to win her back, or at least her respect."

"And it will work? If I do, it'll work?"

"It will..."

So, it was then it started. First, the flowers, then the "I'm sorry" notes. He started going back to Bart's to talk to Molly. John never witnessed it, but he keeps on getting feed backs from Sherlock saying "It was fine" or "She's still ignoring me". What John didn't know was how far from fine everything was. It all started with that one word: It will. Sherlock was so determined to win her back -to make it work, that he started doing things that seemed right, but in reality, was driving a wider wedge between Sherlock and Molly.

John, I need your help with something. Meet me outside Bart's -SH

John immediately went to Bart's and saw Sherlock outside.

"So, what do you need me for?" He asked.

"You'll find out soon." Then, they heard a laughter of Molly along with a man's laughter. Sherlock quickly pulled John by the arm and they both hid in the shadows.

"Sherlock?" John said, quite getting it now and unsure about the rest. They can hear Molly giggling lightly. The man's voice sounded familiar, though. John looked at the man. Prominent cheekbones, curly hair, hollow cheekbones.

It was Doctor Robert.

"Thanks for asking me out. I never thought anyone would ask me out."

"Well, I can't think of a reason why anyone wouldn't."

John can imagine Molly blushing. And it seemed that Molly was actually happy, since the baby. Like her old self again. And would he risk his friend's happiness for his best friends'.

No.

That was too far.

"Sherlock, I don't think you should do this."

"Why not? Robert's a distraction for Molly. An obstacle. How can I win her back if she's with him?" He asked absentmindedly.

"Sherlock, she seems happy. Don't you want that?"

"Yes. I do want that. I want her happy with me," He said. "She's mine, John. My pathologist." John's eyebrows shot up.

"Sherlock, she's not an object. She's not yours to own." John retorted.

"But you said-"

"I said to try to make amends with her. Not run into her life and tear the happiness out of her life like you always do." John said and he can see the sadness and disappointment in Sherlock's eyes. Sherlock knew he was right. All he ever brought to her was disappointment. But if John taught him anything, it would be that anything can change. Sherlock wants to change that disappointment into happiness; more than what Robert's giving her now. And he was hurt about what John said. Is that what he's about to do? Tear out her happiness?

No...

Sherlock watched as Molly and Robert got into a cab. He's going to give it to her. Sherlock steeled his gaze and clenched his jaw.

"No, John. I'll do this alone now, thanks." He pushed past John and hailed a cab.

And that's how it started. The crazy things that Sherlock did just to win Molly back. John tried and tried and tried to reason with him, but it was almost impossible to get him to stop. He just can't let go.

Hi guys! Crazy chapter, huh? I'm sorry that this chapter seems kinda odd and Sherlock went dark side, but if you look behind it, Sherlock just wants to do something that'll make Molly happy and since he has no experience in love, he doesn't know which is right and what's wrong. Anyways, just try to understand the guy. Sorry there's not much Molly in this chapter but there's a preview about Molly starting to date Robert! And she's happy, for once! Okay, I'm also really REALLY sorry it took me this long to update. Before I got my hands on a computer, there was school last June then there was exams last week and today's rest day and my cousin's not here so I got to use his laptop! Anyways, please review! Cuz I don't exactly know where this is going and I'm having a hard time writing lately -serious writer's blocks, and please tell me what you want to happen and I'll see what I can do! Thank you to those who waited long for an update! I can't promise anything, but I'll try to update as much as I can!
