Have you guys ever wondered what Leo's life is like from his perspective? What happens to him from morning to evening besides teaching at Pretty Top? Well if you have these questions in mind, your questions will be answered in this chapter. Or at least this special day for him.
Leo's P.O.V.
The alarm clock goes off and I wake up. I look at the time, 4:30 a.m. as always. I stand up and fix my bed. I proceed to the bathroom and take a bath. I dress up in my usual jacket and jeans and go out of my room. I live in an apartment where the apartmentkeeper is an old woman who is very kind.
I sit down, Japanese-style, in front of a short table. There is a mug of hot chocolate on it, as always. The apartmentkeeper's daughter always does that. She comes and sits down in front of me. "Thanks as always." I take a sip of the hot chocolate.
"You're welcome Mr. Harune." She said.
I sigh. "Again with this Mr. Harune, I told you to call me Leo, Aoi Takabuchi."
"It's against the rulebooks sir." Aoi replies with a smile.
"What rulebook?" I ask.
"This rulebook." Aoi says as she takes out a book named, 'Takabuchi apartment rulebook.'
"I stand corrected then." I say with a halfhearted smile. "But please I hate people who call me by my last name. It sounds so… formal."
"Alright, sir Leo." Aoi says.
"I see you can't drop the sir but that'll do." I say. "Anyway, gotta go bye!" I wave and proceed outside with my hands in my pocket.
I walk down the street and pass by a bakery and see a young girl sitting near it. She's always there when it's morning. I buy some bread and walk over to her. "You're still here?"
"My mother always makes me go here since you gave me bread every day." She replies with a sour smile. "You should stop being nice to me." She stands up. She wears nothing more than worn hand me downs. It looks so… pitiful.
"Last time I did that I saw you with bruises." I ruffle her hair. "It only costs a hundred yen and it's not like every day you need bread."
"Thank you so much!" She hugs me and I ruffle her hair again. It's a habit I have. "Goodbye!" I wave at her and when she disappears I continue to walk down the street.
I arrive at a restaurant which I always go for breakfast. I enter and as always it was empty and the two there are fighting and shouting at each other. They finally notice me after a minute or so.
"I'm sorry for having to hear that but I already prepared you the usual." The chef says. He gives me a plate of omelet egg and a glass of water. I start to eat in silence… until the two started to argue again. I finish my breakfast, pay for it and leave. It would have been way more delicious and enjoyable if they weren't fighting all the time.
I walk to Pretty Top and wait, as always, for the trio to come here after school. I look at the papers on my table which indicate my contract to Pretty Top… no, let me rephrase that, to MARs. I only signed the contract to Pretty Top in the condition of me being contracted to MARs only. Although I have a feeling that I will be coaching people other than MARs. I get paid so I won't care. I browse through the contract and stop at one certain condition I made.
'I will go wherever MARs will go for I am contracted to them. Should they leave Pretty Top, I will follow them.'
The door opens and Jun comes in.
"'Sup." I say as he walks inside.
"The President wants to talk to you." Jun says.
This was a rare occasion. I wonder what it would be. I stand up and left for the President's office.
"What do you need Prez?" I ask.
"It's about the upcoming Prism Queen Series." Kyoko says with her hands placed firmly on the desk.
My heart skips a beat, when she asks me something this serious my first reaction is that it will be so serious and will involve MARs. "What about it?"
"You see, I think I saw Rizumu Amamiya's mother, Sonata Kanzaki, once here in Japan. Recently." Kyoko explained.
"I thought she went overseas." I say. "She did disappear for I don't know how many years, right?"
"That was what I thought as well but I am pretty sure that she is Chris Kaname's coach." Kyoko continues.
"Oh my Gods." I exclaim. "This is… amazing! We-We must tell Rizumu the good news right away!"
"No Leo. Not yet. Not while she is in this condition." Kyoko says making me very confused. If Sonata's back, why would we not tell Rizumu about it or Mr. Ryutaro.
"What condition?" I ask. I hate being this clueless, I just do.
"She… She lost her memories. I do not think she remembers us." Kyoko says. "That or she is just avoiding us."
This is enigmatic. Why would Sonata come back all of a sudden and not greet her family with happiness? And why would she coach Chris Kaname? To win the Prism Queen Cup? I rub my chin as I think.
"What are you thinking?" Kyoko says. I snap my head up. Of course, me rubbing my chin is a dead giveaway that I was thinking about something seriously.
"Nothing important. About the Prism Queen Series." I say trying to find out what the Prez has in her mind.
"Ah yes. I want your sister, Aira Harune, to perform… The Aurora Rising." Kyoko replies.
My vision blurred for a while. I lean on the wall for support. Prez will make my sister do the Aurora Rising, the jump that has broken many Prism Stars. Why would she?
"It may help Sonata… Help her remember… She can help Rizumu and Sonata." Kyoko says as she puts her face on her hands and her elbow is on her desk.
"What?" Was all I could manage. I don't want my sister to end up like most of those Prism Stars who lost their memories. I don't want her to become like Sonata.
"I think she has the talent for it." Kyoko reassures me. It doesn't work.
I can only imagine the life with a family member having lost her memory. Wow, I imagine Rizumu right now… How she feels.
"Fine." I say. "You're the boss."
"You won't stop me?" Kyoko asks with disbelief.
"So, you want me to stop you?" I ask her with irritation.
"If you want to…" Kyoko replies.
"I can't argue right now. I just… It's really alright." I say. "But please, do your best to not let Aira lose her memories. It would break my family."
I leave the premises and as I walk down the hall I bump into the trio.
"Oh hey L-" Rizumu says as I walk past her without paying attention to them. Now's not the time. I need to think, I need to be alone.
"What's with him?" I heard Mion ask the others. I could imagine the others shake their heads.
The whole day passes as I think about this predicament. I didn't even go to the girls but never mind that. I left Pretty Top and head to the apartment I am staying at. Aoi says hi and I just raise my hand and head straight to my room. Minutes later I heard a knock and a voice after.
"Sir Leo, dinner's ready." Aoi says on the other side of the door.
"Alright." I reply. I stand up and headed straight for the dining room. I saw all the other occupants there which composed of a student, a college examinee and a businessman. I sit down beside the college examinee. She is a girl with long brown hair. She waves at me and I smile. Everyone in this apartment knows about each other. We laugh and tell stories about each other's days except me. I finish my dinner and bid good night to the other occupants. I proceed down the hall and enter my room. I take a shower and I sleep on the bed.
A/N: Heya guys! What's up? This a special chapter I put up because I can't rewatch the next episodes of Pretty Rhythm because our internet sucks. Well, thanks for reading and for waiting.
And Yuisaki, thanks for that inspirational review. I think your stories are good too. I read it, I just don't review. Again thanks and I hope you keep on reading this fic.
