A/N-So,I managed to get another chapter done! I hope you guys like it. Please review! I'm toying with different ideas on what I want to happen with Brooke and Spencer and am possibly looking to kill off someone but I'm not sure yet! Please let me know what you think! Until next time...
Happy reading:)
"She's still sleeping. I'm not sure how she's feeling, baby girl. I'll ask her once she comes around," Morgan looked at Brooke who was still sound asleep.
" ?" The doctor came into the room and sat down across from Morgan.
"I gotta go, doctor is here. I'll call you back," Morgan hung up the phone, "Sorry about that."
The doctor smiled warmly at him, "Not a problem. We did the kit like you asked and she looks to be fine."
Morgan sagged in his chair, "Thank you, I needed to hear that."
"It's always a relief. But, we did find an abundance of alcohol in her tests and also traces of rohypnol."
"Rohypnol. She was drugged," Morgan rubbed his eyes with the palms of his hands.
"It seems that way, yes. She will make a full recovery but I think some counseling would be good for her," The doctor glanced over at Brooke and then down at his chart, "There is one other thing that concerns me."
"You think she has an eating disorder," Morgan stated in a matter-of-fact manner.
The doctor was slightly thrown off for a moment but nodded, "It is exactly what we are thinking. Her pointer finger on her left hand is slightly scabbed which comes with an excess of throwing up and her cheeks are slightly swollen."
"Wait,are you saying she's bulimic?"
"No,I mean, yes but not in the way you think. She obviously throws up but she is also skinny, too skinny. I think she uses a combination. She has what we would classify as EDNOS."
Morgan shook his head, "I have no clue what that means."
"Most people don't. It's short for 'Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified.' She uses a combination of starving herself but also eating enough to make people think she is healthy but she later throws it up."
"So,what do we do?"
"That's up to you. I will recommend a therapist and give you a sheet of treatment centers that will help her but , this isn't something to mess around with. She needs help."
"Understood. Thank you,I really appreciate everything."
"Just doing my job. She will be able to go home later this afternoon if her vitals are still good."
Morgan nodded and then stood up to shake the doctors hand before he left.

"And another case solved by the great BAU," JJ said as she packed up her stuff.
"A job well done, team," Hotch congratulated the team as they walked out of the conference room.
Garcia was waiting by the cars when the team got to the parking lot, "Are we ready to go and get Morgan and Brooke and head home?"
"All set, let's go pick them up," Hotch smiled at her and slid in behind the wheel of the first car.
**************
"Morgan?" Brooke whispered as she sat on the edge of the bed.
"I don't want to hear it right now, kid. The team will be here in 5 minutes, let's go."
"Morgan, please. I'm sorry,I just panicked and I needed to go and..." Brooke trailed off as Morgan walked out of the room.
Brooke followed him out and stood timidly behind him as he signed the papers and then followed him as he walked to the elevator.
"I'm sorry," Brooke said again as she choked back tears.
"I said save it," Morgan snapped as he pressed the elevator button to bring them down to the lobby.
*****************
The plane ride home was a silent one. JJ played cards with Garcia while Emily watched. Rossi read a book and Morgan napped. Hotch was going through the files of the case and was about shut his eyes when he saw Brooke sitting alone at the back. He got up and slowly made his way back to her.
"Can you just yell at me later?" Brooke asked, her eyes still closed.
"I'm not going to yell, I think Morgan said enough for all of us."
"He didn't say anything," Brooke said softly as she opened her eyes.
Hotch looked at her, "Did he really need to?"
Brooke shook her head.
"That's what I thought. You scared us, Brooke. You made a stupid decision and you know that. I just wish you would talk to us. Any of us. Tell what is going on so we can try and help you."
Brooke didn't say anything, just turned her head away.
"If it's something with cheer or at school or Abby, you need to tell me."
Brooke turned suddenly and Hotch saw the anger in her eyes, "I don't have to tell you anything. You're not my dad."
"You're right, I'm not but I'm the closest thing you got right now."
"Why? Because Spencer is probably never going to wake up? News flash, Aaron, I know that," Brooke glared at Hotch and he was shocked at the venom in her voice.
"You don't know that. He could be just fine."
"Or he could die and then what? Where does that leave me?"
"It leaves you with us, Brooke. We're your family. With or without Spencer,we are here for you."
Brooke shook her head, "No. That's not how it goes, it's not how it will go. You'll put up with me because you have to not because you'll want to. Maybe for awhile you'll want me but soon I'll be a reminder of what you guys lost and then you won't want me."
Hotch reached out and touched her arm but pulled back as she flinched, "That's not true, Brooke."
"It is true and we both know it," Brooke felt her phone vibrate and pulled it out to see a text message from Leighton. She opened it up and was shocked to see what was sent.
"Brooke?" Hotch worriedly looked at the young girl whose face had suddenly taken on a look of hurt, horror, shock, and anger all in a split second, "What's wrong?"
Brook quickly deleted the text before shoving her phone into her bag, "Nothing. I'm tired, can you leave me alone now?"
Hotch stood up, "For now yes, but there is a lot we need to discuss when we get home."
Brooke nodded and then closed her eyes, shutting everyone out once again.
*************
"Wake-up, kid. We're here," Morgan gently shook Brooke awake, "Get up, we are gonna go check on Spence."
Brooke stretched, her shirt riding up,and Morgan couldn't help but stare at the ribs that stuck out. Brooke didn't miss his glance and she quickly pulled her shirt down.
"We need to talk about that as well," Morgan told her as she grabbed her stuff.
"Whatever. I'm fine, the doctor over exaggerated. Quit worrying so much," Brooke snapped.
"You're not fine and we all know it, kid."
"Shut up and leave me alone Morgan."
Morgan rolled his eyes and grabbed his own bag and followed Brooke out of the jet.
************
"Has there been any change?" Hotch asked the nurse who was in checking Spencer's vitals.
"None,I'm sorry."
Hotch sat down in the chair next to Spencer, "Reid, you have to wake-up. If not for us, do it for Brooke. She needs you, Spencer. We need you. I know we've said this before but right now I am begging you to please wake-up."
" ?" The doctor walked in and waited until Hotch had finished speaking.
Hotch turned and stood up, "Yeah. Good to see you again."
"I wish it was under better circumstances."
Hotch shook his hand, "I would have to agree with you on that one."
The doctor glanced at Spencer and then back at Hotch, "We need to talk."
************
Brooke wandered aimlessly down the halls of the hospital. She needed a break from everyone and knew they needed a break from her as well. She was looking for a vending machine near the hallway where Spencer's room was when she heard Hotch's voice. She paused around the corner, not wanting to be seen.
"So,you're saying that there is no chance for him to come back from this?" Hotch clenched his fists to keep from punching the doctor.
"No,what I'm saying is there is little chance he will recover from this. There is always the chance that he will but it doesn't look promising."
"What do we do?"
"The choice is up to you but I think it's getting to be about that time you really consider turning off the machines."
"You're saying we should..."
***************
Brooke gasped when she heard the doctor say that and she knew Hotch had heard her by the way he trailed off. She couldn't face him, couldn't face the doctor, she couldn't face anyone and that was when she did the one thing she did best. She ran.
