Lucy and hatter were walking around for a while in a peaceful silence.

"Do you know why a raven is like a writing desk?" The hatter faced the blonde on his shoulder who only looked at him with a face that simply said do-I-look-like-I-care.

"Maybe not then" He turned his head and smiled to himself. He was always smiling even when things were bad; he would keep smiling.

Lucy looked up to see his face. She started to get irritated about how he is always jolly and never serious when needed. Like for instant when she needed to pee he said he would come with her and watch to make sure no one would come and steal her. But she had to tell him not to which followed into this whole dilemma of why he can't... and really it's too long and too boring to explain.

"Hatter why do you always smile?" She stood up upon his shoulder and looked at him with irritation.

"Why not?" He shrugged almost knocking Lucy of his shoulder.

"For one, it's annoying and two; there is no reason to smile." She huffed trying to catch her balance after almost falling down what looked like 45 feet.

"Well there's no reason not to smile" Hatter stood still and looked into Lucy's eyes. Lucy only pouted in response.

"Actually there is" Lucy said sounding all high and mighty.

"If it is a good reason then I will stop smiling..." Lucy looked overjoyed at what he just said.

"..But if it's not good enough you have to kiss me, even if you don't want to you then I will kiss you; and I assure you it won't be nice, you being that small and all." Hatter picked up Lucy and placed her into the palm of his hand.

"Then I won't say anything" Lucy huffed and spun around avoiding eye contact with the loon in the hat.

"Fine then I will kiss you." He turned her around with his finger and thumb on her head.

"HATTER!"

"Your choice Lucy" They stood there and waited, Lucy mumbled something under her breath which the Hatter couldn't hear.

"As old Peter says 'Time is running out'" (Peter is the white rabbit just so you know)

Lucy took in a deep breath and opened her moth to say something when the sounds of horses and guard charges were heard.

Whilst that was happening, in the red heart castle the queen was sitting on her throne whilst eating her strawberry sponge cake.

"Mmmm, this is nice. Eating my cake and not being disturbed." Suddenly a loud bang came from the double doors at the end of the room. The queen's face soon turned a light shade of red.

"Your majesty..."

"WHAT! WHAT IN BLOODY HELL IS IT!" The red queen stared down the hall at the person who interrupted her cake time.

"It's Lucy..." The queens face began to turn crimson red. The man standing there was slowly pulling himself into himself fearing what the queen has to say.

"What about Lucy?" The queen calmed herself down and stood up, placed her cake on the tea table next to her and strolled up to the man now shaking on his spot.

"If you hear to tell me that Lucy is back then you must be mistaken. Lucy was sent away by ME! I even erased her memory and killed some of her friends so they couldn't find her and bring her back here. And I did all that so I can stay on the throne. So... Go on, What about Lucy?" she circled the man, gently sliding her finger across his shoulders as she walked past.

"She...Umm...She...Umm..."

"SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!" The queen stomped in her spot showing that she didn't want to wait.

"She's back" He said quickly. The queen jolted and raised her hand at him.

"Please don't hurt me" He covered his face with his arms and awaited the punishment that would soon come.

"WHAT!WHY!WHYISSHEBACKSHESHOULDOFFBEENGONEANDSHOULDHAVENEVERRETURNED!IBETITWASTHERABBIT!IT'SALWAYSTHERABBIT!" The queen began stomping around in her huge red dress with different shaded hearts on the skirt.

"AAARRRGGGHHHH!" She grabbed her crown and threw it in any direction. The crown spun round and round in the air. The two watched to see where it would land.

It headed towards her throne. The queen's face said nothing as the crown knocked over her cake and splattered it all over the floor.

The butler that was standing with her had sweat drops slide down his face.

"Look what you did." She said calmly and with her head down so he couldn't see her expression.

"That was my cake. And. .it."

"THAT WAS MY CAKE!," She turned to him and pulled his collar and brought it to her face. Now they were face to face.

"Off. With. Your. HEAD!" She said it ticking her head with every word. Two red card guard came in and took each arm and dragged him out the room.

"I didn't do anything! I didn't do anything wrong! Let me go!" He shouted as they carried him out. He was kicking her feet trying to break free.

As the door closed you could hear the last thing he said,

"DOWN WITH THE BLOODY RED QUEEN!"

Lucy and the Hatter were running away from the red card guard who had spotted them earlier.

"What do we do now hatter?"He stopped at a nearby lake. He looked down at Lucy who looked at him back with a look saying what-are-you-thinking-.

"The answer to that my dear is. You fly."

"What!?" He took off his hat and placed Lucy on the end. With one look behind him he flung to hat into the air like a Frisbee and launched Lucy across the lake.

"I still want that kiss!" He called after her.

"DOWN WITH BLOODY RED QUEEN"
