Well, here's the next chapter finally. I know, I've been really terrible and all that. So please don't hate. I've still got quite a bit on my plate. Please bear with me. I promise, next year, I'll definitely update much more often. Well, I'm sorry but I'm not answering reviews this time. Maybe next time.
BTW, I did not send this for beta-ing with Resatice, nor did I proofread. Should you find any mistakes, language or otherwise, kindly alert me as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience
DISCLAIMER: If I owned Percy Jackson, my name would be plastered all over the recently released House of Hades. But it's not, that troll of an author's is. *SPOILER ALERT* And I certainly wouldn't write Nico that way either. Poor guy. *END OF SPOILER*

Well, that mission was successful. I was wondering why Agent Gamma didn't want this mission. Maybe it has something to do with the location. After all, there was a rumour of several agents being from the First Planet.
I'd thought that the monsters looked pretty easy to eliminate. Then I saw the extent of the damage they'd caused on 1st Planet's demigod population and decided to end it there and then, before anyone else noticed me. I summoned up a soul container and a book, then read the spell "Submareb Gnisa Kulhkam!" really quickly. (A/N: Imagine it said like Zatanna from YJ would. First to interpret it correctly will get a shout out)
The non-belonging monsters immediately had their souls ripped out of them and into the container. Then, I opened a new portal to go back to the Void.

I can't believe Percy is actually here. I mean, I know the extent of his injuries, seeing as I treated them myself, initially. But that's not the point. The point is that he shouldn't have the energy to get out of bed just yet.
So, to confirm it's him, I walked across the room, and tried to poke him in the shoulder. My hand went right through him. I jumped back, knocking down a side table in the process. All the while, Percy smirked at me, pointing an empty seat out for me to sit.
"As you can see, Agent Gamma, this is but a hologram, a projection of his thoughts, if you will. Agent Sigma is still recuperating in the infirmary."
"Ah, I see now. Thank you, Lord Chaos."
"Would you mind telling us the prophecy, Agent Gamma? Your tone sounds urgent."
"Well, it goes like this
'When terrors befall the camp of halfs,
Rise or fall, the evil still laughs,
The Lost one, the Left one, the Betrayed returns,
The feeling of betrayal the Betrayer learns,
The Hunter's, the Guardian's, the Maiden's past,
Will pose sadness to their kin of last,
When all past heroes reunite as one,
The evil's doing shall be undone.' "
Lord Chaos seemed to frown slightly, then his expression cleared but worry was still apparent on his face (Just like 5. Chapter 2)
Percy's hologram spoke up "And why should this have any relation to any of us? It has been around 300 years since we left, Gamma. Our actions could've been repeated by another generation of demigods for all you know."
"So you admit our past actions may have something to do with it?" I interjected.
"Well, the hunter, guardian and maiden is simple. The camp is simple too. It could be about anyone." Percy pointed out, causing me to stare at him incessantly. "What?" he asked.
"You see, Annabeth and Athena haven't figured out the prophecy yet. And you ... you, have. That is really weird."

As the meeting went on, Earth-related topics became mentions, and finally nothing. Shortly after that, I lost interest too. After all, Chaos was there. Plus, I didn't have much to contribute, so I began strategising an attack plan for the next mission, which I hope I will get as soon as my body heals. Like my former father said, the sea doesn't like to be restrained. Unfortunately, my body is still too injured for me to do anything.
As the meeting came to an end, I excused myself. It was exhausting, keeping up the apparition, and it was also using up precious energy needed for my recovery. At any rate, I'd had enough of the dealings. Losing the apparition, my consciousness returned to my body and I slept.

Moments after an entire brigade of monsters of all shapes and sizes emerged out of a pitch black portal in the arena, demigods of all ages began to fight. Lady Annabeth appeared several minutes later, just as I killed a dracanae. I watch in amazement as she slices her way toward the middle of camp with her bronze knife.
And, no, I do not have a crush on Lady Annabeth. I just, admire her. Looking up just in time, I grab the end of a staff which was aimed at my chest. Twisting my wrist slightly, I managed to make contact with the creature-which-attacked-me's eye. It backed away, clutching it's blinded eye.
I immediately jumped up and ran to help my sister, who was being attacked by a hellhound. After all, she's only 10 and can barely hold a sword properly. As I ran, I glanced around at the battleground. The monsters from Greek mythology were being sliced to bits of dust like they should be. However, the other monsters were barely fazed or hadn't been affected at all.
Out of the blue, a portal appeared and out of it came a figure in black. He wore a bright orange mask and carried a small book. He mumbled something and majority of the monsters dropped dead, almost literally. Their eyes, well the ones which were visible, were glazed over. The unaffected monsters were quickly dealt with.
The next chance I got, I looked around for our saviour. Instead, I saw Lady Annabeth and Adriana unconscious by Zeus' Fist. I yelled for some help and ran towards them. As I approached, I saw that Adriana was bleeding from her side. I prayed to Apollo that she'd be alright.

When I awoke after the battle, I found that I was in the infirmary and the sheer level of hectic then was crazy. I sat up and looked around, just observing the going-ons when something caught my eye. It was Adriana, and she was lying on the bed adjacent to mine, looking as pale as sheet. I stupidly sat up and tried to stand. The moment I touched the floor, I collapsed. Instantly, two medics were at my side, and they helped me back on to the bed.
Opening my mouth slightly, I realised that my throat was parched and motioned for a drink. In no time, a glass of nectar was in my hands. I quickly swallowed and my injuries immediately began healing.
Out of the blue, a camper ran in, clearly panicked, or worried about something. He said two words and the entire infirmary fell into chaos.
A monster, apparently not of Earthly origin, had appeared, or rather, come back to life as the campers were dragging its body to the camp border. Then it'd killed several campers just by looking at them straight in the eyes. And no one was left of the little party assigned to get rid of the monsters.
Naturally, I felt, as the camp's director, I was in charge of protecting camp. Although, I always imagined Percy returning to take his place as the rightful leader... Oh what am I thinking, I'm supposed to be getting rid of a monster I can't look at.

"Achoo!" I suddenly sneezed, effectively waking up. Back in my body, I wondered if I were catching a cold. I attempted to sit up, only to lie back down, pain flaring across my chest. I took deep breaths, and decided to lie down until I found someone to bring me painkillers.
Sure enough, a few minutes later an agent appeared, supporting another agent, who seemed to have been injured in combat training. Once the injured agent had been seen to by the automatic medical system, I tried to get the agent's attention by calling out but found that my voice was gone from lack of use and dehydration. In the end, I resorted to making any available liquid float momentarily, even if it took a bit out of me.
That little feat indeed caught the agents' attention. Unfortunately, neither understood my gesture, resulting in my waiting for the agent to get a notepad for me to write in. A few minutes later, I had a glass of what seemed like fruit juice in my hand.
I gulped it down, and felt my throat moisten up in less than a second. Clearing my throat, I asked what day it was. The stunned agents expressionlessly informed me. Getting up, I made my way to Pi's chamber, intending to catch up on what has happened since the meeting ended.
When I reached the door, I took a deep breath and was about to knock when I heard a swishing sound, the signature sound of a portal closing. I hurriedly hid behind a column, and as I expected, the door opened and Pi peeked her head out. She looked around and apparently satisfied, she went back in and closed the door.
I debated what I had seen, but seeing as I trust her the most aside from Lord Chaos, I pulled myself together, went to her door and knocked the door the way I usually do, in a specific rhythm decided by Pi herself. Two seconds later, she answered, looking confused. Her expression became one of surprise when she saw me smirking at her outside.
"Agent Sigma?" Pi looked pleasantly surprised. "You're up!"
"Well duh, I'm solid, aren't I?" I stated, feeling my abdomen to make sure. "At least I'm sure. I was gonna tell you before I look for Lord Chaos. Where were you earlier? I heard a portal close."
"I-uh, that is-it's-" Pi stammered. "It's okay. Who were you visiting?" I tried to coax an answer out of her. Unfortunately, she shut up and the rest of our walk to Lord Chaos' quarters was awkwardly silent. I blocked my mind from probing so we could surprise Lord Chaos, well try to anyway. I don't doubt word of my waking has spread amongst the agents.
The moment my knuckles made contact with the door, it flew open, revealing Lord Chaos hurriedly putting on an overcoat.
"What are you doing, lord?" I asked confused. Lord Chaos never put on coats manually. He usually just snapped his fingers for trivial stuff like that.
Lord Chaos' eyes widened. He ran out and bear-hugged me suddenly. I staggered backwards in surprise. Out of the blue, he dragged Pi and I into his chambers and shut the door in the blink of an eye, literally.
I couldn't move for shock while Pi was shivering. Really, one would think she was hiding something big. Lord Chaos took off the cloak and looked me up and down.
"I'm glad you're alright, Perseus. I can't imagine who would put a hit out on you. Luckily, I was able to spread word of the end of Sigma momentarily. Only agents are aware of your survival. You should keep that mask on at all times from now on, as I instructed during the meeting last week."
I nodded, stunned beyond belief. Then, a thought struck me. "Last week? I was out that long?" Lord Chaos nodded. I turned to Agent Pi, asking her "Hey, you haven't answered my question yet. Who were you visiting?"
Pi's face remained poker-faced. "It wasn't anyone important. I-it's nothing." She replied as formally as she could, not betraying any emotions. Lord Chaos frowned for a moment and a small smile appeared on his face. "Leave her be, Perseus." He turned back to me, "I'm just glad you're back on your feet."
A few minutes later, Pi and I bowed and bid our farewells to Lord Chaos. I walked her back to her quarters, awkward silence enveloping us all the way.
We soon arrived at her door. I wished her good night and we parted. I could swear I saw a tear on her cheek. I wandered back to my own quarters and saw Gamma waiting outside my door.
Well, that's that. The next chapter is well on its way. My dad's miffed at me right now, so I probably will be delayed a bit in updating. You could expect an update before October ends, perhaps. I hope anyway. By the way, I will be removing all the A/Ns which make up independent chapters as I have recently read about and decided to follow the rules regarding chapter content. Thanks for being ever patient with me. I certainly won't demand reviews, but they do make my day.
