New chapter. Not really :P Anyways, I don't think I really fixed the quality... I just added more to less. I don't own Shugo Chara, Peach Pit does. Anyways, enjoy!

I sat on the toilet, completely confused. I held my head tightly, my brain on three sides of war. I couldn't decide whether I should meet the Guardians, meet Utau, or ignore them both. I groaned, my brain pounding. The bell rang, but I didn't move from my spot. In my hand was the cold metal of the Humpty Lock. I sighed and looked at my bag, where Ran and my new chara, Miki, sat. They looked up at me, curious.

"What should I do?" I asked. I felt weird asking them of all living things. Miki shrugged and I began to feel like throwing her in the toilet beneath me. Ran chuckled nervously.

"Maybe you should tell the Guardians you have to meet somebody," Ran suggested. "After all, you did say you would meet Utau first."

I nodded and sighed. I didn't want to turn down the prince (and the rest of the Guardians, of course), but I did say I'd be part of 'Easter'. Then again, it could all just be a hoax. I groaned again and cupped my head in my hands.

"Amu-chan, your over thinking things," Miki muttered. I nodded. I hated to admit it, but Miki was right. I stood up and exited the bathroom. I made my way towards the Royal Garden. I was pretty disappointed to see it was just a greenhouse, but all my disappointment melted as soon as I walked in.

The Royal Garden was more than 'royal'. It was enchanted and beautiful.

Sparkling water streamed in a square shape around a flower bush. The white, wooden gateway was decorated with vines and multicolored flowers where scattered neatly around the garden.

"Welcome to the Royal Garden."

I looked up. I was so mesmerized by the Royal Garden that I didn't notice the Guardians sitting around a table.

"Please come in, Hinamori-san. We've all been waiting for you."

I shook my head and didn't budge.

"I have to go," I mumbled, turning to the door. "I already planned to meet somebody today."

"Oh," Tadase said, a bit disappointed. "Can't you stay for just a little?"

I turned and my face became beat red. I couldn't stand to stare at his cute, little pouting face. I ran out the door.

"Sorry!" I exclaimed as I left.

I was still blushing when I made it to the wall where I was supposed to meet Utau. I put leaned on my knees, breathing heavily. I felt guilty for leaving the Guardians hanging like that. Utau didn't look to happy, though. Her arms where crossed and she was tapping her foot impatiently.

"Took you long enough," she muttered. I shrugged, fighting the urge to apologize to her.

"I had to meet the Guardians."

Utau sighed. "You can't be friends with the Guardians. They're the enemy."

I was taken aback. The Guardians seemed so nice. There was no way they could be the enemy. Utau nodded, as if she could read my mind.

"I have to leave now. Next time, don't be late," she said harshly, walking away. I stood there, dumbfounded. Her words bounced around in my skull.

'You can't be friends with the Guardians...'

"You can't be friends with the Guardians."

I lay on my bed and stared up at the ceiling. I rolled onto my side and turned to my three eggs. Ran and Miki looked at me, worried.

"Please don't think to negatively," Ran said, "or else we'll vanish."

I sat up and chuckled. The corners of my lips curved upwards.

"Don't worry," I reassured. "I'm not thinking negatively. I'm just a bit shocked." I lay back down on the bed and stared at the ceiling once more. My smile faded. "I'm just going to have to make sure I avoid the Guardians."

Who thought Ran and Miki where going to become X-eggs? Pfft. Anyways, R&R!
