Kurapika turned the page of his book, his mind entangled in a thrilling mystery. The writing itself wasn't that good, but the story was brilliant. Despite knowing that Leorio was sitting directly across from him, Kurapika couldn't put the book down.

Leorio watched the blonde with a sullen attitude. They were practically on a date (at least Leorio considered it a date. They were really only hanging out at Leorio's place.) and here Kurapika was, ignoring him! He knew how much the Kurta loved his books, but he was his boyfriend!

"Hey," Leorio started in an attempt to strike conversation. Kurapika's only reaction was to grunt and continue reading. Leorio tried again, and failed. Again. Leorio was nearly seething by now. Not mad at Kurapika, but at the book. This realization only angered him more. There was no way he jealous of a book. It took several minutes before Leorio boiled over, however.

"Would you put down that book?"

Kurapika turned another page before responding. "Hm... I don't see why I should." His eyes never left the page, and yet he seemed to be staring pointedly at Leorio.

"Because we're on a date! We shouldn't just be sitting here," Leorio argued. He was getting very irritated, which probably would make Kurapika ignore him even more, but at the moment he was too worked up to really care.

"Well then, do you have any ideas?" Kurapika smirked to himself when he asked this. No don't Leorio's reaction would be a very... interesting one. He enjoyed flustering Leorio, and moments like these were perfect to do it.

Kurapika was not disappointed with Leorios's response. Leorio blushed up to his ears and when he responded it was shaky and embarrassed, "W-well, yes..."

Kurapika put down his book, and walked over to where Leorio sat across from him, sitting in his lap. The reaction was glorious. Leorio somehow managed to blush even more, leaning back into his chair, as if he was trying to sink into it. "What would these ideas be?" Kurapika leaned in, so his face was but an inch from Leorio's.

Leorio cleared his throat, trying to calm nerves. He didn't speak, and instead placed his hand on the back of Kurapika's head, pulling him in for a kiss. In response, Kurapika kissed back, working his hands into Leorio's hair. He jumped in surprise when Leorio's hands found their way to his hips, but soon relaxed into the touch. Kurapika pulled away for a moment. "I think this is a very good idea, Leorio. Really one of your best," He said before going back in for another kiss.
